“Addie is a Cairn/Westie mix who hasn't always been sure of how she feels about other pets. Because of that, we went to meet Ryan and her crew before we signed up with her. Addie LOVED her miniature zoo with cats and a dog, some bunnies, and a parrot! She came home from her stay very happy (and exhausted). She'd eaten all her food (which means she wasn't nervous) and Ryan had given her her dental chews and rawhide treats, so she was well and truly cared for. She had a ball! What more can you ask??? About: I have taken care of everything you can think of, it began when I was 9 years old. My family moved on a horse farm, where we took care of 13 horses everyday. After that my family ran a dog kennel with a capacity of 65 dogs, did that for about 4 years. I decided to branch out and start working for myself. I have pet sat for some years now during that, I have cared for live stock, birds, turtles, fish. I currently work weekends, between 8am-2pm. Unfortunately animals don’t talk so I got a part time job to get out of the house and socialize. I have a fenced in year, plenty of toys, a couple crates, definitely lots of bowls. Some dog beds, along with some blankets. Anything your animal may want I try to have. Of course bring anything that you think would help your doggie adjust.

About: Growing up with cats, I knew I wanted to be a dog person. I have rescued two dogs, both of which like to shadow us. I work from home next to an open doggy door all day. Our guests have access to a large fenced in yard, the opportunity to have some quiet time if they need it, and endless toys and bones to play with. Kyle and I are available often; the only restrictions we have include traveling that we do a handful of times throughout the year. When we aren’t traveling or working, Kyle likes to fish and I am focused on my art which takes place in my home. We have very few restrictions in our house when it comes to the dogs. (I think our only restriction is to table food, they don’t get any.) They have free rein of our large, fenced in back yard. If a dog needs their space, they go to another floor. I have a door that separates upstairs and down with comfortable areas in both locations for them to be alone with toys, bones, dog beds, and human furniture with full and easy access to all. If I am downstairs (in my studio) they will be with me. From my studio, they have direct access to the backyard via doggy door which is almost always open.

About: My name is Mac Graf and my husband and I live right outside Hendersonville, NC. I am a certified and licensed athletic trainer and am the Director of Sports Medicine as my full-time job. I work 90% of my job from home, and would love to help take the stress off your work day by allowing your fur family to hangout with me and my family for the day. I take my work seriously whether that be with my patients or with my fur friends. I fostered dogs throughout undergrad to give me more experience and make a change in an animal's life. I ended up adopting one of my foster dogs in 2020 and it was the best decision i've ever made! I rescued another dog in February of 2023, so I have lots of personal dog experience. I understand that having a dog is not just having a pet, but it is another family member. I treat them as such. With my experience as a foster, and being a pet owner myself - I know that I am responsible and loving towards all animals. I would love nothing more than to help take the stress off other dog owners, and help take care of them when needed. Since my job is 90% remote work, I have the flexibility to take my dogs on a walk or play outside in the fenced in area of our home multiple times a day. Throughout the work day they go outside multiple times - usually with a longer walk at the end of my work day. I ask the person I am dog sitting for what they want, and I always accommodate to whatever makes my client feel most comfortable with! We have two baby gates at home, so if we ever need to separate dogs in our home, we have the ability to do so. I always will be respectful of my clients and whatever their wishes are.

“Laura took such good care of our dog during our trip! She sent daily pictures and updates which helped us feel at ease. She has a great yard for dogs to run around and our dog had the best time! We will definitely be using her again in the future!”
“We had our 8mo Chihuahua mix pup, Zelda, stay with Julie while we were out of the country & we won't use anyone else in the future. We hadn't left our pup with anyone yet & Julie graciously hosted a meet & greet in her home so I could see where she'd be staying. From the moment Julie sat on the floor to meet my timid pup where she was at, I knew that she understood exactly what dogs needed. The drop off before our trip was a breeze, as she had Zelda engaged in play & we just slipped out quietly. Julie was very communicative, kept us up to date on the adventures they were having & sent us lots of pics of our sweet little lady throughout each day. It was awesome to see Zelda having so much fun & being loved on, just as much we do. We had a bit of trouble with delayed flights coming back to the US, & Julie had no problem being flexible with keeping Zelda another day. Julie is one of the most kind & thoughtful humans. She put papertowels in between the food dishes when she packed everything up & put a note to remind us the peanut butter was in the bag so we didn't leave it out of the fridge too long after the days of travel we had. She snuck a welcome home card in, too. There are so many examples I could give of the type of caretaker & human Julie is, but the fact that I never worried once about Zelda while we were gone really says it all (I admittedly am an anxious control freak of a pet parent). I know Zelda loves her just as much as we do because she greeted us with barks & hackles up until she realized we were her long lost parents. 😆”

He was exhausted from all the extra activity he isn’t used to, but I’m so glad he got lots of time outside, attention and a safe place to stay. Last time she was there she didn’t want to leave! She stayed by the front door and wouldn’t budge as we coaxed her into the car. It is easy leaving town knowing she is well cared for.”
