About: My two cats, Neptune and Jupiter, are cared for and loved by yours truly. I have administered ear infection medicine to both and kept both healthy and safe since adoption. I love my own cats, but also cats so much in general because they all are so unique and with their own personality (so much that I can get past cleaning litterboxes every day... ). I also have cared for friends' pets while they are on vacation and so far have had great reviews from the cats themselves😸.

About: I have had pets my whole life. I have had cats most of my life, I love them. I have walked and pet sat for many dogs before. I helped out neighbors and family friends. I am free most days of the week. If I am busy during the day I have an appointment, but I’m usually not doing anything. About: I’ve always had multiple pets my whole life from a young age, learned responsibilities by feeding, grooming, walking, entertaining, training and medically providing for all my pets and any animal in my care. I have experience working in multiple vet clinics throughout my childhood as I was a pre-vet major up until junior year of college so I have a lot of experience with all kinds of animals and medical knowledge as well. I now have my own dog, Appa, who is 2 that I raised from a puppy and am currently self training. Over that time, I’ve worked with dogs and cats young and old, social and skittish. I prioritize establishing trust with any animal I encounter first and foremost. While living in Brooklyn, I worked with a particularly anxious dog who had missed out on opportunities to socialize as a puppy due to COVID, and I helped her to acclimate to city life and build trust with other people and dogs, all the while nurturing our relationship to ensure her sense of safety. Since launching my Rover business in 2022, I have boarded all different breeds of dog from dachshund to poodle, and cavalier spaniel to every color of lab. I have also boarded several cats and I've done house visits to cat sit. My dog clients don't have to worry about conflict with another dog because I only take one booking at a time. My cat clients will never have to worry about a dog being in the house at the same time I accept a cat booking. Taking one client at a time also enables me to provide top notch care, attention and lots of love (and playtime too!) I always allow dogs to eat their meals with the family in the kitchen and hang around the main part of the house. I also have a big yard I can let them run in, and a neighborhood for walks. For cat clients I have a setup in the finished basement (I call it the Kitty Club Room) with several litter boxes that I scoop daily and a couple of feeding areas. All of my furry friends are welcome to the main part of the house once they acclimate. Business hours: Pet Drop Off: 8am-2pm (any day) Pet Pick Up: 8am-6pm (any day) Thank you for considering me for your dog and cat sitting needs! I'm a stay at home mom (children are school aged and accustomed to animals), so I'm usually home, aside from running errands. I have plenty of time in my schedule to work in dog walks, playtime, scooping litter boxes feeding/kibble clean ups and attention. “Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime. “Excellent sitter. Our dog is a senior (15 years old Shiba Inu), who doesn’t really have much hearing or sight left plus doggie dementia. Most times she just wants to naps or be left alone, and a really great appetite. It’s extremely hard to find a sitter that knows how to identify what works for her regardless of how much notes we write. Jia is experienced, intuitive, and great communicator. She was able to gauge what our dog style was pretty early on. Can’t recommend her and her family enough.”
