More recently, I have been involved with The Seeing Eye since 2018, as a puppy sitter as well as a volunteer Puppy Raiser, and I have been bathing and grooming dogs professionally since early 2021, working with little puppies for their first grooms all the way up to senior dogs who need a little more love and patience during the grooming process. I have several years of experience working with puppies on basic obedience, and potty training. In addition, I have a 6 year old german shepherd who I have raised and trained myself who I love with my whole heart. I currently work 5 days a week as a groomer, however my schedule can be flexible. I am available most nights after 6 pm and all day Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I do not pet sit in my own home, as I live in a small apartment. About: We lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. Because our schedules can vary, we’re only able to accept boarding requests 2-3 months in advance. We appreciate your understanding! I am self-employed and work from home so am available to give your pet all the attention it deserves, take for walks and potty breaks as needed. We have a fenced yard and I have experience with senior dogs where extra care, love and medication may be needed, and am totally fine with larger dogs as well.

About: As a speech therapist for 10 months out of the year, I primarily work with children and enjoy spending summers outdoors with my own dog, Cooper. “Lucas and Katherine took amazing care of our dog Cali while we were on vacation. This was the first time we've had Cali stay with someone she doesn't know and it went so smoothly. Lucas and Katherine truly treated Cali as their own dog while she was there - she got lots of love and cuddles on the couch, all of her walks and they let her sleep in bed with them!! They sent a ton of pictures that made me feel at ease and kept me up to date on their activities throughout the stay! I would absolutely recommend Lucas and Katherine and will be using their services again in the future!”

“Charlene took great care of my Zoey! After a successful daycare session and trial overnight, I was at ease leaving Zoey with her for an extended period. She loves playing in her yard with her dog, Jack! Charlene made sure Zoey was comforted during the fireworks on the 4th and continued monitoring her for any signs of distress. She also tolerated Zoey digging in her garden (sorry!). Zoey loves being there and looks forward to going back! I highly recommend Charlene!!”
“This was the first time I was apart from my dog for more than two days and the first day that I left the dog with a non relative. It was great to have someone as responsive and responsible as Vincent taking care of my dog. It is clear that Vincent loves dogs and does a great job taking care of them.
