From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. About: I am recently retired and am just starting out with the Rover. com work platform. My ideal work will involve helping families care for their pets when they can't be there to care for them themselves. I have been in this position with my pets several times and know how stressful it can be to trust somebody that you don’t know to care for your dog or cat family member. I have always had dogs and cats as part of my family, including special needs pets. I currently have one dog with special needs (IVDD and reactivity.) I would be happy to talk with you to see if I can meet the needs of you and your pet. Because I am retired I am fairly flexible with my schedule. However, due to my own pet , I am not available for overnight care or boarding. In addition, I travel a fair amount. So, I am best suited for occasional/one time/short term or fill-in type jobs. I currently have a dog who has physical limitations and reactivity. Because of this, I am unable to board a dog or cat in my home. I am also not available to overnight pet sit in your home.

I’d say I have been the primary dog walker in my house since I was around 10 years old and have gradually added responsibilities over the years. About: My entire life has always revolved around animals. As a lifelong equestrian, I’ve grown up taking care of horses and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Previously a barn manager, I’m now a pet & equine photographer. That means when I’m not at a horse show or photoshoot, I’m at my desk at home with my own two senior dogs curled underneath. My years in the horse world and now with senior dogs has taught me how to apply topical medication, give injections and oral meds, and how to recognize and redirect problematic behavior. Living on 15 wooded acres set back from the road means there is plenty of space for pups to run around as well as numerous off leash walking trails should your pup be up for it. Staying with me is like a country retreat for your pet - walks through the forest and sunsets and squirrel watching from the deck. If you're lucky, you might even get some professional photos out of it. As a self-employed pet photographer, I work from home when I’m not at a horse show or photo shoot. This gives me lots of flexibility day to day and during the day. I like to let dogs approach me as they feel comfortable and understand that dogs are capable of a wide range of personalities. My number one priority is that everyone feels safe and has their needs met. In my home, well behaved and responsive dogs may be allowed off-leash outside as we have plenty of space far from the nearest road. Dogs that can’t be trusted off leash will enjoy wooded walks around the property or nearby dog-friendly trails.

About: My husband used to train in the canine unit so he’s definitely taught me a thing or two! I’ve had cats my whole life as well! I am patient and loving towards all living beings. I enjoy pet sitting & loving them when their families aren’t around. I am also a nanny and have cared for many pets through the families I’ve cared for. I am available for boarding & daycare Friday-Sundays. Sometimes I have more availability but not always. I am open to being flexible as much as I possibly can. About: I have had at least one dog at all times of my life, ranging from big to small and young to old. I’d say I have been the primary dog walker in my house since I was around 10 years old and have gradually added responsibilities over the years. I’ve been fortunate enough to help watch, walk, or check-in on friends and family pets for years now as well. I currently have two pups, both King Charles Cavaliers. I recently graduated with my Master’s and only working part-time this Summer while studying for my board exam. This allows for plenty of time throughout the week, or at potentially strange hours to do visits or walks. I am happy to offer check-in, walks, or even pet-sitting depending on how much notice I receive. About: Experienced dog owner with 3 dogs. Two dogs are reactive/timid, one of which has allergies and pancreatic issues so I am familiar with pilling and dogs with special needs. I just graduated law school and took the bar and am awaiting results. I will start my full-time job in mid October so my availability will decrease. My ideal work will involve helping families care for their pets when they can't be there to care for them themselves. I have been in this position with my pets several times and know how stressful it can be to trust somebody that you don’t know to care for your dog or cat family member. About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa.
