About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. Many of my closest friendships were built around our shared love of dogs, and we’ve regularly helped care for each other’s pets over the years. About: Hi there, I'm Lindsay! I love animals and have always made them a huge part of my life. I currently own 2 cats, and I live with another cat and young dog. I love playing with dogs and teaching them new tricks - no matter if they are lazy or stubborn. About: I do not have any special skills. But I am definitely responsible when it comes to taking care of people's dogs. I have taken care of my family's dogs when they went away on vacations. I can walk or be a sitter every other Tuesday because that is my day off from my full time job. I can start after 11am. I can watch dogs in your home but prefer not to bring them to my home. Meet and greets are free unless you need more than one before the stay, then the first meet and greet is free. I'm also experienced in multi-pet homes where one or more pets are seniors/special needs and other pets are high energy or puppies/kittens. I have experience caring for pets who are recovering from operations as well. If your pet does need Constant care, we can negotiate a price that works for you. I've always had pets. I have always had cats, dogs, guinnea pigs, or ferrets. I'm versed in many kinds of animals and am happy to care additional small animals if needed. Short notice is ok as long as there are at least 2 days between the time I'm asked and the time of the stay so that there's time for a meet and greet. For repeat customers, I accept even same-day requests. I work 8 hours, 4 days a week. Since we do petsitting together, if there is a need for constant care, one of us will always be present in the home with your pet. Safety is my #1 priority when caring for your pets. I make sure to watch pets attentively on walks and in the yard to ensure maximum safety. My services include grabbing mail and packages, watering plants, giving medications as instructed, daily walks as instructed, basic cleaning up after myself and your pets, daily updates and pictures, and following your regular schedule as closely as possible to ensure as seamless a change as possible while you get to experience a worry-free time away.
About: I have had dogs of all sizes since I was born, as well as cats. I have dog sat bigger and smaller dogs. I had to train my own puppy and take care of her in her senior years, as well as my other dog when he became older. I am well-versed with all dogs and cats and have no issues with any of them. I currently have a high energy four year old dog who requires lots of enrichment and attention, but have had very low energy dogs as well. I have a pit mix who we fostered but she became a foster fail and a part of our family. She was neglected and needed lots of medical attention and work. I also have a cat who is very needy and kind of mean, so I am fine with any temperament. I have 2 Guinea pigs that reside in my bedroom as well. I am open to all animals. I work in home varied times M-F with children diagnosed with autism. I am also in school for my MS but this is online, so I can do this remotely. I have my own pets as well, but live with someone who can care for my own. I can stay with your pets if they are okay for the hours I am gone for work! I am dedicated to loving animals but also love my job (which is a new position). I have some frequent clients, and can offer testimonials from them even since I’ve started my job! My animals are my life & I go home typically every day even if I’m dog sitting at a different location just to check in. I will take care of your pet(s) in whatever way is needed in your home. I can crate them, walk them, anything they are used to in their daily lives.

This offers your pups a secure, private environment where they can run, play, and explore safely—a rare find in many parts of the city! While I am currently a "cat dad" to my 8-year-old resident cat, I have been a lifelong dog owner. From my earliest childhood memories until earlier this year, dogs have always been a central part of my home and heart. This lifelong experience means I am deeply familiar with canine behavior, exercise needs, and the unique companionship they provide. I am an expert at managed, slow introductions to ensure that my senior cat and your pups coexist peacefully and safely. Daily Care: As a high school science teacher, I am currently on summer break and have transitioned into "full-time pet care" mode! My schedule is wide open from late May through mid-August, meaning I am home throughout the day to provide frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, and plenty of companionship. Weekly Availability: I offer a rotating schedule for boarding. My calendar is always kept up-to-date, so you can easily see which days I am open for overnight stays or daycare only. Consistency: Because I am not balancing an office job during the summer, I can strictly adhere to whatever feeding, medication, or exercise schedule your pet requires. I pay close attention to details—from a dog’s body language and energy levels to their specific feeding and medication schedules. My goal is to create a predictable, low-stress environment where your pet feels like a member of the family. I have a fully (6 foot tall) fenced-in backyard where dogs can play safely. I always supervise yard time to ensure no "great escapes" or unwanted digging. I also always clean up after bathroom breaks in my yard. I use baby gates and separate "safe zones" to ensure my cat and your pups coexist peacefully. I worked for a vet clinic many years ago but still remember some emergency techniques. I can send daily photos and keep your vet's information at hand. It's also good for me to know more about your pet as in: Does your pet have any "triggers" (squirrels, mailmen, other dogs)? Are there any "off-limits" pieces of furniture or rooms? What is their favorite way to be comforted if they get homesick? Etc.
