About: I've had dogs all my life! My pup Toffee is my best friend, nothing beats coming home to someone who's always so excited to see you! I take care of friends' and family's dogs while they're away as well - both large and small. I spoil them and always want them to feel at home while their person is away. I take the pups out about every 3-4 hours or as needed. It breaks up the day as well and give me a chance to get up and walk too! Intermittent games of fetch between zoom calls are always on the agenda as well! I have experience walking fussy/reactive, even aggressive dogs, both big and small. I just can’t live without them. Just wanted to put a couple of things up front...first as far as dog walking is concerned I'm getting a lot of requests from all over Jersey and I don't have a car so unfortunately I've had to turn most of them down. And to anyone concerned about there being any sort of negative interaction between your pet and my hedgehog, please don't worry. Hedgehogs are nocturnal so he stays in his cage sleeping all day. So far it has not been an issue at all with any of the dogs I've boarded (including one VERY curious & energetic puppy lol).

“Thank you very much Vanessa!!! We know Henny was a handful and sorry for the mess. We are very pleased with the outcome of our trip and Vanessa being able to accommodate us on such short notice. We scheduled a meet and greet with our pup Henny which went well and from that point we knew Henny was in good hands. Henny loved Vanessa right away. We encountered 0 issues with Vanessa and booking through Rover. We received many lovely updates and pictures of Henny throughout the stay. Vanessa was also very prompt with replies. All in all our pup was a bit of a handful and needs to get more accustomed to staying in the care of someone else as this was his first time being away from us. We will definitely consider booking again with Vanessa and glad we do not have to look any further. Great pet sitter. Thank you again, Henny sends his woofs :)”

“Yusuf was amazing with Tonka! He sent us multiple daily updates and was always quick to communicate with us or to clarify if he had questions. He has a backyard which he allows the dogs to run around in and was looking after multiple dogs, so tonka had the time of his life playing. Above all Yusuf clearly cares about the dogs he is taking care of and Tonka has never been so comfortable staying in a new place. We wouldn't hesitate to ask Yusuf again!”
“Lio is truly a beloved member of our family and is adored by my three children. I am very selective about where I leave him and rarely trust anyone else to care for him. From the very beginning, both Sayarlin and her husband were incredibly kind, caring, and attentive with our "big boy", who think he is a Chihuahua. Whenever I called or had a question, they were always responsive and thoughtful, which gave me great peace of mind. One thing I especially appreciated is that they have access to an outdoor space in New York, allowing Lio to get fresh air and feel comfortable outside of the apartment setting. Their love for animals is obvious, and they treated Lio as if he were their own. I highly recommend their dog-sitting service to anyone looking for trustworthy, compassionate, and reliable pet care.”
