About: I am a Retired Veterinary Technician. I have owned cats for 30 years. I can care for those with special needs. I have a large fenced in yard for those that like a bit of outdoor time. I have spacious rooms with large windows if that's what your kitty prefers. A clean and safe environment with lots of attention. I have been trusted to enter my neighbors' homes and care for their furry family members. Whether daily or while you take a much needed vacation.
“Emily was so incredible watching my 3 cats. My cats are a little high maintenance with prescription foods and feeding separately, but she handled it perfectly. She was so responsive and the line of communication was always open. I also will add that I’ve used Rover MANY times and she sent the best photos I’ve ever received back. It was so nice to have her watching and caring for my babies. Plus when I got home from the visit my place was clean and better than I had left it. Emily is wonderful and I will for sure be using her again. 10/10.”
“Kris did an awesome job taking care of my kitties! She came for two meet and greets to make sure they were comfortable with her and to make sure she understood how to administer their medications. She was on time each drop in and was able to get both cats their medications each time. One of my cats is very shy and nervous so it was a big relief to know she was able to handle him. She was great with sending updates with photos as well! My kitties were in good hands and we would definitely hire Kris again!”

About: I have had a lot of pets currently I have two cats and a snake. In the past I have lived in households with dogs who have been left in my care for extended periods of time. I also have some experience with dog training. I do currently have a full-time job, however I work afternoons/nights so I am available before work as well as my days off, I have a set schedule so I am always available the same days. I have never lived in a house without any pets, so I am very confident reading body language to make sure animals are comfortable with me

“Whitney was so helpful and responsive! I felt so comforted knowing my cats were in good hands while I was out of town. She did a great job of keeping me in the loop and sending lots of photos. The experience was fantastic!”

About: Hi! I’m Danielle, and I’d love to care for your cat while you’re away. I’m a millennial, born and raised in Florida, but I’ve lived in Minnesota for a decade. I’m a devoted cat owner to my sweet boy, Maverick, for over 10 years. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to take care of your kitty. I am very gentle, kind, and great with cats of all breeds! I provide calm and attentive care while following your instructions closely. During each visit I’ll provide fresh food, water, clean the litter box, offer playtime, and companionship.

“Corey and Mia were incredible. My cat is so-so about so many people, but they had the magic touch. I got updates everyday with photos and updates on what they were doing, although I never doubted that they were taking care of him. I felt more peace of mind leaving Stanley with Corey and Mia than I have felt even leaving him with my friends. I will certainly be bringing Stanley back, and could not recommend them more!”

About: Ever since I was little, my family has had many pets and cats either in the house, or at the neighbors/friends' homes, that I have always been drawn to. I am very caring, loving of Animals and everything! We always were helping with socializing, playing with them and bonding with them. since after about high school on, I have helped with pet cats in my family and at my friends' houses with Pet sitting, then since 1993, having my own cats with my husband. I have also helped with our no kill rescue shelter on the cat end for about 7 years, and also with a good friend who was one of our Foster Mamma's to one of our cats. I would help here with her litters of cats and pregnant momma cats out of her home to do vet runs with them, helping to socialize them, doing pet therapy, doing fundraisers, etc. We also have caught strays from our own home and got them into the systems to get them off of the streets, vetted and adopted. Both my husband and I adore all pets, but also cats, and would love to have the opportunity to be helping you with your sweet fur babies. He would be my side kick extra pet help from time to time and we would make sure you're covered and cared for in all ways. It is important alo, for us to know your dog and cat likes and dislikes, as that will help our entire experience a great one all around. I am so excited to re start this as a true part-time job and meeting you guys and making new friends both human and Fur babies!
About: Hi! I’m Courtney. I’ve always been the person who ends up spending more time with the pets than the people. I love getting to know every dog’s or cat’s personality, whether they’re playful, goofy, shy, or happiest snuggled up on the couch. Honestly, hanging out with animals is one of my favorite ways to spend a day. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. Whether that means walks, playtime, belly rubs, or just keeping them company while you’re away, I’m happy to meet them where they’re most comfortable. I’d love the chance to meet you and your pet! I currently work, but I have a flexible schedule and can often adjust my hours to fit your pet’s needs. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care, I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that keeps your pet comfortable and cared for. My biggest priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, keep a close eye on them, and make sure they always have what they need. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, and while I haven’t had the opportunity to give injectable medications yet, I’m more than willing to learn if you’re able to show me your pet’s routine. Every animal is different, and I enjoy getting to know what helps each one feel the most comfortable so they can feel at home even while you’re away.
About: I have owned a dog for the last 15 years and have taken care of all ages/types of dogs for family and friends! I am home during the week and on weekends. I have a 4 year old yellow lab who is extremely friendly with other dogs and is used to being around them. I have an acre fenced in yard in town with lots of room for the dogs to run around safe. We have the summers off and are very flexible during the week. We are also available most every weekend for weekend stays or week long stays. We have a large fenced (One acre) in yard and a four year old yellow lab named Earl who loves to run around. Our yard is very dog friendly!

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds from an early age and have been a veterinary technician since 2012. Since I could drive I have lived and breathed pet care and put my self through school to be come a veterinary technician. From basic care to special needs, I am able to care for all conditions and stages of life. I commute from Cannon Falls to Lakeville and am available for early morning and evening care as well as boarding in your home or my own. Though I do not have a fenced yard I take great care with safe tie outs and walks for my own dog. We live in a quiet rural neighborhood. Crating will be required at times. (Examples: meals, breaks and if no one is home)
About: When your pet stays with me, they are family, and treated as such. I have experience with elderly and hospice pets as well as special-needs pets, young puppies, medication management and administration (liquid, pill, and injections) and some training experience as well. Well versed in pets with special care requirements (i.e. animals with anxiety, reactivity and/or other behavioral challenges). Because I work from home, I can be with your pet throughout the workday, and can easily step away to give your pet potty breaks and attention. I prefer to do house-sitting based pet care, as I’ve found that animals are most comfortable in their home environments. I am also happy to water any plants that may need it, as long as instructions are provided. Happy to work with large animals, amphibians, fish, and reptiles as well. Do note that house-sitting based pet care includes light house maintenance/cleaning as well such as vacuuming and laundering the guest sheets used. I like to leave the houses I care for as neat (if not neater) than they were upon my arrival. I work from home and can easily step away to care for your pet. When pet sitting, I generally don’t leave the house I’m sitting at for more than a few hours at a time, so your pet has reliable supervision and company. I am pet CPR and first aid certified through Red Cross. I am a very cautious and risk-aware person, always mindful of keeping doors and gates shut and ensuring the environment I’m pet-sitting in is safe and secure.

“Maxie was having separation anxiety and Brittany was totally understanding of that. Once we work with Maxie to get her use to others outside of our family I would absolutely book with Brittany again”

About: My family and I have always had pets and we love them dearly! Pets bring such joy into a home and we would love for your pet to join our family for a visit. I work from home and my husband is home multiple days per week so there is always someone to play and cuddle your pets! We have an energetic 5 year old who loves animals and is very respectful of their space! We have a large fully fenced in back yard so lots of room to run and play. There are two adults, a 5 year old and a 3 month old in the house so many opportunities for snuggles and play! We lost our dog last year to old age and my son would love to have some pets visit to play! Animals are allowed on the furniture but we will respect the rules you have in place for your pet while they are home.
“Chelsie was amazing with our dog, Frankie! He’s nervous with new people, so she let him tag along behind her and nap nearby, and her kids were very soothing and gentle with him. She also sent 3 photos throughout the day. I would absolutely book her again! Thanks, Chelsie!”

“Ashi did an amazing job at watching my two dogs. She kept me updated throughout the day with photos and video. They loved playing with her super sweet dog Simba and completely wiped each other out. Will definitely be back again.”

“This was our first experience using Lynn to provide an afternoon of daycare for our two, 1-1/2 yr old labs Maggie and Willow. Lynn met with us for a visit before we booked this daycare service and we found Lynn to be very knowledgeable, confident, cheerful and pleasant to work with. She did a great job answering all of questions and gave us the time we needed to ask them. On the day of daycare she took extra care in introducing our pups to the other dogs since Maggie can be very timid and a bit insecure. Everything went really well and by all indications Maggie and Willow had a great time. We will certainly book future stays with Lynn.”

About: I care for each pet as if they were my own. I walk, run and play with them. I treat every pet like a friend, offering comfort, attention and emotional connection. I bathe my dog about every other month. We have a routine in the morning with a walk before breakfast. Sometimes a walk around lunch time and another one after work is done. He is well loved and treated like a family member. I work full time Monday through Friday. I am in my office 3 half days and full time at home the other 2 days. I could stop at someone’s place on my way home to spend time with a dog and walk them. I can also stop over after work and later in the evening. In my home I have a fenced in yard that my dog can run free and play. If I am in a clients home I would make sure that there is nothing that the dog/puppy could get into after spending time with them/walking them.
“I sent my dogs for a fun daycare day and they came back so tired! I know they had a wonderful day. Kelsey was super sweet and informative, also sending pupdates throughout the day.”

“Brittni took good care of Zadie for the day she was there. There was an incident with another dog, and she made sure to communicate right away and went through the proper channels to make sure everything was documented. Her and her husband took good care of zadie before and after the incident to help her feel safe and calm.”

“Second time to leave our pup with Elizabeth and I could tell by how excited he was when we came back that he enjoyed his last stay. Elizabeth was also very kind to accommodate Tubby overnight as a last minute request due to a family emergency.”

“We had such a great experience with Giovana! She was very responsive and kept us updated throughout the day with photos and messages. It was clear that Kit was well cared for and loved — Giovana truly treated her like part of her own family. We’re so grateful for her kindness and attention, and we’ll definitely be using her services again!”

“This was our first experience using Topsy for doggie daycare and we couldn’t be happier! Our Yorkie was very much at home and comfortable. She has a nice space in the fenced in yard. She was very flexible and we were confident that our dog was loved up in his home away from home.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up around a veterinary clinic and have worked as a veterinary assistant for the past 7 years, giving me hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Through both clinic work and pet sitting, I’m comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, handling anxious or nervous animals, and working with puppies who may need extra supervision, potty breaks, patience, or routine reinforcement. I recently graduated from Bradley University and currently have a flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting throughout the week and weekends. I’m available for morning, afternoon, and evening visits and can work around your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, and bedtime routines. I’m especially comfortable with pets who need more frequent check-ins, senior pets who may need extra attention, and puppies who benefit from structured routines and regular potty breaks throughout the day. I also love keeping owners updated and am happy to send regular messages and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for pets is very important to me. Because of my 7 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, I’m comfortable reading animal behavior, administering medications, handling nervous pets, and responding calmly in stressful situations if needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always try to keep their routine as consistent as possible. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, medications, walk schedules, potty routines, and any special care requests so pets feel comfortable and secure in their familiar environment.

My weekly routine is designed to seamlessly accommodate the unique needs of both dogs and cats without rushing: • Morning Blocks (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM): I start my day by welcoming any Doggy Daycare guests and running my first round of morning cat drop-in visits. Pups get immediate outdoor bathroom breaks, fresh water, and breakfast according to your exact instructions. For kitties, I handle morning feedings, refresh water bowls, and scoop litters so they start their day fresh. • Mid-Day Breaks (11:00 AM – 2:00 PM): This is my peak window for active dog walking and mid-day drop-in visits. If your dog is staying with me for daycare or boarding, this is our dedicated backyard playtime block. If I am visiting your pet at your home, I arrive during these hours to break up their day with a solid 30-minute neighborhood walk, potty break, and lots of affection. • Evening Blocks (5:00 PM – 7:00 PM): This is wrap-up time! Daycare pups are picked up by their owners, and I conduct my second round of evening cat check-ins for dinner feedings. Boarding guests get their evening meals, followed by a wind-down routine of couch cuddles and a final yard let-out before bedtime. To keep your routine stress-free while you are away, I send a comprehensive daily update between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM featuring 3 to 4 high-quality photos and videos. This ensures you know exactly how much fun your pet is having without having to check your phone constantly! 🔒 Safety & Care Standards First Whether your pet is staying at my home or I am visiting yours, their safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a completely secure environment with strict supervision, separate feeding stations, and dedicated spaces for rest. If your pup is a runner, rest assured that doors and gates remain locked at all times. In your home, I treat your property with the utmost respect. I follow all security, key, and alarm protocols perfectly, ensuring your home is locked up tight after every visit. For cat drop-ins, litter boxes are scooped daily, and food areas are kept tidy. For dogs, walks are tracked securely via the app so you can see exactly where we traveled!
About: I’ve loved dogs as long as i can remember, I’ve been around dogs my whole life, had a Labrador Retriever growing up. My passion really began when neighbors would start asking me to dog sit for them. I always knew I wanted to do something with animals (mainly dogs.) a family friend told me about Rover & I immediately knew I had to become a sitter. I am very trustworthy and reliable & easy to reach! I currently do not have any pets in my home which makes me a great sitter if your dog isn’t a fan of other dogs/animals! I’m currently working part time so I have plenty of time to play with your dogs & care for them. & I can take whatever time needed to watch your dogs if you preferred I stay with them 100% You can always count on the fact that your dog is SAFE. If you don’t have a fenced in yard, I will keep your dog leashed unless you say otherwise!
About: I’ve been caring for my current dog for 5 years, previously I had a pup that I cared for 2 years. Over the years, neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me to walk their pups, keep them fed on schedule. Those early experiences taught me how to be patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s unique personality. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me, and that long‑standing trust from the people around me is something I’m really proud of. I am also a huge fan of training pets, though im not certified to do so as yet. This is currently my full time job at the moment as I transition in the workforce. That means more time for your pet, more time for play and fun or just naps. My space is clean, pet‑friendly, and thoughtfully arranged to keep every pet safe and comfortable. I’ve created a home environment where pets can feel relaxed, stimulated, and genuinely cared for. My neighborhood has beautiful, safe trails just a short walk away, so dogs get plenty of outdoor time, fresh air, and enriching adventures suited to their energy level. Inside, I’ve set up a designated nap room — a quiet, cozy space where pets can unwind, recharge, or enjoy some peaceful alone time whenever they need it.
About: Im a pet owner myself with 2 kitties and a bully breed. I’m comfortable with all kinds of pets including reptiles and birds as well as doing nail clippings with non aggressive pets. I taught my dog a few tricks like shake and spin. Overall very flexible with care on my days off. Thanks for looking! I currently work full-time 3 days a week, 12 hr shifts. Aside from that I’m free weekends to care for your babies while you take a vacation or a quick break! My pets are always supervised as they tend to be velcro babies. I take my pets out on a schedule as well as have a feeding schedule twice a day. Trips to the dog park are an option so long as safety is kept in mind, I tend to go when the park is less busy to avoid any potential fights. Pets are allowed on furniture and beds as they are family.

About: I have experience owning and caring for Miniature Schnauzers and Miniature Dachshunds. These dogs have taught me so much about patience, companionship, routines, and the unique personalities and needs of different breeds. I truly love dogs and enjoy giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and care they deserve. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved when their families are away. I would treat every dog in my care like one of my own. As a self-employed person who works from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the animals in my care. Working from home means I can be available throughout the day for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and check-ins. I’m able to work around each pet’s individual routine and needs, while still keeping up with my own work responsibilities. I love having the opportunity to give pets the care, attention, and love they deserve while their families are away. I would care for a client’s pet as if it were my own. I would follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep the pet’s feeding, medication, exercise, and potty schedule consistent, and give them plenty of attention and affection. I would also keep the home clean and safe, provide regular updates to the owner, and make sure their pet feels comfortable, loved, and secure while they’re away.

About: I’m a dedicated dog lover with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I grew up with both dogs and horses, and our animals were always treated as part of the family. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust to care for your pet while you’re away. I’ve cared for everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a slower, gentler pace. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and personalities to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. At home, I have two Australian Cattle Dogs, Sydney (4) and Roo (2), both rescues. They’re active, social, and always happy to welcome new companions. Before them, I raised my dog Cooper from 7 weeks old through 14 wonderful years. I also regularly provide in-home dog sitting for friends and family, with stays ranging from a few days to several weeks. I work from home which provides me plenty of time to keep an eye on your pup and let them out for potty breaks. I also try to work in some play time during the day where I can. My dogs insist the ball is thrown for them a lot! I feed my my own dogs around 6:30/7am and 3:30/4pm daily. I have a nice big yard with a privacy fence and 2 well socialized, friendly and playful dogs. I have good size kitchen and living room areas that can be gated off the pups need some quiet time to themselves.
“Kirsten was fantastic! This was our first time using Rover and Kirsten made me feel so at ease. Her home was lovely and dog friendly and I know our dog was well taken care of. Her daily messages and pictures made me feel in touch with what was going on with our dog. Thank you, Kirsten! We will definitely look you up again when we need another dog sitter.”

“Peg and Greg are absolutely wonderful! We are so grateful to have them take care of Sadie, and it’s clear she loves them, too. They provide loving, attentive care, and we always feel completely at ease knowing Sadie is in great hands. Their communication is excellent, and it truly feels like leaving her with family. Highly recommend!”

“Angela was so easy to work with and kept me informed of the fun the pups were having. And the best part (besides how go with the flow she was) our dogs ate dog tired, which is very rare! 10/10 will book again!”

“Katrina and Drew were amazing with our Poppy. It's the first time we have picked her up and she was hesitant to jump in the car to go home. We know she was well-loved and in good hands with them :)”

“Steven and Diane took great care of our dog! They communicated consistently and provided a great place for Bo to play and rest and feel at home. He came home tired and happy and we will definitely connect with them again the next time we need someone to watch Bo!”
