Great people, a terrific fenced back yard, and good communication. Hard to beat that.”

About: I've helped to take care of 6 dogs through their entire lifespan, from puppyhood to their golden years, loving every second of the way! I have also been hired by neighbors to watch after cats and fish while they were away on longer trips. I worked briefly as a dog daycare attendant, but now work as a writer at home, and am thrilled by the opportunity to help you care for your wonderful furry family. Pet care is my main priority throughout the week and weekends, and I write in the mornings and evenings. However I can be of assistance, I will! I have my own dog, Luna, a 35 pound mixed-breed rescue, and I treat her like family, because she is family! I would be honored to discuss how you care for your pets, and what I can do to make them feel at home as I help look after them.
About: I've cared for dogs since I was young, with over 3 years of hands-on pet care experience. Friends and neighbors often trust me to walk, feed, and look after their dogs. At home, I'm the proud owner of a mini poodle, so I understand the daily needs, routines and personalities of small breeds. I'm patient with puppies, gentle with senior dogs, and always attentive to each pet's comfort and safety. Also I love running and often take dogs with me for safe, fun jogs, which keeps them happy and healthy. I care for my own mini poodle every day, so pet care is already a part of my daily routine. This makes it easy and natural for me to care other dogs at the same time. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups. I live in a quiet, low-traffic neighborhood that's very safe for daily walk. Our home is just a short walk from Nara Park and Bruce Freeman Rail Trail. My friendly mini poodle helps new pups feel welcome, and I always supervise playtime to make sure every dog feels secure and cared for.

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and truly love caring for them. I have experience with senior cats who require daily medication, patience, and gentle attention. I’m very attentive to each cat’s needs and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I also take pride in keeping litter boxes, feeding areas, and pet spaces clean and tidy. I can’t wait to meet your lovely kitties!

“Seamus helped me out totally last-minute and was a perfect caretaker for my two cats. Seamus was not phased by Zola, my standoffish cat, and noted "Zola sightings!" And he noted that my furry 17-lb, Squirrel reminded him of his cat. I highly recommend Seamus! So do my cats!”

About: I’ve lived in a home with dogs my entire life. Currently I am the dog mom to a 5 year old goldendoodle and have volunteered at a local rescue who takes in both dogs and cats once a month for the past 3 years. These experiences have thought me management and training techniques for different dog temperaments, ages and medical needs. Recently completed AniMatch Canine Body Language and Behavior Observation Training educational course, have taken a canine CPR course and worked with my own dog on reactivity training. I work a full time remote marketing job. This gives me the ability to have time in the mornings, and evenings to do dog walks and pet drop ins when needed. I have limited lunch time availability at this time and am not able to take on any reoccurring weekly bookings. Client communication is key and I will make sure to connect with you on details of your pet before a visit, send updates and make sure things go as usual as normal.
“Xiaoxue was great at helping my anxious dog get acclimated and settle in her home. She was also very responsive and sent plenty of updates with photos. I highly recommend.”

About: Adopting Benny, our now 6-year-old Australian Shepherd mix, has been one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of our lives. He came to us as a rescue, full of potential but also in need of patience, consistency, and care. Australian Shepherds are known for their intelligence, energy, and sensitivity—and Benny is no exception. From daily walks and mental stimulation to routine training and lots of affection, caring for him has been a constant, joyful commitment. He thrives on structure and attention, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to watch him grow more confident and connected as the years go by. Benny has taught us so much about resilience, communication, and the powerful bond that forms between a pet and their family. He’s not just a pet—he’s truly part of our family. Pet care is a daily routine for me. I'm the one who feeds, brushes, spends time with Benny and walks him on a daily basis. I provide nothing but the best for Benny. He gets toppers on his food, supplements, daily attention and walks. I'am trustworthy, reliable and will treat your animals as if they were my own.

I have experience with animals of all ages, from puppies to senior dogs! I promise to show your fur babies so much love and care, and to always treat them like my own. I currently have a part time job. This gives me a lot of flexibility and free time in my schedule. I am available most days of the week and on occasion the weekends. I will pay close attention to any and all needs of your dogs! Let me know and I will make sure to do it. I can easily crate your dog, feed/walk them at specific times, give them medicine, etc if needed.
“Emily is a fantastic, wonderfully caring dog walker / pet care taker. We use her services for daily weekday walks for both of our dogs which have very different needs ( a 14 yr old golden doodle with mobility issues and a 10 yr old lab that still thinks she's 3 yr old spring chicken). She has also house sat over a navigation for us so that they didn't have to go into a kennel. She is trustworthy, communicative and extremely kind. You'd be fortunate to have her services.”

About: I love animals and have two dogs of my own! I am very enthusiastic and have experience with skittish and nervous dogs and cats as well as puppies. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! About: Hi! I'm a fourth year medical student currently staying with my parents in Acton, MA! Currently I have an 96lb great dane mix,Brewster, and an orange cat, Cheddar (and YES--they are best friends). My partner and I got our dog at 6 weeks and I house trained my parent's golden when I was home from college one summer. I will not hesitate to contact you if something doesn't feel right because that is what I would want someone to do if they were watching my pets.
About: I have grown up with Cats and Dogs and have always had at least one in my house as an adult. I owned a Chihuahua that was not very nice to strangers, so I have also had my fair share of difficult moments with my dog as well. I am a huge cat lover, so send me all the kitties for care!!!! I have 2 very friendly cats, but to be safe I am not sure how they will be around other animals. I am happy to care for your furry friends in your house and yard.

“Julie was really great with our anxious dog who really does not warm up to strangers. She understood that our dog needed space and time. By the end of the 24hour stay she and our dog had bonded which speaks volumes regarding Julie’s demeanor and ability to read a dog. Additionally, Julie is extremely responsive. Due to weather we needed to adjust our stay and she quickly responded to my messages and helped work through how to navigate the Rover site ? We are looking forward to having our dog stay with Julie again soon.”
