“Jess and her family were great! Our 11 pound Cavapoo (Molly) stayed with Jess for 7 nights while our family went on our first vacation without our beloved pup. I knew Molly was well cared for and happy (perhaps a bit too happy given her ambivalence to seeing me when I picked her up 🙂). I felt very comfortable leaving Molly with Jess and would certainly do so again. Jess was very responsive and sent me regular updates and pictures. I think Molly particularly enjoyed the freedom Jess allows the dogs in the house. For example, I sent Molly with her crate that she happily sleeps in at our home, but with Jess Molly just slept on the couch with the other dogs. Spoiled for sure!”

Oscar was always very communicative and always responded to all of my messages within minutes - he was also very generous in being flexible with the dog sitting schedule (as I was concerned I might not make it back from traveling due to a recent blizzard), which helped reduce any stress I might have felt if I didn’t pick him up when I originally said I would. He told me not to worry, and that he would work with me if I needed to make any adjustments to the schedule. You can tell through the videos that both him and his wife have a genuine love of dogs. About: Hi! I'm Kristen, a historical archaeology student at UMass Boston! Animals, history, and creative activities are my life. I have grown up with animals in my house my entire life- from rescue dogs, to cats, to hedgehogs, birds and rabbits, there are very few animals that I haven't gotten to play with. I would love to help you give your fur baby the best life possible by making sure they get the exercise they need, they get to socialize, and let them explore the environment around them. I have experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes- from Pugs to Newfoundlands, so I'm no stranger to large dogs and what they might need, and how that would differ from a smaller dog. I'd love to help you be the best owner you can be! I also have experience with multiple different livestock animals, from chicken and geese to donkeys. My goal is to own my own rescue farm one day, so special circumstance animals are something I am very comfortable doing. I prefer to spend time with your pets as much as possible, to help give them the socialization they need so they aren't left alone while they wait for their favorite people to come back :) I focus on making sure to keep into their set schedule as much as possible. Have a set time your fluffy friend needs to eat that never changes? Does your pet need to take multiple walks a day? My schedule is very flexible and it is my priority to keep their lives as unchanged as possible. I keep pets as normal in their routine as possible so they don't feel out of sorts until their people come home! I am more than comfortable dealing with crated, uncrated, specific behaviors of pets, and more. I make sure that their food and water intake is exactly how you specify, and that they get plenty of love and exercise.
