About: I’m a newly retired teacher and former principal that loves my doggies! Over the years, I’ve had so much love from my very special friends. Would love to give and get some loves from your treasured family member. I literally live in the middle of Stratham Hill Park and I love to walk. Only one “little guy” at a time…🥰 I’m loving my retirement and have lots of time and love to give. I have some scheduled exercise classes in the mornings but always home by 10:30. I’ve had so many dogs over the years. Routine visits to the vet are mandatory and walking, playing, and interacting with my friends are essential. I’m also very familiar with dogs with anxiety. One needs to approach this in a calm and careful way and watch the signs for anxiety coming on and be able to respond with love and kindness. Living right in the middle of Stratham Hill Park, I have easy access to the walking trails. Because I don’t know your dog, they will never be off leash but will be outside often during the day!! I love to walk. 🥰 I have a lovely crate IF your dog prefers this quiet space, but I will not be crating unless you ask me to. Typically my 11 year old grandson will come by after school to snuggle, play and go for a walk with me and your pup!

About: Without exception, the dog park is always one of the best parts of my day. I've had three dogs of my own, and have been around countless other dogs, most of whom instantly become my new best friends. We just gravitate to each other, hence the fuzzy friend whisperer nickname. I have a playful, loving attitude toward every dog I meet. I am also sensitive to dogs who need a little more patience and space to ease into trusting me and respect the boundaries that they need to do that. My training style with my own dogs is focused on positive reinforcement rather than punishment. This approach translates to other dogs as well, unless their owners request differently. Your dog will be in caring, responsible hands with me. They will be loved. Vogel Emergency Vet just opened right across the street from our house, so if anything kind of emergency pops up, your baby will be a hop, skip and a jump away from the care they need. I'm self employed and work mostly from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Sometimes I’ll have drop in visits throughout the day, but if your dog is boarding with me, there will generally be someone else at home with them. They’ll rarely, if ever be left alone. I live on a small farm but also live near a road, so your dog will always be safely on a leash when we go outside for potty breaks. I have a very friendly 12 year old 45lb labradoodle named Huck to keep your baby company in the rare cases that I'm not at home. I have a "squirrel observatory" (bird feeder) right near my workspace so your dog will not only be supervised most of the time but also entertained.

My home offers a large yard for supervised outdoor time, plenty of love, structure, and attention. I’m also a mom to two amazing kids (ages 5 and 7) who have been raised around animals and are very respectful of pet boundaries, body language, and personal space. For overnight stays, I do recommend bringing your dog’s crate if they’re crate-trained or may need a familiar, secure space for bedtime or decompression. My goal is simple: for your dog to feel safe, understood, and genuinely cared for—while you have peace of mind knowing they’re in loving, experienced hands. About: I have been my family and friends go to pet and house sitter my whole adult life. Multiple dogs, or just one. Cats also, I have just never had my own as an adult! I have had animals (mostly dogs) of all shapes and sizes since I was born and treat every animal as if it’s my own! I own a hair salon in Hampton, NH and encourage all clients to bring their dogs in to get all the love while mom or dad gets beautified! I am a self employed buisness owner. This allows me to make my own schedule and gives me the flexibility to take breaks throughout my work day(s) to do tend to any pets needs. Whether that is a few quick potty breaks, walks, outdoor playtime or medication routines as often throughout each day as necessary! I have recently unexpectedly lost my 13 year old dog. Although a senior dog, besides some arthritis in her legs was a very active and energetic dog. She was on medication twice a day and two completely different meals twice a day also. I have cared for 10 week old puppies all the way up to 17 year old senior dogs and will follow their routine to ensure comfort and attention.

“Nick is AMAZING! I was so nervous and hesitant about finding a new dog-sitter after George got hurt by another dog at his previous sitter's house. Nick made me feel immediately at-ease and reassured me that George would be well taken care of by him and his pup, Whaler. He assured me he would get tons of snuggles and bones and followed through with his word! He has kept me updated with photos of George and Whaler (even one of them sleeping with their little legs intertwined!) and I know George has been in a loving and safe space while I'm working the overnight shift. Im more of a homebody type that prefers adventures outside than in the city. I have a fenced in yard but in a residential neighborhood. I would consider this if your dog and my dog became friends outside first.
