With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town. “Myra and Rick are the sweetest people ever. Sheba my shepherd mix had stayed at a kennel last year and was so nervous she didnt eat the entire 7 days we were gone. Bella my pomeranian has never stayed with anyone but my brother in law due to health problems and needing to be hand fed due to her health issue. So needless to say both my girls are a little high maintenance. The girls and I met with Myra and Rick before their stay and it was like they had know each other for years. We went over everything about the girls from their quirks to their specials needs. Myra kept me updated on the girls while they were there and sent me pictures. I have no idea how she got my big dog to stay still but she was able to get the most beautiful picture of her to send me. Both girls seemed to really enjoy their stay. I think they are already missing Myra and Rick. We will be seeing them again soon.”

“I can't say enough positive things about my and my pup's experience with Brad. 1. Booking/Communication - From the initial booking, Brad was communicative and responsive ensuring that I would feel comfortable even before I dropped my pup off. 2. Drop off - At drop-off, Brad was extremely attentive to understand the unique needs of my pup especially as it pertained to his medication. In my moving around, I forgot to bring something my pup needed. Brad was extremely helpful in getting it resolved so that my pup's stay would be just fine. Additionally, Brad went out of his way to ask how, and what frequency, I wanted to be updated on my pup's stay. 3. Stay - My pup had a fantastic time staying with Brad and having pup siblings at Brad's house. I'm confident of this not only because, true to his word, Brad was not only communicative about what was going on each day (for the entire ~3wk stay), but he also sent pictures and videos with funny notes! I could see that my dog was active not only outside but inside the home, was playing well with the other dogs, and was being loved and snuggled daily. 4. Pick-up - The day of pick-up, my flight was delayed impacting my ability to pick-up my pup on time. Brad was completely understanding and was communicative to ensure that I had no worries. When I arrived to pick up my pup, all of the things I sent with my pup came home in great condition AND Brad sent me home with a treat that he had graciously been giving my pup as well! I could tell my pup was excited to go home but was sad to leave Brad and his new friends! Overall, we will DEFINITELY use Brad again and recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone to treat their pup like family when they have to go away. Thanks again, Brad!”

About: I’ve loved cats for as long as I can remember and have cared for them my entire life. Growing up, I was always the person who would help take care of cats I found outside by feeding them and making sure they were safe, and that love for cats has continued into adulthood. About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) We have two friendly, large dogs, Tennessee & Tucky who have been foster brothers to over 75 dogs of all sizes and ages. About: Because I work remotely, pets are rarely left alone for long periods of time. I have hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and energy levels... from a senior dog who became blind and deaf, which taught me patience and gentle, consistent care, to my current puppy, where I focus on training, routine, exercise, and positive reinforcement for high-energy needs. About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.
About: I have 2 dogs of my own currently one is 8 and one is 10. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.

On weekends, I’m usually at a dog sport trial or competition, or enjoying outdoor activities like hiking and swimming with my pets, or simply relaxing and bonding with them. About: I have always grown up with dogs and have loved having them in my life. I just moved to the area and adopted a dog myself. I’d love to love on your dogs and give them all the care they need and deserve! I work an 8-5 job Monday through Friday but am remote 2 days a week, off on the weekends, and am free after work. The weekends is when I am the most available, so if your pet needs some extra love I can be there longer on weekends! However, if you just need someone to walk your pup or do a quick check in, I can be there any day. Within your home, I can take care of your pup however you need! About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Fur babies have a special place in my heart and I will take the best of care of any kind of fur baby. I currently have a two golden doodles(<1), an Australian Shepard(2), miniature Aussie(12) and a cat(13) I rescued from the humane society. I currently work 3 days a week and attend college.
