About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in the household my entire life and know just how much love, attention and activity are important. I’m here to provide for your pet when you need an extra hand. I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.

I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! “Charlotte came in clutch when I booked a couple of days before my trip. She was friendly and trustworthy. I only have cats and they don’t need any care other than attention, since their food and litter are automatic. It’s possible that this led Charlotte to think I didn’t want updates about the cats. Day 1 of 2 I reached out to check in and I heard from Charlotte that Meatloaf did not respond well to her the first visit—hissed but did not become aggressive—but that he warmed up to her on visit 2. Definitely will set up introductory visits each time which I have learned will avoid this issue. Charlotte stopped responding after the first day, so I have no way of knowing how the second day of visits went. I was pretty worried about whether Meatloaf was mean to her or if the cats were being checked on. I’m not even sure if she saw my shy second cat at all—just any more communication would have been good. I don’t want to tank any ratings if my cats were a problem but I have no idea what happened.”

About: I have own dogs my whole life. I have one Rottweiler and a Yorkie/Minpinch. My Rottweiler is very friendly. They both love people and other dogs. Both of my dogs are very we’ll behaved. They would love to play with your fur babies. Yes I consider my dogs family, and I would treat you dogs as family also. My husband and I live on 5 acres so your dogs will have lots of room to run and will be watched with love,and well taken care of. You will not be disappointed when you pick them up. I love animals and treat other peoples animals like they're my own. We have a fence in area. It's not attached to our home,but it is well shaded with 3 cement stalls where they can go lay down if they wanted too. I also have long training leash so i can play with them since I don't have a fence yet. I used it with my Rottweiler that passed when I lived in apartment up in Michigan. It works great cause its really long so if I needed to step on it I could to stop them. I Iam looking forward to meeting you and and taking care of your fur babies . I am open 7 days a week.Animals are my passion,snd want to do it full time. While I do provide kennels if your pet is nervous or never boarded before id highly suggest bringing their own Kennels. Any damage done to my kennels will encur a fee and no repeat bookings unless the dog comes with anxiety medications upon next booking and you'll be required to provide your own kennels after that.

I have kept dogs for several friends and family members, and have experience in keeping them in my home as well as drop in visits at their homes. My two are kennel trained and are soon to be certified for Canine Good Citizen. I have years of experience with animals of all energy levels and will cater accordingly. A trust and bond with any animal is very important to me.
About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Now in more recent years I've dog sat and currently work for a boarding business. I have been there a full year now and I love it. It is part time hours and would like something extra that still involves animals. Dog walks and care are not a problem for me. I would love to help anyone with their precious pups. I'm also trying to advance in trade skills and become a dog trainer.
About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, we’ve had pets ranging from geckos to bunnies and your typical dogs and cats! I currently have an older pit mix. I have experience with puppies/kittens and seniors as wells as administering medications. I’m currently a stay at home mom so my time is pretty open at the moment! Drop in visits are the easiest for me right now as I will not be able to provide boarding or stay in home. I will respect and follow all directions when it comes to your pet in their own home, whether that be crating or free roam. I leave that completely up to you! I want both you and you fur babies to be as comfortable as possible.
About: I have owned dogs my entire life and been a house/dog sitter for 10 years. I’m currently a dog foster mama and have two of my own dogs. We live on about 3 acres of land so the dogs have plenty of room to run and play! My dogs are apart of our family so your dogs will become part of our family too! Can issue any type of medication as well. High experience, Iv had all sorts of different breeds through fostering! I work full time but I work completely from home M-F. Your pet would rarely be alone and if they were, it would be an hour max. I don’t have a fenced yard but will happily walk your dog on a leash or off leash if completely trained. I have two fur babies of my own who love to run and play with other dogs!

I love to play, walk, bathe, swim, and do pretty much whatever it is your animal needs. I am comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds. If needed, I can administer medicines. I plan my errands and social stuff around animals being let out, fed, and comfortable, so adding your pets into that rhythm feels really natural for me. When I’m in a pet’s home, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible – same feeding schedule, walk times, and sleeping spots. I do regular check-ins for food, water, potty breaks, and meds if needed, and I always build in playtime and cuddles so they’re not just ‘being watched,’ they’re actually getting attention. I keep the home tidy, follow any house rules you leave, and send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.

About: I have had cats and dogs as long as I can remember. One thing I hear regularly when meeting dogs and cats is “wow, (s)he’s never like this with anyone!” I currently have two rescues, one of which is a senior dog, and I am very familiar with the extra care needed for meds administration, incontinence, and difficulty walking. I have no issue with shy, loud, roughhousing, and unsocialized dogs, and I’ll never pass up an opportunity to love on any pet no matter the size, personality, or energy level. I am a stay-at-home dad looking for supplemental income, as well as an excuse to meet and play with more dogs & cats. Aside from school pickup & drop-off, and church Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings and occasionally Thursday evenings, I have friends and family to help with my own obligations to ensure I can accommodate any level of care you may require. I have two bigger dogs, one of which is a senior, who are either playing in the yard or napping on the couch most of the day. I value routines in a pet’s life, as well as manners when around one who doesn’t know me very well. I give lots of pets and reassurance to my own dogs, and I plan on doing the same with yours unless you specify otherwise. I value obedience training and stimulation/exercise for dogs as a way to combat anxiety from their owners being away. I’ll never do anything that goes against any of your instructions, as I myself have a hard time trusting others with my own pets.
