About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. About: It has been a dream of mine to be a veterinarian since I was a little girl, so pet sitting has given me more opportunities to take care of animals of kinds. About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Fur babies have a special place in my heart and I will take the best of care of any kind of fur baby. I currently have a two golden doodles(<1), an Australian Shepard(2), miniature Aussie(12) and a cat(13) I rescued from the humane society. I currently work 3 days a week and attend college. About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am currently job searching, so I will be free almost every weekday with exception for surprise obligations that my family often come to me with. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs (and have owned them) since the age of 10… I’ve helped many friends, family, neighbors and more with a variety of services. Anything from walking, feeding, sitter, boarding, etc. I can help with whatever you need! I’m a teacher and coach so I work from 7am-5pm, weekdays. About: I have been dog sitting for awhile, I also used to work part time at a boarding facility, but decided to start Rover and have my own clientele. i’ve had all different types of animals all my life and i have had all of my dogs trained inside and outside.
