“My dog Taddy needed a sitter short notice for 2 weeks, when our previously scheduled sitter had to cancel due to a family emergency. Julia was fortunately available and very attentive to Taddy's issues (with him being an anxious rescue dog, with arthritis, reactivity towards other dogs, etc.). She also didn't take on another client during the 2 weeks because of Taddy's issues with other dogs. We got a picture and an update every 2-3 days while we were away. Taddy looked very comfortable and at home in the pictures. Our flight back was delayed, and we picked up Taddy close to midnight, much later than planned. Julia was v cooperative and flexible with our delay which we really appreciated.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. I am very quick to respond to messages!

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs, my own dogs since I was 10 years old. We’ve always had a dog in our home. Up to getting my own puppies and training them. I am a stay at home mom of 3 kiddos and we’re home a lot. We love to be outdoors and playing outside. We’d have no problem letting your dog out or playing with them. About: I received my first puppy at 14, trained 4 dogs- all from different breeds and sizes. I say 20 years experience because I have always had a love for dogs and enjoy them at every age. I have walked, fed, bathed, house-sat, and loved & cuddled on those fur-babies! Friends, family members, co-workers, friends of family, you name it, I’ve cared for their animals. I have worked with fish, geckos, small rodents, cats and dogs. Administered medication as needed. And given as much love as they let me! I am late to bed and early to rise which is helpful for tricky schedules. I walk my dog several times a day and we play as much as her little legs can handle, so I definitely have to energy to spend. I do not have any scheduled trip for this summer or so far for fall. My schedule currently involves playing favorite Aunt on occasion to pick up and drop off kiddos. Otherwise you can find me doing a puzzle or working on a project at home. I currently only have one dog, a chihuahua- Queen of my fenced in yard. She has a feeding schedule of twice a day. We use specific words- “cookie” for instance instead of treat. That would be something to learn as all families are different with terminologies. Multiple walks a day or just playtime if we’re not feeling like stretching the little legs. My dog has care at my home if I would be caring for pets at their homes. We enjoy cooking dinner every night (she watches me cook) and snuggles with a good episode on HGTV in bed.

She also didn't take on another client during the 2 weeks because of Taddy's issues with other dogs. We got a picture and an update every 2-3 days while we were away. Taddy looked very comfortable and at home in the pictures. Our flight back was delayed, and we picked up Taddy close to midnight, much later than planned. Julia was v cooperative and flexible with our delay which we really appreciated.”

“I recently did a long-term boarding stay with Jennifer (2 weeks) and I can’t say enough great things about her! The week before I left on my trip, my dog was experiencing some unforeseen skin problems that were going to require close monitoring and wound care that my regular dogsitters would not be able to provide. “Lucy was great! She had a crate available, so we just provided a bed and our dog's food. Lucy provided us updates everyday, as well as videos of our dog during her stay. About: I have regularly fostered dogs for the past five years and have worked with over 75 dogs and counting. I have so loved this experience meeting new friends of all breeds, needs, shapes and sizes and would love to meet your pup as well! I have even had the experience and privilege of taking puppies numerous times to the nursing home to meet with residents there, bringing with them their puppy joy and cheer. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help! Our family follows the school schedule during the week day, leaving at 8:15 and arriving home around 3:30pm. If needed, I can allow for one bathroom break mid day. There is a room officially dedicated in our house to the animals that I watch and foster. They would have this room all to themselves for when they come stay (no need to share with other pets!). There are pee pads and litter boxes also available if needed. Please see pictures of the room located under the sitter profile. I also have a crate available and an x pen if your furry friend prefers that. I have a fenced in front and back yard that has been visited and approved by the Humane Society.
