I’m typically more free during the days on the weekend. My significant other is a dog lover himself and has experience training labradors and helps out with animal care a lot since he works a lot from home in the garage. About: I’ve worked with dogs and cats in many different ways. I have owned dogs my entire life, plus a few cats. I volunteer at the Humane Society in Kansas City while at school where I work directly with the shelter dogs. I have house sat for multiple family friends and am ready to take on new pups and cats! I am currently home from school for the summer so am looking to fill the time. I work part time as a server a few times a week. During the day I often just workout, read a book, or hang with my own dogs. I have fostered a dog before and can adjust well to your dogs needs. I’ve practiced crate training, furniture restrictions, and other small training tasks. My house has an open yard which my dogs are free to run around in when they are not on leash to go potty.
About: I've had more than 2 dogs in my home my entire life, from 8 week old puppies to seniors. I have experience giving the dogs medicine when they need it. I work part time at a retail store, so I am never working more than 9 hours at a time, I usually only work 4-5 hours normally. I make the pets my priority when I am caring for them and I watch their behaviors so I can catch anything out of the ordinary. I follow feeding directions and potty schedules.
About: I grew up in California on a cattle ranch. I've been caring for all types of animals since I was young. I absolutely love pets and promise to treat yours like my own. I currently lost my 15 year old coonhound, Nelson and want to spend time with your companions to fill the void Nelson left behind. I love to stay active and miss my walking companion. My neighbors and friends like to rely on me for help with their pet needs including weekend stays, morning and evening walks and making sure everyone stays on schedule with feedings. Since growing up on a ranch I have been conditioned to administer medications including shots to our animals. If you have a pet that is in need of attentive care while you are away, I am more than comfortable doing so. Friday -Sundays are free. My work hours are Monday- Thursday, 8am - 5pm. Weekends are best for round the clock care. I am used to waking up at 5 am to get a long walk in prior to work and coming home to immediately repeat that long walk. I prefer to stay in your home to care for your pets. I believe that when pet parents are away it is crucial to keep the pets in their same routine to reduce stress and anxiety. I love sticking to a schedule and routine.
