My mom works with a local organization back in Nebraska to help find lost animals and return them to their owners and my sister is a certified dog trainer in Colorado, so I’ve definitely learned a thing or two. I’ve watched after animals all of my life, including caring for my mom’s senior dogs and cats while she’s away on vacation numerous times and also popping by any of my friend’s or coworker’s houses to feed and care for their pets when needed. I also worked with a nonprofit organization when I was a teenager that helped care for and raise money for animals in need. I have two dogs of my own, Hopper and Hanky, who are both pretty particular little guys. Hank has epilepsy and severe separation anxiety and Hopper is reactive to strangers, so I’ve learned how to properly care for them to keep them comfortable and happy.
