“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. About: I have cared and trained service dogs. Many family and friends have counted on me to care for their pets and know that I will always put them first. I work about 4 hours a day during the week (Wednesday and Friday) and I’m never gone for over 6 hours at a time while at work. Otherwise I am mostly home and only away for 1-2 hours for errands. Pets have entire first floor. My dogs usually hang out in the huge couch or in the office watching the birds (I set up feeders to entertain my bird dog and he loves it). On nice days I’ll leave the back door open for them to come in/out as they please. They have water both inside and outside the house. Dogs love sunbathing but here is also shade area all day in case they want to stay outside but out of the sun. Backyard is completely fenced.

I can give oral medications, follow your training rules, walk large dogs, handle dogs that aren’t friendly with strangers, high anxiety, and have disabilities (ex. Deaf, blind). These dogs are our best friends so I promise to take great care of yours :) If you have any additional questions for me, please don’t hesitate to ask. I am happy to chat or meet prior to booking to ensure I am a good fit for your pup! I believe in open communication to ensure the safety of you, your pet, me and mine. I work fully remote and am able to support daycare and boarding. I usually walk my dog morning, mid day and evening for 30 min to an hour at a time. I’d like to be able to support other people who need assistance. During the week your dog won’t be left alone for more than an hour depending on drop off and pick up time. During the weekend your dog won’t be left longer than 3-4 hours depending. We can always communicate your dogs specific needs to accommodate! I have a fenced yard in our home and a friendly, playful 2 year old male lab (fixed). If your dog is in my home, they do need to be friendly with other dogs. During the week I do work full time so there are times where I am in meetings so it is preferred your dog is not destructive or is okay in a crate or enclosed room during meetings. I do make sure the dogs are exercised before and after. I communicate my anticipated work schedule and plan for the day with the pet owner.

I've worked with several different breeds of dogs over the years including pit bull mixes, pugs, labs, retrievers, beagles, great danes, etc. I currently am taking some time off from working as a Senior Accountant so have availability all day everyday for the most part, when im not spending time with my pets and hubby that is. 🥰 When I do drop in visits I follow what is requested for dogs regarding feeding time/walking habits. I normally talk to them because well idk, I talk to my pets because thats what you do as a pet person. 😂

About: I've taken care of pets my entire life, I currently have 3 senior cats and 1 senior dog. I have 2 years of experience working in pet care facilities so I'm more than capable of handling all types of dogs and cats, including reactive/possessive dogs. I've been trained in cleaning, playing, monitoring play groups, feeding, and giving medication to all different sizes, breeds, and reactivity of dogs. I believe every pet deserve love and patience and I enjoy providing them with that. “WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior.
