About: While I own a cat of my own, I also have experience with caring for cats during my time at CARE STL. After moving from the dog house to the adoption center, I was responsible for cleaning the cat rooms and kennels, feeding and refilling water bowls, and performing in-takes (vaccines, chipping, etc.) Along with dog-sitting, I have also taken care of cats from many families, including one for two weeks. For the past year I have taken care of 2 other dogs and the best quality that I have is I am flexible and will do last minute tasks for the clients I have. I don't believe in keeping a pet caged up all day because they are like humans they need to eat, be walked and given attention. I will give update on how your pet is doing. If you need to have your patience go to the Vet or groomers I will pick up the pet and taken him or her to their appointment. If any medication is needed I will make sure they get it. About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. About: Hello! I'm Karissa, and I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my parents ran a pet shop, so I had the pleasure of being surrounded by all sorts of critters. Because of this upbringing, I've had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, getting to know their unique needs and keeping them healthy and happy. In my own little family, we currently have three sweet cats and a playful puppy who's just six months old. We live in the lovely countryside near Festus, with a whole acre of land securely fenced for our furry pals to explore. We even have a pool, and you can trust us when we say we take pool safety seriously! We love a good game of fetch or tug of war and have been really getting into positive reinforcement training. About: My friends tell me that I am an animal whisperer haha! I love the company of an animal and giving it all of my love! I used to have a dog of my own, we were best friends, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. I’m not at the best spot in my life to have my own pet again so I wanted to find a way to still love on animals and have their presence! I currently have a full time job in St. Louis. I am available to WFH if I need to watch your pet(s) during the week!! More than happy to do so :) We have a very large yard/field behind my home but it is not fenced. About: I have taken care of dogs for the past ten years. I extremely care about a dogs wellbeing and happyness. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as my own dog requries daily medication. I also have experience wiping out and flushing a dogs ears, as my dog needs daily ear wipes. I am also more than willing to bathe and brush their coats. I also have experience with older dogs and am more than willing to provide assistance. I am currently a full time student, with an on campus job. But I have built in a mid-day break, of whihc will allow me to stop by and say hi to your furry friend. Additionally, my classes do not start until 9-9:30 AM, which will allow me to stop by in the mornings, if desired. My work day/ classes end around 5 PM each day, which will allow me to have plenty of time in the evenings to spend with your pet. I also have every Friday off, which will allow me to spend time with your pet! When I visit a clients home, will always make sure that their pet has enough water, and food. I will also ensure that any doors or gates (that are specified) are closed or open for their convenience and safety. Additionally, if I notice that the pet has gotten sick or made a mess, I will always clean it up with pet safe cleaners. I will also investigate and try to find out what caused them to get sick or make a mess. I will also record it and notify their owner of the occurance.
About: From personal experience, I have had a dog for about 8 years now. Full pit bull and I love him dearly. I only have one, but am thinking about another. With new dogs I don’t know I am always gentle to start until they get to know me. I’m currently working part-time at Sarah’s on Central and typically work Thursday-Sunday. Starting in August I will be attending Maryville University as well. In my home, I only have one dog who honestly does get spoiled to death but he loves it that way. If I’m home all day I will take him out every 2-3 hours just to make sure he is all good and everything and if able will go with your dog as well unless less time is needed.

About: I got my first dog when I was three and have always had 5+ animals in the house. I am good with any breed of dog. I have some puppy training experience and I can also work with disability animals. I just need to know if they have medication and the time to take them or other accommodations that they might need. I’m not sure if people have reptiles that need sitting but I’m good with those too. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with puppies or any other animals.
