“I am so satisfied with Alba’s dog sitting for my two dogs this past weekend! I have an almost four year old and a fourteen year old dog, and Alba cared for both of their different needs excellently. I received frequent updates without having to ask, and was able to meet her and visit her home before agreeing to let my dogs stay there. He very rarely shows himself to strangers and this was no exception, but she got him to at least stick a paw out of his hiding place for a treat which, honestly, says a lot about how calming a presence she must have been. About: For quite a few years I’ve taken care of dogs for family members, families all over Long Island and never disappointed! I’ve loved dogs all my life and still do. They’re honestly like family to me and I always treat my family with care, respect and love which is what a dog needs. I currently just graduated college so as of right now I am home full time! Sometimes I go out to run a few errands which means I put the dogs in a crate but my mother works from home 2 days out of the week so if she’s there she’ll keep them out and moving around on their own! Other than that I am very free for now! In my home I have a huge clean yard that runs through the back, side and front it is fenced so the dogs could run freely around for some daily exercise. I also have two dogs of my own that’ll definitely keep your lovely dog(s) company. They are very playful and welcoming, one is 4 years old and the other one is 3 years old, with all their shots and up to date with all doctor appointments. This is a smoke free house also. I’m available to board on all days of the week! I work in clinical research remotely so your dog will get lots of attention and will go for several walks throughout the day. There are no restrictions on drop off or pick up times. We live in a really quiet neighborhood so walks are peaceful! There’s a park where we can walk around and enjoy the outdoors. In our home, we have an open set up and would love for your dog to spend as much time with us as possible. But if your pup needs some alone time, we have a separate area for your pup to decompress. We have a 3 year old toddler who loves dogs! We’ve taught him how to pet pups gently and he loves giving treats! He won’t interact with your dog unless the dog initiates. He stays away from the food and water bowl.

I have a small fenced patio for the dogs to play. Currently I am only taking small dogs in my home at this time. I am also available to go to your home ,and do drop in visits or take your dog for walks :) I am off work for the summer , therefore I will have availability starting July 1st. I am currently available now on the weekends to watch Your small dog in my home or do drop in visits and walks for you . My dog loves to play and go on walks so we will have a great time together:) Doggy daycare in my home will be starting July 1, 2023 throughout next year as well .

If your dog does get along with other dogs great news, my dog will definitely tire them out!

About: I have pet sat and walked for many family friends over the years, have 7 years of experience as a Veterinary Assistant in both general practice and emergency since 2019, graduated with a BS in Pre-Veterinary medicine from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2023, and am American Red Cross Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. During my time working I have had hands on experience administrating medications, and working with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. I’ve had cats since I was born and have had my dog since 2019. I absolutely love dog sitting and getting to meet and take care of everyone’s babies like my own! :) Pet care is currently my part-time work for this summer! I’m going back to school in September for my Radiologic Technologist program. Still need my cat and dog time though!
