About: I grew up around many animals. I’ve had dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish, and ducks during my lifetime. I don’t train puppies, but will care for them. I can care for senior dogs. I can orally administer medications, but have never injected medication, but will if shown how. I am available 24 hours per day, and also on all holidays. I am around pretty much all the time. Your pet will be supervised at all times. I have 3 years of dog sitting experience in my own household, I make sure everyone is properly separated when eating to prevent empty stomachs or incidents, I promote 100% safe play and socializing. I have a dog crates, and can keep dogs separate if need be.

About: I've taken care of my 4-year-old dog ever since he was a puppy, and before that, I've had parrots, hamsters, lizards, and other pets! I also take care of my family's pets. I just finished my last semester of college, so I am going to be free to take care of pets pretty much all day! I am usually available Mondays-Fridays from 8 am-2 pm! About: I'm excited to have your furry friend over and will give them all the TLC they deserve while sticking to their regular schedules. I've been obsessed with dogs since I was a kid and have taken care of our family dog, Lucky, since he was a puppy up until he passed away due to old age at 17 years. I now have a 6 year old Shiba Inu, Sumi, and a 10 year old cat, Ellie. Sumi was a rescue mill mama and was extremely fearful. With patience and love, she's finally come out of her shell. I've managed to teach both the dog and the cat tricks and work on training with them daily. I have a very flexible schedule at the moment and am home most of the day. I'll stick to whatever schedule your pet is used to so there won't be any confusion when they return to you. Our neighborhood is pretty large and also has a walking trail, so walks can be as short or long as you'd like. There's a dog friendly space downstairs with plenty of room to run around and play with toys, or if they prefer to chill, there's plenty of pet beds and blankets in the living room. I have a very chill and friendly Shiba Inu and Husky/Shepherd mix at home that can keep your dog company. I do have a cat that has their own room and can be separated if your dog doesn't get along with cats. I also have a large crate and two pens available if that's something you're used to doing. Baby gates are set up between each floor, but are usually left open for my dog. There are cameras on each floor so that I can keep an eye on the pets if I'm leaving the home or on a different floor.

“My dog can be fear reactive when meeting new people but this was not the case at our meet and greet with Joann - Hazel was very comfortable with her, and even put her paws on Joann in a manner that suggested to me she really liked her. When I dropped her off for day care I watched as Hazel sidled over to her and stayed calmly at her side as I departed. Joann’s home is spacious and clean, and her fenced in backyard is a great feature. Hazel seemed to truly enjoy her time with Joann and we will certainly return for future care needs.”

As a regular Rover user, we believe in providing high-quality and individual care for our dog guests. We adjust the level of care and activities depending on the dog’s health and owner’s preferences. Having my own senior dog who’s also blind, I have personal experience caring for fragile and older pups. 🏡 Home and Neighborhood Currently, I work full-time from home most of the week and I’m home most weekends. Our dog guests are allowed on the couch and bed, unless the owner prefers otherwise. We live in a walkable neighborhood with many tree-lined walking paths, bushes, parks and other friendly dogs and people. 📸 📱Daily Pictures and Updates We are very communicative and make sure owners get at least 3 updates with pictures and/or videos each day. 🦮 🐾 Walks Your dog will enjoy at least three 15-20 minute walks (usually at a casual pace and sniffing around the neighborhood) and ALWAYS leashed on our walks, usually using my own durable leash (the same rope material that rock climbers use). Their safety is my highest priority. 🧍🏽🐕 Meet and Greets Highly recommended for first-time guests. This allows the dogs to meet and I can get a good sense of your dog’s needs and how to best care for them. We go outside for 3 (sometimes more) walks each day usually at 7am, 12pm, 5pm and around 10pm. Your pup will have a great stay with us and Channing! Feel free to send us any questions! 💊 Medical Care We have experience administering medication to dogs, including oral and eyedrops (our dog is on several medications). For older and/or blind dogs, I carry them and use a baby gate as needed.

About: I have been a pet owner for over 6 years now, and a pet lover since the day I was born. My dog at home is a pug that I adopted when he was just a puppy, so I've trained him and taken care of al his needs ever since. I have also dog-sitted for friends and family over the years, taking care of their pets while they were away. I love all my furry friends and would treat any of them with all the care I would my own! I am currently working a part-time job, so I'll have days throughout the week where i am fully available along with some days where my availability may start in the afternoon. I will be fully available on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. And I will be available starting at 4:30 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In my home, I have a fenced yard that's very large and spacious where my dog can roam freely and play. I also have a range of dog toys for him to play with and a medium sized crate that he can rest in. In someone else's home, I would make sure to make myself aware of all areas accessible to any pets and make sure they're secure and I can keep an eye on them. If there are toys available I could use those to play with the pets, and if not I have no problem bringing some with me as well.
