We’re so grateful for her animal loving heart!”

“Julie and Greg provided amazing care for our young high energy hound during his first-ever experience with a sitter. They sent photos and updates every day. Not only did they give him plenty of exercise, play, and affection, they worked with him on some problem behaviors/doggie-manner-deficits during his stay with them. “Fred had a long-term stay with David and his family while we were in the middle of a cross-country move. He had a meow-velous time and was returned to us happy and with new toys. Dave's kids treated him like one of their own and Fred loved his time with them. We were so relieved to have a comfortable, caring home-away-from-home so gave us piece of mind so that we could concentrate on selling our house, packing it up, waiting for the new house, move in and unpack -- a two-month process that avoided a lot of trauma for our cat and worrying for us. So happy that Dave was such a good fit!”

About: I’ve had cats growing up. My current cat was a bottle baby and she is a thriving queen! I am use to indoor, outdoor, and indoor/outdoor cats. I also worked at a pet store that had cats up for adoption and I cared for them as well. I also have experienced cats giving birth so if you have a pregnant cat I am not new to caring for them.

They fill the LOVE tanks without any hidden agendas! We have recently relocated to Durham from Washington and currently have the time to explore the freedom, flexibility and FUN with pet sitting with Rover. We have a big beautiful, fenced back yard to allow the space needed for dogs to roam and a lovely home without carpet. Cozy, warm and safe for your loving pup/dog.

About: For nearly 20 years, caring for animals has been one of my greatest joys. I have 19 years of pet care experience, including 15 years as a devoted cat owner, and currently care for a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit on our peaceful two-acre woodland property. I offer boarding and doggy daycare in a calm, home-based environment where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, new scents to explore, and lots of individual attention. Our chickens are securely fenced in their own area, and our rabbit is safely housed in the garage, allowing visiting pets to relax comfortably in their own space. I understand that every pet is unique. Whether your dog loves adventure and play or prefers a quiet place to nap, I’ll work to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. For cat owners, I also offer home visits so your feline friends can stay happy and stress-free in the comfort of their own home. When your pet stays with me, they’re treated like family—not just a booking. You’ll receive attentive care, regular updates, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing your pet is in experienced, caring hands. Pet care is naturally woven into our daily life. As a homeschooling family, I have the flexibility to provide attentive care, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long stretches. We live on a peaceful two-acre woodland property and maintain a home where animals are loved, respected, and considered part of the family. Caring for animals is already part of our routine, from tending our flock of chickens to caring for our angora rabbit. My wife and I are proud to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment for all families, including LGBTQ+ families, and we strive to create a safe, respectful space for everyone. Our 8½-year-old daughter is a budding farmer and fellow animal lover who has grown up helping care for animals with kindness and respect. Together, we’ve created a home environment where pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and engagement. Because I work from home and homeschool, I’m able to adapt to each pet’s needs and schedule, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and right at home during their stay. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. We have a spacious, open home with no indoor pets, allowing visiting dogs to settle in comfortably and enjoy plenty of personal attention. Our property spans two peaceful wooded acres, providing a calm environment away from busy roads and heavy traffic. Our resident animals—a flock of chickens and an angora rabbit—are securely housed in separate fenced or enclosed areas and do not interact with visiting pets. We also maintain a fenced garden area, helping ensure clear boundaries throughout the property. While our yard is not fully fenced, all outdoor time is carefully supervised. Dogs will be leashed during walks and outdoor adventures, and I closely monitor all activity to ensure their safety. Guests can enjoy plenty of fresh air, woodland strolls, sniffing opportunities, exercise, and enrichment while remaining under attentive supervision. For in-home cat visits, I follow each family’s instructions carefully, maintain your cat’s routine, and ensure your home is left secure after every visit. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I believe safety starts with attentive supervision, clear communication, and treating every animal as if they were my own.
About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We love all animals and will treat them like our own. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. Bailey is friendly as can be, however I know animals can get nervous in new environments. If coming to your residence I will request and do’s or dont’s to ensure your animal is taken care of up to your expectations and above. I am a public school teacher, so I am fortunate enough to have summers off. So my availability is very open even a short notice. Love all animals and will freaky all animals as if they are my own. We would be honored to treat your animal to a nice vacation as you enjoy yours. My wife and I are retired and have a very flexible schedule. We are happy to accommodate any requests or special needs you may have. We cater to each individual animals personality. We try to maintain and provide care as close to wider the animal is used to in a daily basis in order to minimize any stress.
“Was lucky enough to find a family who treated Lily as well as they did. Teresa was always available and when my schedule changed she was accommodating with last minute changes. Lots of outdoor play and she would send me updates throughout her stay. If I am ever in the area again I will 100% look her up to watch Lily.”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Dogs seem to take to me well. I’ve worked as a junior groomer for a few months and trained my own dog. Not professionally, but he listens and understands. I’ve always loved dogs and been an animal person! I have an almost 4 month old baby so I have been a SAHM. I love to work and would like to help my family more. This way I can be at home loving on my son and also your fur babies! We just moved into our forever home due to my husband being retired Navy. We got married in Hawaii where he was stationed and I grew up. Our neighborhood was military and I would watch peoples dogs, board, check ins, walks. I worked at a doggie daycare and became close with a client who would bring her dog over to me to watch instead. Also, became very close with some people in the neighborhood whom I’ve take care of their dogs and now can say are friends like family!
About: I’ve always been an animal lover. I grew up with dogs: German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, Labs, and Dachshunds. Being observant and responding quickly and naturally to a dog’s body language has served me well. I’m able to read their behavior and learn their habits, which helps them get comfortable around me and know I’m someone they can trust. I’m eager to share my life with pups in need of a supportive, caring environment while their parents are away. I’m flexible, prompt, and highly communicative. More importantly, your dog’s wellbeing is my top priority. I know that owners can get busy, so every stay with me entails all the cuddles, treats, and playtime your pup desires! It’s a win-win-win situation, and you’ll get lots of photos and texts so you can take a peek at what we’re up to. You have nothing to worry about while your dog is in my care, so you and your pup both get a great vacation. I work with small to large size dogs, and can host more than one at a time. I also have experience administering medication. I have a very sweet dog named Haddie, a golden doodle, along with a cat, Cinder. When we do our meet-and-greet, Haddie, Cinder and I will get to know your dog, and you and I can go over anything and everything that’s relevant to ensuring a successful stay! I currently work from home, so I will have plenty of time to play and lounge with your pup! I love any excuse to get outside or take your dog for a car ride. I have a fenced in backyard, along with a dog park close by, for your dog to get lots of outdoor time and space. Haddie and Cinder, my dog and cat, are also here to keep your pup company. I can also crate your dog if that is a part of their regular routine.
“Alaina and Nick were wonderful! My pup stayed one day during the day while I visited a friend nearby. He had a great time and was very well cared for. Communication was great before, during, and after his stay. 10/10 would trust Alaina and Nick to watch him again.”

“Taco loves to go to Laura’s house, every time we start to round the corner to her house, he starts to get excited and can’t wait to get there and play with Marley! He always comes home tuckered out and happy!”

About: I have cared for dogs of all different ages and breeds from senior Italian Greyhounds to Leonberger puppies. Safety and comfort are my top priorities for pups and I believe every dog needs his or her special time to just be a dog during the day. I have a lot of free time to dedicate to your pup! I am experienced with administering medicine to older dogs/dogs with anxiety. I also have the energy and patience for younger dogs, and am able to walk multiple dogs at a time, if it is needed. I’m available for walks and overnight stays. I have reliable transportation for doggy day adventures! I look forward to hearing from you. Please feel free to ask my any questions you may have. I currently have open availability and am looking forward to meeting new doggo friends for day care, overnight care, walks, and drop-ins. I can't wait to meet your furry family member! When I'm dog-sitting or walking, I am happily and fully committed to your pup. No dog is the same, just as no person is the same. Each family has its own culture and needs. I want your animal friend to be as comfortable as possible, so I will follow any routines or dreams you have for them.

About: I’m a licensed attorney and an animal lover at heart. I grew up surrounded by animals, in a home with a dog and four cats. I frequently care for my neighbor and friends’ pets when they are out of town, and have two cats of my own. I also have 3 years of volunteer experience at a no-kill animal shelter, and am comfortable giving medications and handling any special health or behavioral needs. I have experience caring for dogs that require frequent potty breaks due to age or medical condition; as well as those with Arthritis, recovering injuries, or other mobility concerns. Similarly, I have cared for cats of all ages and temperaments, including those with medical vulnerabilities (seizures, kidney disease, cancer, incontinence issues). I have also worked with former ferals, and am happy to care for those who may be especially shy or anxious around unfamiliar faces and disrupted routines. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust look after your pet. I value reliability and communication, and strive to provide the upmost care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work fully remote, so I have plenty of flexibility when caring for your pets. I update my calendar frequently, and am happy to work with your schedule. I’ll check in after each drop-in session with plenty of photos of your pet and a rundown on the visit. I typically provide two updates mid-morning and evening each day while house sitting. I always include detailed information about your pet’s activity and behavior, along with lots of photos and videos documenting the day. However, I am happy to provide updates at your preferred frequency. I am always available and responsive during visits should you have any questions or requests.

“So professional and helpful!! Highly recommend! David really went above and beyond, taking JuneBug on a nice long walk down along the river, and including lots of photos of her smiling face.”

“This is our first time using Ashley to let our dog out in the middle of the day. She is fantastic! Our dog is weary of strangers and Ashley handled the situation really well- she went at his pace and spent some extra time with him. She sent a lot of photos and a detailed description of her time with Rowan. I would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.
About: Hey dog pawmily! I’m Hadassah! I’ve honestly been caring for animals since I was a child and have experience with a wide variety of pets including multiple dogs, four cats, a bunny, fish, and three parakeets. Caring for so many different animals has truly taught me patience, responsibility, and truly how to meet each pet’s unique needs. I have and solely take care of my one dog, Diogee, who is a 3 year old Maltese-Shitzu mix and enjoys meeting new friends. Having my dog, Diogee, by my side throughout my transition as a transfer student in my senior year at UNC chapel hill has shown me just how important pets are to our lives. Hopefully your dog will either have the opportunity to meet/walk/play with me (yay!) or stay in my safe HOA home located in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with great walking areas and a new dog park currently being built nearby. I, Hadassah, can assure you that when your dog is cared for by me, they’ll be treated with the same care and patience that I give my own. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I care for my own dog, Diogee, every day. 🐶 I'm available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and boarding depending on availability. In my home, pets will receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh cool water, meals according to their schedule, and a safe, pet-friendly environment. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings and maintain their normal routine.
“Ashlee did a great job helping to wear out out dog during the day. She arrived when expected and always sent a picture from the walk. And she was flexible with the number and duration of the walks needed. I'll be happy to have her help out in the future.”

About: Hi there! My name is Hayley and I have an extreme love and passion for ALL animals! Since I was a baby and got my first cat at 6 weeks old, I have grown up in a household full of animals with everything from cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, you name it, and those animals have taught me so much, enough that I want to give back to the local community and their animals! My specialties are with cats and dogs of any age, though if you have another animal in need of service, I am open to anything and ready to learn! Currently, I have two dogs (Jack Russells who are 2 and 8 yrs old) of my own that I have raised since they were both 8 weeks old. I have knowledge in feeding, medication management, daily exercise, enrichment activities such as tricks, routine care (bathing animals), hygiene maintenance, potty training, and as always, I strive to have strong, reliable communication with owners of your furry friends! I specialize in cats and dogs BUT if you are need of services for another animal, please dont hesitate to reach out as I am willing to help, learn whatever I need to, and give some extra love to your pet! AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th. Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ Mon-Sun: 8am-2:30pm (schedule varies but I will try my best to work something out with you!!) Meet and Greets: Scheduled meetings BEFORE desired sitting dates; I come to your home to get to know you, your fur babies, and the required schedule/rules. (I leave this up to the client's preference but I usually recommend it!) (CAN provide services before/after hours when requested!!) *AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th.* Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ As I previously mentioned, I have two dogs (both Jack Russells) of my own that are 2 and 8 years old. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.
“Alysha fulfilled my same-day request and their communication put my mind totally at ease. I appreciate her punctuality and promptness, and am grateful she could visit my boy at home when I couldn’t. Thanks, Alysha! 🐾”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and have experience caring for both big dogs, small dogs, and cats. Back home in Tennessee, I have 2 Yorkies and a Goldendoodle, and I’ve also helped neighbors, friends, and family care for their pets over the years. I’m patient, dependable, and love making pets feel comfortable and cared for. I currently have a very flexible schedule that allows me to work around your pet’s specific needs and routine. I typically work mornings during the week and am usually home by mid afternoon, but I can adjust my schedule as needed for walks, potty breaks, feedings, playtime, and medication schedules. I make it a priority to give pets plenty of attention, consistency, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I always do my best to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while in my care. I pay close attention to each pet’s normal routine, energy level, feeding schedule, and any special instructions so they can stay as stress free as possible. I’m experienced with walks, potty breaks, playtime, crating if needed, and giving pets space when they need it. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pets are being well cared for.

“I was able to fully enjoy my vacation while David watched my dog! He told me I could send a message asking what they were up to and he would reply and send some pictures! Knowing my dog was safe and having fun allowed me to have an amazing trip! You can tell David is a true dog person and really likes what he does!”

“Katrin was AMAZING! My husband and I are so anxious leaving our dogs and katrin put our minds at ease immediately. From the moment we arrived, the dogs were clearly comfortable and in great hands. She shared regular updates and pictures, administered our senior dog’s medication, and went the extra mile in every possible way to make sure our pups felt right at home. We’re so grateful for her animal loving heart!”

“Bryan took excellent care of our 5 month old puppy. He sent daily photos which I really appreciated. After 2 1/2 weeks, we picked up our puppy and she was content and happy. Bryan obviously understands dogs and treated her very well. Without hesitation, we would certainly use him again!”

“Camila and Lino took excellent care of my pup. They sent pictures and videos and I could see how much fun he was having every day. Will definitely board my dog with them again!”

“Romel took great care of Beethoven while I was out of town for a week. I have never come back to Beethoven more calm and less concerned that I had been gone for a full week! It almost seemed like he wanted to stay at their house 😅 Great communication, regular exercise, and Beethoven loved spending time with their two dogs. Thank you very much Romel and Carolina!”

“Krystene and her family were great! They took such great care of our dog while we were away. I got regular updates and photos. I would absolutely book with Krystene again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter!”

“Emily was so great with Fury! She sent lots of photos and video and I could tell that Fury got plenty of outside time, which he loves. He even got to play with puppies when he was there - he came home exhausted! Would absolutely rebook!”

“Nova had a great time with Shawn and Charles! Their backyard was perfect for her to get out all of her energy with a chuck-it, and there were large windows to lazily gaze out while relaxing around. They went above and beyond for Nova’s water-dog tendencies by allowing her to splash in the bath after getting hot. She also came home with some homemade treats! 🥰”

“I’m so glad I found Lauren! She is very easy to work with, has a fantastic set up (with a huge fenced-in yard), and understands and loves dogs. I’ve already recommended her to two friends.”

“Cathy was awesome, and our dog had a blast staying with her. She made sure our dog felt comfortable, ate well, and played every day. I would definitely choose her again.”

“Chewy enjoyed her stay and came home exhausted from all her fun! Chewy felt at home and comfortable and I felt very comfortable leaving her with this family in a great home. They are very communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates. This will be my go to sitter whenever I travel.”

“Denetra was wonderful and it was a smooth & easy process from the initial meet & greet throughout the entire stay. She was responsive and provided daily updates. I found her in a pinch ahead of the July 4th weekend. She was a life saver and Duke seemed to settle in with her immediately! #dogwhisperer”

I could not recommend more highly.”

“Vanessa has taken care of our dog multiple times over the past few months, and she has been amazing each time! She consistently keeps us updated with photos and goes the extra mile to make sure Ellie feels comfortable. We highly recommend Vanessa’s services!”

“Everything about boarding with Evan was stellar. Great responsiveness, listened to all my instructions, inviting at dropoff. The farm is perfect for dogs! tons of fenced in room to roam. Lumi came home super zen and well exercised. Would recommend!”

“Evie & Fritz were so amazing with Lola. They sent me photos throughout each day and gave me updates on how she was doing! She got to play with lots of other dogs who were in doggy daycare with them and snuggled up with them at night! I felt so good knowing my girl was being so loved and well cared for! You guys are the best!!”
