Before moving to New Jersey I had two huskies and a cat for about 6 years, So I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand the time, patience, and attention they need. About: I've had a natural connection with dogs since I was young, and they usually take a liking to me instantly. That being said, every dog is unique and some may require some time to trust and let me in. Just like us, dogs have their own stories and reasons for their character. I respect and understand this, and have the patience and know-how to build trust and give them the sense of safety and comfort they need. Pet care is officially my primary source of income, my job just wasn't giving me the satisfaction I was looking for, and after being on Rover for some time, I found that alot of ppl have pet care needs, so I didn't have to do unfulfilling work to make ends meat anymore:) I'm very attentive, as much as the particular dog requires, as we all know all dogs are different and require different amounts of attention. About: I've always loved all animals since I was a kid but have a special affinity for dogs and cats. I lost my sweet pup, Ewan, in 2019 to Hemangiocarcoma (a blood cancer) and to this day I still mourn him and can feel his presence in my life. I also lost my dear cat, Figaro, last year to natural old age causes. I'm a very good dog and cat dad and miss them terribly. In the past few years, so many friends and family have asked me to pet sit their fur babies and they always remark that they know their dog or cat is in the best possible hands with me. That they can actually relax on their trip because of how responsible and devoted I am to their pets and how much their pets adore me. Everyone has been encouraging me to sign up for Rover and now I'm finally doing it! I honestly believe Ewan and Figaro guided me here in their own way to spend time with your beloved kiddos. I look forward to getting to meet you and your pets! I work remotely from home as a story consultant and my longest sessions are around 2 hours, so I have most of the day to hang out with your fur baby! If your pet is staying at my place, they'll most likely hang out with me in the large loft area where I work. So they won't be left alone (unless they're the type that needs their space!) The minute they tell me they need to go out for a walk or really just need attention, I'm all theirs. If they're used to taking naps or sleeping on the bed at night, that also is fine by me! :) If I'm at your place, of course I'll abide by your exact rules for them. I follow instructions well and provide plenty of photo updates so you can relax and know your fur baby is in good hands!

I discovered rover and came across Jose’s profile, we connected very easy and he was able to assist watching my dog for me. Jose’s services are great he communicates very well and he kept me updated each day with photos and videos of my dog and i can tell by looking at the photos and videos my dog really enjoyed himself. he enjoyed himself so much that he seemed so sad when we were in the car pulling off from jose’s house after pickup.
