When we dropped him off, he didn’t even look back as she ushered him inside which told us he was comfortable with Crystal from the very beginning. When we picked Black up, he was excited to see us AND sad for his weekend with Crystal to come to an end. Black had a couple of behavioral issues during his stay and Crystal was very attentive taking great care of his needs and keeping us updated with great photos and detailed reports. About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. About: I’ve always had dogs in my life! I adopted my first dog, Beth, in 2015 when she was just 14 weeks old, and I trained her myself. During the pandemic, I adopted my second dog, Buz, at 8 months old who had aggression and resource guarding issues. Because of them both, I am very watchful of dog behaviors and am not afraid of big barks! I know training basics and am comfortable with dogs of all ages and sizes! I am a teacher in SE DC, so during the school year, my availability is primarily evenings and weekends. During the summer, my availability is very open! About: I’ve always had cats in the house and have cared for them from birth to end of life. My most recent experience is with my adopted baby, Sushi, who I adopted as a kitten. I have experience feeding, changing and scooping litter boxes, loving on, playing with, giving medicine, and anything your cat may need. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. About: Recently married and paying off bills! If you have animal needs, I'm your girl! I've had cats and dogs my whole life. All kinds of breeds-mostly huge ones🤣 husky, chow, labs. I currently swap pet care with a neighbor, so I figured why not sign up for Rover! She said she used to do it, and she enjoyed Rover. It gives me a dopamine boost every time I get to see the fur babies. I'll treat them just as my own. I work from home, so with enough notice, I can make time to make runs out to care of your pets! I am in Temple Hills - very nearby is easiest. I usually immediately let out the dogs or walk the dogs. Then I feed them. While they are eating, I will do whatever needs to be done such as filling water bowls, cleaning up messes, etc. Then once they are done, I give lots of hugs or play depending on the doggie needs. Some dogs just want to sit under my feet and sleep while I'm at the counter or some dogs have all the energy in the world. Cats tend to just be cats 🤣 I had a cat that requires injections, so long as the dog or cat tolerates, I can do shots, oral or topical meds.

If there is one thing I can teach them is to get along with others animals as well as people. My patience and understanding will keep them thriving and healthy. About: I've taken care of pups since my daughter brought home our first baby, Cookie. We trained her to give her paw, sit, lay, and to kiss at "kiss" command. It's the cutest thing ever. She has been the Queen of the house ever since and then came along, Cinamon which is Cookie's daughter. They are best friends! Cookie had pups a while ago and we held her paw during birth and cared for her babies until they left us to our family members. Cookie is now considered a Senior but I always find ways to accommodate her needs so she can keep being the queen! We take constant walks around our neighborhood and also hang out in the big backyard. I'm currently not working; therefore, I have plenty of times to board and do drop in visits. I leave out occasionally to do grocery shopping, doctor appointments, and/or church services. I do not have a fenced yard but we do have secured long leashes to the soil which makes them feel like they are freely roaming around. We prefer to crate overnight but if your pup cannot do training for special reasons, we can accommodate. We currently have two small pups, a Yorkie and her daughter. They can be timid at first and will bark until they come down and get over the first couple minutes. We can put our babies away in separate rooms if needed be.

Anyway I've been taking care of my friend's, family's, and of course personal 'furry best friends'. I have a background in personal training and fitness. Never really ran into a dog that didn't like or respect me at least after the first couple treats or games I was able to play with them. Recently lost two friends one moved away the other, Sasha; a poodle mix of 12 years, passed away I was luckily able to spend more time with her during 2020 before she had to go. I have access and experience to great doggy parks equipped with fencing and great walking areas, and lots of car space for those longer trips or incase of an emergency where I have to safely transfer your fluffy children quickly. About: I’ve taken care of several pets since I was young. I had several dogs and cats (sometimes at the same time!). I love walking and playing with dogs, I’ve trained my puppy. I have taken care of big and small dogs. I have also taken care of kittens and adult cats. I have litter trained kittens and played with them often. I currently work full time, but am more than happy to watch your fur baby on my days off! I have days off where I have no plans and would love to spend it with more dogs or with your cat! I have a fenced in yard and two fur babies (dogs) of my own who are friendly and can keep your fur baby company. I am use to watching other people’s fur babies in a 24 hour care setting.

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page!
