About: Growing up both my wife and I have always had pets in our homes. My family and I love animals. I grew up around cats and my wife grew up around dogs and between the two of us we have decades of experience. We currently have a dog and 3 cats living with us. We got our puppy when he was only 4 months old and I am comfortable with the demands of caring for such a young puppy and making sure their needs are met. We also believe in force free training of our pets and our puppy has been through professional training classes (both puppy manners and teenage manners) so we are comfortable providing our knowledge and expertise to your pet! Our cats are very aloof but we separate them when there are new pets in the home. Safety of our pets and yours is very important to us! Our cats have access to their food, water, and litter upstairs and away from new puppy friends so all the animals have a stress free time while your puppy stays with us. We are calm and patient people. We have both grown up with animals and understand that accidents happen. We provide frequent potty breaks during the day, encourage breaks in play time, and plenty of mental stimulation. We love taking your puppy for a walk or throwing a ball around to get out some energy. My wife works a hybrid workweek and we have a 16 year old who loves animals. Your pet will be deeply cared for. We love giving pets and snuggles and loving on your puppy. I have baby gates and a portable crate on hand (for large pups!). I have a fenced in yard and a friendly pup for yours to play with. Our puppy sleeps with us at night and is allowed on our couches but if that is not ok for your puppy we are comfortable following your rules, including crating at night.

Most of my working days are spent at home and on occasion head to office when needed. ~*BOARDING*~ We LOVE having boarding visitors come stay with us while their parents go on vacation! In the nice weather, we try to spend most of our day playing outside if we can. We give everyone breakfast and dinner around the same time every day, (unless you specify otherwise, we will onboard your baby into our family's daily routine). After dinner, we go for our nightly family walk. Your baby can be anywhere in our house, and is welcome to sleep in our bed if they are comfortable doing so. One of our dogs (Frida) is an elderly chihuahua, keeps to herself. Our youngest boy, George, absolutely loves playmates! A meet and greet is mandatory for boarding and daycare! Please be mindful of this when considering booking with us. *DAILY SCHEDULE/ROUTINE*~ During our meet and greet, please give me a concrete idea as to what your dog's daily schedule is (i.e. feeding times, exercise times, playtimes, medication times if necessary) and a window of time for your visit. While my job does allow a flexible schedule, I do sometimes get caught up at client's homes past my anticipated time to address pressing needs or in the rare event of an emergency. It's part of the nature of social work, I suppose. Having said that, a time window allows me the flexibility to see your pup within a reasonable time frame, and still get our quality time in together! ~*MEET AND GREET*~ I schedule a ‘meet and greet’ with every new client as precedent to make sure that your pupper can become a little familiar with me before the stay begins. It also helps me to get an idea of what your pup's home environment and daily routine look like. If you chose dog walking services, I usually try to go on a short 'trial’ walk with you and your dog to make sure I can become familiar with your normal route, and to be able to observe how you walk your dog.

About: I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have both experience with dogs ( all sizes) and cats as well. In Florida, I used to be a volunteer at the local shelter and rescued organizations as well. I am also Bilingual English-Spanish. I work in the office and sometimes remote, finish by 5PM . When I am remote I have more flexibility -Mondays and Fridays usually. I have weekends for myself, but visit my grandchildren usually few hours on Saturday. As of now, he knows Door (for breakfast and lunch), Sit, Lay, Up, Down, Stay, Crate, Spin, Water, and Get it as commands. He has self-trained himself to go to our back door and wait when he needs to be taken outside. Also, he likes to talk to us (not bark), when an urgent matter needs attention... Such as refill my water dummy. I work remotely so I can use my time at home taking care of pets as well. With the flexibility it lets me take pets out for walks frequently and watch over them better. I’m nearly always around my dog and any animals I’m watching. I prefer to keep them in my sight to take care of any of their needs.

“Another great experience with Rover.com Jenny and her family were just what I was hoping for. Jenny and her daughter showed their caring nature for dogs immediately. Jenny is super organized, her house and yard are well suited for dog care. Her own dog, a Boston Terrier, was a cutie and got along fine with my girls. She was prepared if there was an emergency, she followed my feeding instructions and sent me pictures throughout the stay.
