I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. About: I have had cats in the home since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 and still have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old. I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! Cats specifically can require patience and a kind hand, which I am more than happy to provide. Cats set their boundaries and I respect them while keeping an eye on them. I have worked with kittens all the way to 17 year old and counting seniors, I have full confidence that I would make a great sitter for your cat!

The cats were mainly relaxed, my gray cat is skittish around children so he was a little reluctant to let me pet him because her daughter had been here just before I got home. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. About: I have been around and owned dogs most of my life. I have owned small dogs (chihuahua, yorkiepoo) as well as bigger dogs (boxers, goldendoodle). I work full time though on the weekends I have plenty of time to feed, potty and play with your babies. Of course they would get spoiled . I have 3 fenced in areas in my back yard. One of the areas has 3 of my dogs. One of the fence areas is connected to the back porch when my Boxer and his pit mix sister potty and play. The other fence area is not being used by any dogs now. I have plenty of room for your pupper and can use a create if you prefer.

My typical shifts are 9-4 Wednesday-Thursday. If needed I have no issue with visiting your pets on my lunch break, given that they are a feasible distance from my job. I am available to watch your pets/home for any length of time. I am aware of how stressful it can be for your pet to not only be without their family, but to have a stranger come into their home. I make a point to gain your pets trust using experience and respect. I adapt to the needs of your pet, making sure their are cared for to the fullest, while also staying within their boundaries.
About: I have grown up with dogs so I am very comfortable around them! From playing fetch and going on runs to cuddles and pets I am more than happy to provide your dog with whatever they need. I know that they need lots of love and attention which I am looking forward to giving them. We have two dogs of our own, Wilbur and Goose, and I wish I could have more! But giving your pets love will do me just fine. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me. I look forward to taking great care of your pets! Luckily, I get to work remotely. This allows me a lot of flexibility of when I am able to provide pet care since I can work around my schedule easily! We are fortunate enough to have a large fenced in back yard for our pups to run freely in! Whenever they are not playing outside, they are inside with me and have the option of napping on their own couch, playing with me, or relaxing in my office.
About: I’ve always loved being around animals and making sure they get the proper care they need. All of my family has relied on me to potty train their dogs. I have experience with multiple different breeds because I worked at a boarding/training facility. I am currently on summer break because I am a teacher so I have plenty of availability. I’m a morning person so I typically get up then feed and walk my dogs then tackle whatever the day brings. I’m only not available on Tuesday evenings. I follow your pet's established routine, stick to their feeding schedule, and keep everything exactly as you left it. Whether your pet stays in their own familiar environment or we are somewhere new I'm fully present and attentive the entire visit. Pets are never left unsupervised in unfamiliar spaces, and I always follow each pet's routine to keep them stress-free and at ease.
About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Now in more recent years I've dog sat and currently work for a boarding business. I have been there a full year now and I love it. It is part time hours and would like something extra that still involves animals. Dog walks and care are not a problem for me. I would love to help anyone with their precious pups. I'm also trying to advance in trade skills and become a dog trainer.
About: I have been a pet sitter for 6 years. I own my own house/dog walking business. I chose to expand my services over to Rover! I work a few hours out of the evening so i have plenty of time to hang out with the doggos i keep and take them out every 4 hours In my home, I have a room specifically for the pups that I keep. When I am home i allow them to roam but when Im away I do not cage them unless the owner recommends it! If you prefer for me to come to your home, I abide by the instructions you leave for me.
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have one of my own, I am great at being active with them and would love to dog sit or dog walk for you. I have plenty of references, and would love to watch your dog babies and treat them like my own for how every long you need. I currently work part time so I have lots of time to spend with your animals and can stay with them as much as they need! About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, we’ve had pets ranging from geckos to bunnies and your typical dogs and cats! I currently have an older pit mix. I have experience with puppies/kittens and seniors as wells as administering medications. I’m currently a stay at home mom so my time is pretty open at the moment! Drop in visits are the easiest for me right now as I will not be able to provide boarding or stay in home. I will respect and follow all directions when it comes to your pet in their own home, whether that be crating or free roam. I leave that completely up to you! I want both you and you fur babies to be as comfortable as possible.
