About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs as long as I can remember. And my experience goes out further than just cats and dogs. I’ve helped my parents take care of the animals on their little homestead for 3.5-4 years. I took care of ducks, chickens, pigs, goats, and more. I’m currently not working and I’m free Tuesday-Saturday. I’m available in the mornings/mid afternoon. I can do night hours only on Thursdays, fridays, and Saturdays. I live on 5 acres of land, and pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I start each day by feeding and walking my pets, allowing them space to explore. Since I work from home, I can spend quality time with them, playing and training throughout the day. I check on their health regularly, which includes grooming and giving any needed medication. On weekends, I take them on adventures around our land. Pet care brings joy and structure to my life! I care for pets in both my home and my clients' homes by providing a safe and loving environment. In my home, I have a friendly 18-year-old Australian Shepherd who helps create a welcoming atmosphere for other pets. I ensure they have plenty of space to play and explore, while also maintaining a clean and comfortable area for resting. I follow their routines closely, including feeding times, walks, and play sessions. At a client's home, I respect their space and follow any specific instructions or routines the pet is used to. I make sure the environment is safe by removing any hazards. I also give them regular check-ins to ensure they are happy and healthy, and I am always available for cuddles and attention!
About: From volunteering at animal shelters as a teenager, to working as a veterinary technician as an adult, I have dedicated my life to animal care. I look forward to utilizing my skills and compassion to take care of pets outside of the hospital setting. I work full time as a veterinary technician, though with my schedule I have some weekday and weekend availability. I have a relatively flexible schedule and am able to handle some same day check ins to put pet parents minds at ease! Throughout my years in veterinary medicine and working at animal shelters, I have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to take every precaution in various different potential situations.
