About: Growing up both my wife and I have always had pets in our homes. My family and I love animals. I grew up around cats and my wife grew up around dogs and between the two of us we have decades of experience. We currently have a dog and 3 cats living with us. We got our puppy when he was only 4 months old and I am comfortable with the demands of caring for such a young puppy and making sure their needs are met. We also believe in force free training of our pets and our puppy has been through professional training classes (both puppy manners and teenage manners) so we are comfortable providing our knowledge and expertise to your pet! Our cats are very aloof but we separate them when there are new pets in the home. Safety of our pets and yours is very important to us! Our cats have access to their food, water, and litter upstairs and away from new puppy friends so all the animals have a stress free time while your puppy stays with us. We are calm and patient people. We have both grown up with animals and understand that accidents happen. We provide frequent potty breaks during the day, encourage breaks in play time, and plenty of mental stimulation. We love taking your puppy for a walk or throwing a ball around to get out some energy. My wife works a hybrid workweek and we have a 16 year old who loves animals. Your pet will be deeply cared for. We love giving pets and snuggles and loving on your puppy. I have baby gates and a portable crate on hand (for large pups!). I have a fenced in yard and a friendly pup for yours to play with. Our puppy sleeps with us at night and is allowed on our couches but if that is not ok for your puppy we are comfortable following your rules, including crating at night.

Please be mindful of this when considering booking with us. *DAILY SCHEDULE/ROUTINE*~ During our meet and greet, please give me a concrete idea as to what your dog's daily schedule is (i.e. feeding times, exercise times, playtimes, medication times if necessary) and a window of time for your visit. While my job does allow a flexible schedule, I do sometimes get caught up at client's homes past my anticipated time to address pressing needs or in the rare event of an emergency. It's part of the nature of social work, I suppose. Having said that, a time window allows me the flexibility to see your pup within a reasonable time frame, and still get our quality time in together! ~*MEET AND GREET*~ I schedule a ‘meet and greet’ with every new client as precedent to make sure that your pupper can become a little familiar with me before the stay begins. It also helps me to get an idea of what your pup's home environment and daily routine look like. If you chose dog walking services, I usually try to go on a short 'trial’ walk with you and your dog to make sure I can become familiar with your normal route, and to be able to observe how you walk your dog.

About: Over the years, I've built lasting relationships with pet families who trust me with their most precious companions. I've also cared for my own pets through major life transitions, health challenges, and everything in between. This extensive experience has taught me that every pet is an individual with specific needs, preferences, and quirks that deserve personalized attention and love. I work full-time on a hybrid schedule. Monday through Wednesday I am gone for 8 hours, but always have time in the evening for pet care and walking. Thursday through Sunday I am home and would love to give your fur baby lots of attention and walks. I am an avid walker and love to have a companion come on walks with me. I live in a condo with no fenced yard, but there is plenty of green space and its a great area for taking long walks. I recently lost my two fur babies, but would love to care for your fur baby when needed.
“Our stay with Julie was great. She took our pup last minute and was very flexible. She had a great space for dogs also with a large backyard. Mollie took to her very quickly which is always a good sign. As soon as we showed up for the meet and greet when knew Julie was a very dog friendly person. I will recommend her for anybody that needs a sitter. We will use her again in the future.”

Friends and family have trusted me to care for their dogs while they’re away, whether that means feeding, walking, playing, giving lots of attention, or simply keeping them company. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone. I work Monday through Thursday, so I’m primarily available for pet care on weekends. Whether you need weekend boarding, drop-in visits, or dog walks, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and love. I’ll always communicate with you, send updates and photos, and make sure your pet stays on their normal routine so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and cared for. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications if needed, and plenty of playtime. I’ll also send frequent updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
