About: As stated, I have an 8 almost 8 year old German Shepherd myself. I’ve trained him myself to be quite obedient off leash, to listen well, and overall he’s very well behaved. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, turtles and more so I know my way around animals. I’m currently enlisted in the United States Navy. I work at the Naval Academy typically from around 9 in the morning to about 3pm most days. I’m also married with two kids and my wife is a stay at home mom who can also look after your furry friends as well. I don’t work weekends so I’m always available during the weekends and can be flexible throughout the week as well. At my home my dog is never crated he is always out and house trained. However, when looking after your fur babies if they need to be crated I have no issue catering to your needs. I don’t have a yard but we have a massive field and live in a circle so long walks are always a must. Whatever the needs of your fur babies, I can take care of those from daily dog walking, spending and playing time with your animals, staying over night at yours/my place, and giving g medicine if needed.

Although the cats have really different personalities, Laura was able to connect with super-shy Laska and rascally rambunctious Bagheera. About: I've had dogs my whole life and love playing with and training them. I unfortunately lost Axel, my shepherd/husky mix, last year. But I still have Harley (technically my boyfriend's, but we've lived together 3 years now). Harley is a sweet, 4-year-old, 40 lb spayed female mystery mix who loves to play, especially with other dogs. We go for lots of walks each day and we like playing, learning and practicing tricks. She knows the basics and can also spin, place, go around you, and now we're practicing crawl. I think people could learn a lot from dogs if they paid more attention. I've started dog sitting for neighbors the past few years and always enjoy getting to know new dogs. One of my favorite dogs I've cared for is Goose, a 5-year-old male Chesapeake Bay retriever. I also work managing a restaurant in town and do graphic design part-time from home as well. I work managing a restaurant downtown in Annapolis, and also do freelance graphic design work from home. Except for Mondays, my shifts at the restaurant are all p.m. shifts so I'm home and available most days anytime before 3:00. I'm off from the restaurant on Tuesdays and Fridays. I currently have and have always had dogs so I'm very used to going for multiple walks a day. I live in an apartment downtown in Annapolis. We currently do not have a yard; however, we go for a lot of walks and still spend a lot of time outside at parks and just hanging out in front of the apartment to people (and dog) watch. I have a crate, and my dog is crate-trained, so if/when your pup is over, I'm prepared to separate them if needed.

As of now, I travel to the Eastern Shore once a week to help my folks take care of our beloved Piper (13 y/o grandma Weimaraner) and Rooney (8 year old tabby). You can customize either and both are the same fee. Let me know how you'd like me to spend my visit! (for example: out of a 30 minute visit — 15 minute walk, 15 minute outside play, etc.). The dog walking option does provide you with a map of our route. I'm happy to brush, feed, medicate your pets, water plants, grab the mail, clean the litter box or do simple tasks at no extra charge. I live 2 blocks away from my full time job downtown, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m sure to update my calendar regularly and only accept bookings that I know I can fully accommodate. All I can say is this was the first time my baby was actually excited to leave me and stay with someone! She wagged her tail and easily went to Whittney when I dropped her off. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and grew up caring for 3 dogs, 2 cats, birds, lizards, hermit crabs, fish, and rabbits. Taking care of pets has always come naturally to me. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds & sizes over the years. I am comfortable with puppies through senior age. Friends, family and clients have relied on me to feed, walk, play with, clean up after, and love their pups as if they were my own. I can administer medications, including injections, and sq fluids. I can practice obedience skills during my visits as well. I’m available for pet care visits on Wednesday & Thursday mornings as well as evenings, Friday afternoon-evening, and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available on major holidays. Mondays and Tuesdays are on a case-by-case basis. I am very safety conscious and will care for your pets as carefully as I would my own. About: I have taken care of different types of dogs and including in home stay, walks, puppies etc and had my own dog since I was 12. I have lots of experience in caring for animals from reptiles to mammals. I am very physically active and love to spend time outside so long walks and exercise is both fun for me and your pet. I am currently looking for a part time job my schedule is open for the relative future and any changes to my schedule will be minimal, I am fully available for a consistent walking or care schedule for your pet. I care for my dog with long walks, exercise/play time with his favorite toys or enrichment games. “Dana’s house was a perfect spot for our dog! She has a great fenced in yard and sent multiple photo updates reassuring us that our doggo was having a great time. Her location was a perfect stop on our way to the beach. Would definitely recommend!!!”
