Bianca adjusted and adapted what I'd shared with her so that it worked in her home, e.g., my dog wouldn't eat with the same set-up as I use so Bianca tried out different ways until my dog finally ate. I was curious to see how Bianca's cat would be with my dog. At the meet & greet they calmly sized each other up. During the stay Bianca shared a lovely photo of my dog snuggled on her sofa with her cat on the armrest. Nice, mellow companions. I was thoroughly comfortable leaving my dog in Bianca's care and will absolutely do so again when I go out of town and can't bring my dog with me.”

About: I grew up with dogs and have always valued spending time with and caring for them. I still walk, feed, play with, and love my two family dogs, although I am not the primary caretaker. Recently, I adopted my own cat whom I feed and play with daily, change her litter box, etc. I am not able to care for my own dog right now, as I’m very busy with dental school and do not feel ready for one, but I want many of my own in the future and cannot wait to care for your dog(s)!! I’m currently in my last year of school so I’m a lot more flexible! I have pets of my own and I make sure to give them the care they need. I will do the same for your pets! I will make sure to provide your pets with the best care possible, whether it’s for a walk or a longer stay. I plan to offer the best care depending on the situation!

About: I've been dog walking ever since 2020, starting with my sister's retriever mix, my neighbor's dogs of similar size (85 lbs), and a family friend’s corgi. I'm used to taking care of dogs with a lot of energy! I've been entrusted to take of care my sister's dog on my own for extended periods of time since then, spanning anywhere from a week to over two months. I am available mostly from 10 am - 4 pm on weekdays, barring any special circumstances. On weekends I am less flexible in the afternoons. I have a fenced in yard that is decently spacious with lots of slopes for dogs to run across. It's perfect for a game of fetch or just a case of the zoomies! While I do spend most of the day on my own, I can give enough attention to any dog that needs it because of my flexible schedule.

About: I am a pet lover. I grew up in a home with many pets including dogs and cats and have always had a special connection to animals. I love going on long walks and heading to the dog park when the weather is nice. I am here to help you care for your pet the best way possible. I'll always listen to special instructions and will show your pet the love and attention as if they were my own. I have a flexible schedule and am able to do "drop-in visits" and "rover now" walks during most week days when many walkers are unavailable. I am in the office two days a week, Tuesdays and a flex day. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! **I cannot accept pets that get into plants as I have a few not pet safe plants at home** **For house sitting you must be ok with my dog Buddy coming with me and staying at your house as well.** I work from home 3 days a week and am home most weekends! I too Iove middle of the day walks and all day hangs! I am in a pet friendly building that is super close to Rock Creek for longer walks. My home is child free, and smoke free. I do have a senior beagle mix I adopted from a family member who could not bring him with for an overseas move who is a full time pet at the home.
“I was very, very happy with the care given to my dog by Sasha. The check-in/check-out process was very easy. Sasha sent several pictures throughout the day, along with messages to let me know how my dog was doing. I could tell that my dog really enjoyed herself at Sasha's as she was still in high spirit when I picked her up. My dog also went to bed a little earlier than usual, which told me that she was pretty active during her stay. I plan on using Sasha again in the very near future, and highly recommend her services!”

About: I've been caring for my 4 cats on a daily basis for a decade. In addition, I dog sit overnight for my partner every couple of weeks. I work from home, so leaving in the middle of the day is rather simple. My dog seemed to like her, so I agreed to have her dog sit my very anxious/reactive dog, Lolly. I dropped Lolly off at Melina's home, and Lolly didn't even notice that I left! She seemed excited to explore Melina's home and spend time with Melina's dogs. Melina sent me regular photos and updates about Lolly's stay including whether Lolly was taking her Prozac, and I was happy to hear that she was doing well. I arrived late on the last day of the dog sit and Melina dropped off Lolly at my home so I didn't have to travel to pick Lolly up. I would recommend Melina to any one looking for a dog sitter. Lolly came back to me happy, and I'm certain she didn't miss me that much because she enjoyed her stay with Melina. My dog has some major behavioral problems and Melina was able to handle her, which is a major plus.”
