About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. In my personal time I am spending time with my 2 little girls teaching them how to play sports, and of course how to be loving pet owners. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page! About: I’ve had pets since I was young, mostly dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. Over the years, I’ve cared for my own dogs—feeding, walking, and making sure they were happy, healthy, and well loved. Friends and colleagues have trusted me to pet sit their dogs and cats while they were away, making sure their pets feel safe and comfortable. About: Caring for pets of all kinds starting with dogs since as young as 10 years old. We now care for 2 senior dogs and a cat of our own. I currently work a hybrid telework schedule so for the majority of the week I am at home and able to take care of pets. Buddy passed away two years ago and it has been difficult moving on without him.I am looking for opportunities to dogsit for companionship and an excuse to be more active. I work fully remote and will be able to be with your baby throughout the day. Please consider me you new sitter! Pet care fits into my daily routine, since I work from home, I’m able to take care of the dog during the day and night. I typically wake up pretty early and keep a regimented schedule throughout the day. I make sure the dog is walked. I make sure that I spend a little time playing with them if they’re older dogs and I spend a little time rubbing them or petting them. Some dogs don’t like all of that so you really have to pay attention to what type of dog you’re getting. Luckily I love all dogs so it’s all fun for me.

Anyway I've been taking care of my friend's, family's, and of course personal 'furry best friends'. I have a background in personal training and fitness. Never really ran into a dog that didn't like or respect me at least after the first couple treats or games I was able to play with them. Recently lost two friends one moved away the other, Sasha; a poodle mix of 12 years, passed away I was luckily able to spend more time with her during 2020 before she had to go. Her memories are still with me and I know many are back to work and wish they could spend more time with their newest pups. We can work together to make sure they're, well taken care of, and I just wanted to help out and lessen the load of watching over these wonderful epitomes of joy and energy. I've recently found great streams of income im able to maintain at home while working on my online degree Fortunately my major for the 3rd semester in a row is online only. My schedule is pretty open and flexible so I wanted to make the most of my situation and again the main thing is to help out new or out of practice pet owners. Im free at all hours of day and night outside of a select few evenings where I train clients to achieve their fitness goals. I would love to keep your fur baby busy AND happy whether its a small walk with portable water bowls, at home self made doggy puzzles to keep their minds sharp and busy, even if I am tired, for those longer sessions. I have access and experience to great doggy parks equipped with fencing and great walking areas, and lots of car space for those longer trips or incase of an emergency where I have to safely transfer your fluffy children quickly. About: Through previous and most recent positions, I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments through pet sitting and dog walking. About: I have taken care of pets all of my life. I currently have a Siberian husky and a fluffy cat that I care for now. I have taken care of pets for a long time. About: I've been a pet owner for over ten years for both dogs and cats. I used to work at a Montessori school for dogs, as a behavioral specialist at an animal shelter, and as a Attendant at a doggy daycare, so I have taken courses from both the Victoria Stilwell Academy and the Karen Pryor Academy and have some experience with animal training. I am familiar with many temperaments and how to properly approach a new friend. While I am still working towards certification, I’d be happy to positively reinforce good habits as well as teach your animal a fun trick or two (this extends to cats as well)! I work full-time and my schedule is decided on a weekly basis, so my availability isn’t something set in stone. I am transitioning to a new job though, so I will soon be generally available on weekends and evenings. At your home, I'm comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I can keep up with dogs who want to play all day, or I can chill and provide cuddles to the softer, gentler pups. Some pets are content watching from a distance, and I can do that as well. At my dog school job, we had a detailed system of categorizing different "play styles", and at my shelter job, I often taught interested adopters how to properly introduce themselves to a possible new family member. I hope to incorporate that into my work with your beloved pet so we can better understand one another.

About: I am a true Capitol Hill dog lover and I have always had a strong passion for animals, mostly for dogs. I have been caring for dogs since I was child, taking care of my mother’s beloved shitzu. Taking care of her helped me acquire basic canine behavior and taught me the responsibility of taking care of a pet. Most recently I raised my own best friend, Gelato an English Bulldog. I gained my breeder experience with Gelato and cared for her and her 6 puppies, until they were rehomed at 8 months. I enjoy taking long walks, which I consider the ultimate stress reliever and best way to exercise. I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I have 20 years of experience in the customer service field and enjoy striving to provide the best experience to my clients. About: I’ve had 7 dogs over the last 24 years, two lived to be 18 and 19 yrs old. I was known for many years as the Brookland Dog Lady. This is the only time in my adult life that I have only one dog. I currently have one 2-year-old Cockapoo named Peaches. Peaches loves most dogs and people and is generally confident and submissive. She’s very good with large, young, and old dogs alike. My house is fairly quiet. Over my 24 years of experience with my own dogs and watching friends dogs, I have dealt with just about every health problem and ailment. I am experienced with puppies, seniors, providing insulin, doggie diapers, prescriptions and just about anything else you can think of. I love walking dogs through my neighborhood. I have a fully fenced backyard as well. I work primarily from home so I can provide a lot of attention and supervision. They are like children to me. I work from home so I’m never gone for more than a few hours. My daily schedule starts with breakfast for me and my dog, Peaches. I then take her out immediately to the backyard for a potty break. I then get ready for my day and work from home. I walk my dog in the afternoon every day with additional yard breaks throughout the day. We often stop to play with other dog friends along the way. I can do a second walk each day if needed. I feed her again around 6pm. I let her out again in the yard before bed. They would sleep in my bedroom at night - either on the floor in a dog bed or in bed with Peaches and me. I do have a doggy door that she can use as needed, but I do go out with her whenever she goes outside. I have a 7 ft wooden fence around my yard. I also have a gate across my front porch so that if any dog were to get out of the front door, they would not be able to get off the porch. Dogs are always leashed when outside of my yard. I have watched and cared for many dogs for my friends, family and neighbors over the years. I have also been "dogmother" (designated in the will to care for a dog if anything had happened to their human) by several friends and family.
