You always feel a little nervous leaving your dog with someone for the first time, but she took good care of him. We so appreciated the regular updates of how he was doing. About: Hello, I’m Jess! I grew up around animals from the time I could walk until now. I’ve had dogs, cats, turtles, hamsters, fish and a horse! I’ve always felt so comfortable and at ease around all kinds of animals and have always tried to help every animal I can (even if my parents didn’t appreciate it haha). I currently moved down to North Carolina with my cat and lived with 4 other cats, 4 dogs, and 6 birds before now. I also rescued a 9week old kitten from a dumpster a couple months ago! I’m really excited to have the chance to care for your fur babies while you’re unavailable! I can ensure they will stick to any schedule they may have, have any necessary medications on time, and are happy and safe before I let them have their “me” time! I’m currently working night shifts, part time, so I’m available during the day for our pets and late at night! I typically have 3 days off per week and am able to work around my work schedule to ensure your pets have the best care possible! I like to come in and figure out what I can do to make the fur babies days a little better! Make sure they have food, water, find some treats and toys for them, and have a field day of play! I always triple check that my home and my clients homes are clean and safe when I leave so we don’t risk accidents happening and so everyone can rest easy! I have an open schedule to care for your doggos during weekdays. I am also available weekend days too, if needed. Last minute needs I can accommodate too. My wife brought a sweet one eyed cat into my life and I have found a new love for them as well. I’ve had dogs for nearly 20 years, from puppies through their senior years, so I’m comfortable with the different needs and personalities that come with each stage of life. I’m also very knowledgeable about holistic approaches to canine wellness and enjoy learning about natural ways to support a dog’s overall well-being. I’m patient, attentive, and take the time to get to know each dog individually. Whether your pup needs a good walk, playtime, companionship, or simply some extra love and attention, my goal is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. 🐾 I work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability to incorporate pet care into my day. I’m able to accommodate walks, drop-in visits, and spending quality time with pets throughout the day. I enjoy having the companionship of dogs while I work, and I’m happy to give them the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away. I’m new to caring for clients’ pets through Rover, but I have many years of personal experience caring for dogs, including my own dogs and my daughter’s dog. I treat every pet with the same patience, attention, and care I would want for my own. In a client’s home, I would follow their instructions and their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including walks, feeding, playtime, and giving them plenty of companionship and attention. I understand that every dog is different, so I’ll take the time to learn their personality, needs, and preferences and make sure they feel comfortable and safe while their family is away.
About: I have worked in animal shelters. I have rescued stray and abused animals and helped located their owners and if I couldn't I kept them until they were ready to find a home. I am currently taking college courses to become an animal cop I want to continue to save the abused and neglected animals. I treat my pets like family. I have helped animals including babysitting in my home and at the residents for 18 years. I have worked at the animal shelter and volunteered there. My passion for animals has never changed. My kids also love animals. They have sat and watched animal cops with me and they say to me mommy we need to help them they need a family. It's sweet seeing my kids feeling the same passion as I do. I am a stay at home mom I do babysit kids during the week. I make sure all dogs get exercise while in my home. I have one 12 year old dog I allow all the animals to free roam unless I start seeing some aggression then I do separate bathroom times and things.

Charlotte can pull from time to time while walking, Anastasiya handled the walks like a pro. She took excellent care of our pup. About: I have had animals since I was born and love all kinds of pets. My family has 2 dogs and a cat and i love them dearly. I have been kitty/ house sitting for a family for over 2 years now and enjoy all my time with them. They are extremely skiddish cats and gaining their trust more and more every time is rewarding. I am a server and mostly work night shifts. During the week I am free most of the time until around 4pm. I usually get off anytime around 9-11pm. I have learned to cut dog hair and have been grooming my dogs for a couple years now! I can keep to feeding/walking schedules and ensure the best care for your pets!

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both the pet’s routine and the owner’s home. I follow all care instructions carefully, provide regular updates and photos, maintain feeding and medication schedules, clean up after pets, and make sure they receive plenty of attention and affection while their family is away.
