“Desirae was a life saver!! I did a last minute request before our family vacation, and Desirae was quick to respond. She keot us updated, sent pics and videos, and even talked to me about our dog’s dietary needs. She is an amazing sitter, and she definitely has a regular customer in us! Thanks again Desirae!”

“Whitney was great! She provided regular updates, responded quickly, and handled our puppers quirks with grace. They were so happy! We will definitely be a repeat client”

“I take my two male cats to Etta’s anytime I go out of town. She is loving and patient with them, and she keeps you updated with pictures! I will definitely keep going with Etta!”

“Elena is an amazing person . She took such great care of my baby and kept me updated daily while he was there with her. Chico loved his stay at Elena's. I'll definitely bring him back!!”
“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. We would absolutely book with Iryna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter. - Diana (and Roy)”

“Rachel and Michael were wonderful! They took care of Missy over the holidays and clearly gave her a lot of love! They send sweet pictures and or videos daily. They were extremely responsive and reliable. They set up Missy for success by scheduling a meet and greet for our pups before the boarding period. They were also super flexible. My flight back to the city was canceled and I last minute needed an extra day of care for Missy and they accommodated this last minute change which was very kind. Overall, I felt relaxed and reassured in my travels knowing Missy was being cared for by Rachel and Michael!”

“María was an excellent sitter for Toby :) he was well cared for and a happy pup when I came to pick him up. I will definitely use Maria again when I come back to New Orleans. Thank you for taking care of Toby.”

“Blair was great with my 2 little ones, and Cody was really happy and friendly too. She updated me with pictures and even let them sleep on her bed. She followed their special feeding instructions to the detail. My babies were not stressed out at all and seemed at ease when I picked them up. Thanks so much, til next time!”
“Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. Overall if I could give 6 stars I would and if I need a dog sitter in New Orleans again I know who to ask. Thanks so much Kenneth!”

“Caitlin was so great! She was flexible and responsive leading up to the visit and sent me lots of pictures of my furry boy during her drop in. I can tell she did more than just refill the food bowl and clean the litter box— she spent some time giving my cat some much-needed attention and making him feel loved while I was gone. What more could I ask for? :)”
“Thank you for checking in on Moss. He was well fed and cared for while I was traveling. He was happy to have me home, but wasn’t acting like he had been neglected while I was gone. You are the best Elizabeth!”

About: I took care of a lovely little guy of my own( childhood bestie!). Worked in a doggy daycare for a few years and I’m currently at an animal clinic! I have had a dog, bunny, ferret, and a few fish and have groomed a dog before but still looking to get more experience. I work with dogs and cats all day everyday and get off at the latest 4pm usually off Wednesdays and Sundays but my work schedule does change sometimes. I currently don’t have a pet right now definitely looking for a new addition. I have experience giving oral and topical medicine, walking, cleaning, playing, and most importantly snuggling!
About: Hi! My name is Brion. (Bree-ahn) I’m a 32 year old female. I’ve always had some sort of pet in my life. I currently have a 1 y/o male golden doodle who is not spayed. I also have a 6 y/o daughter who absolutely adores animals. On weekends my daughter and I would love nothing more than a play buddy. We like taking walks outside and getting fresh air when needed. We live in a fenced home with a backyard, front yard, & a park. So there’s plenty of space for activities and energy. I also have a large cage of my own if needed.

About: I’ve grown up with cats my entire life. I currently have two senior cats ( brothers) and 3 porch kitties. I have helped with TNR in my neighborhood and feed the strays. I also volunteer at the shelter when I can. Cats were my very first type of pet and only type of pet until I turned 19. Now I own two dogs as well.

About: Cats are where I started. I've shared my home with them my whole life, currently with Ajax, a 12-year-old tuxedo gentleman who has trained me thoroughly in the ways of his people. I speak fluent cat. I know when the belly roll is a greeting, and when it's a trap. For visits in your home, everything happens on your cat's terms, in their territory: feeding, fresh water, a properly cleaned litter box, and genuine company. Whether that's play, brushing, or just quietly existing nearby, I'm happy to do whichever your cat prefers. I'm careful with the zoomers, and patient with the shy cats too. I've perfected the treat jar shake to make sure I can snap a photo when it's time for an update. I come cat-endorsed. A neighbor's cat inspected my place on his own initiative and now has moved in. I'm honored to have a new part-time roommate.

About: I've had many pet dogs and a few cats in my house since my childhood. I care deeply for animals and I'll do my absolute best to take care of others if I get the opportunity. I'm a dog owner and I have a very flexible schedule. I'm in pretty good shape and love to walk and run around with my Bella. I have a large fenced-in yard and I don't mind dogs in the house. My Bella is friendly and would love company sometimes. I can handle and care for your dog responsibly. I’m retired and like to stay active and I like spending time walking and staying fit so I walk when I can and I love doing it with my dog buddies. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room to run around in, it’s safe and secure. My dog would like to get to know some other dogs.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I’m comfortable giving meds, understanding special needs, and making sure pets feel loved, safe, and understood. A year after Cici passed, I adopted a dog named Betty who taught me how to love again. I didn’t realize that it was possible to have more than one soul dogs. Unfortunately, she passed away from heartworms 3 months after I adopted her (she already previously had heartworms from the place I adopted her from and was on medicine). So after that, yeah I’m not doing that again haha. My heart can’t take it. However, I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving and hopefully mend my broken heart. I promise I’ll treat them how I would’ve treated Cici and Betty!!!! The pain of losing them was so great only because the love I had for them was even greater. And I have an abundance of love to give! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I will make sure they get regular leashed walks, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time. I will stick to their usual feeding schedule, keep fresh water available at all times and follow any medication or special care routines exactly.

“Emily is absolutely amazing. She is the only person I bring Petey to when I will be out of town and need someone to take care of him or when I need to drop him off for the day! She is really great with all dogs and her animals are super friendly and accepting. She also takes plenty pictures and gives updates via rover and text regularly. She is the only person I trust with my pup!”

About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. As my life has changed my love for, and enjoyment of caring for pets has not. I bond well with animals, and have the experience to know when firmness is required. I will always care for your animal as i would my own. ( spoiled ) I have a good availability and experience with all ages of pets. Including training to elderly animals who need special care. I am comfortable administering meds, and dealing with unique or special circumstances. Finally, I am reliable. You can rest assured that your baby will be well cared for. when I house sit I will keep your place clean daily. If you desire addition plant care or whatever, just ask. I am retired. This gives me great availability to care for your pet. I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. At times I prefer overnights at your place so as to not disturb my husband. I have a fenced yard. At your home or mine we get plenty of potty breaks, walks, and play. I only leave the house to go to the store or appts.

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“Ms. Rachelle was the he sweetest. She kept me updated on Hershey and I even got a cute art keepsake. I got to meet her fur babies and the Hershey’s other new friends too. Ms. Rachelle is an absolute gem!”

“Oshie treated Miles like family during his visit! We received pictures of him throughout the day and we knew he was in good hands right from the start! Oshie was a lovely and gracious host all around! When we inevitably visit New Orleans again, we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much!”

“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I believe they teach us unconditional love, help us stay present, and enrich our lives in countless ways. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, though I have a particular appreciation for larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. Over the years, I've spent countless hours learning about canine behavior, training, and communication to better understand their needs and how they experience the world. My beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Bella, was my companion for 13 wonderful years. During the last five years of her life, she lived with diabetes, requiring twice-daily insulin injections, regular veterinary care, and cataract surgery. Caring for her taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care—especially for dogs with special medical needs. I understand that pets are family. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra care and attention, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and responsibility that I gave my own. I currently work from home while building my real estate investment business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be attentive to the needs of the pets in my care. My day typically starts between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. with meditation and exercise, followed by work from my home office. Because I set my own schedule, I can easily accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, medication needs, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. If your dog is boarding with me, I enjoy incorporating outdoor walks into my daily routine and can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I care for pets according to their owner's preferred schedule and routine whenever possible. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and secure, whether they're in my home or their own. I take the time to learn each pet's feeding schedule, exercise needs, medication requirements, favorite activities, and any special instructions. My goal is to provide attentive, loving care while maintaining the routines and boundaries that are important to both the pet and their family.
“Michael was awesome with Merlo. Communication was great and he was able to accommodate our changing schedule. I was a little nervous leaving Merlo with a new friend, but Michael was excellent and I highly recommend him. If we're ever back in New Orleans we will certainly visit him again!”

“Moose and I are so lucky to have come across Michelle. She is the kindest host we have ever met. We are constantly going back to her now! Moose loves playing with her kiddos and he enjoys her hand cooked treats of eggs and cheese she makes for him! She is very kind and so understanding of our long days. Michelle is the best 11/10 recommend!!”

“Roxanne was great at communicating and was very timely. She took very good care of our boys and we will absolutely be using her services in the future. Thank you, Roxanne!”

“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

“I set up a meet-and-greet with Abby to see her space, and I could instantly tell she’s a true dog person. Her communication is excellent, and she sends pictures and videos throughout the day, which gave me so much peace of mind. My pups came home happy and tired after a fun-filled day. I highly recommend her!”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. I love exploring the outdoors with a dog, chucking sticks across empty fields, and praising them for every "good stretch"! I do everything I can to make pet parents feel comfortable and assured when they leave their furry friends in my care—including plenty of photos and updates! I work from home as a writer/editor and a live-edge woodworker, so my schedule is entirely flexible and under my control. I have a fenced-in backyard with ample shade where I often write and work, so outside time is always available for the animals I care for. I love walking the city and wandering through green spaces, especially Audubon Park and City Park, and having a puppy pal to accompany me makes it even more enjoyable. My interior home space is approximately 1,800 square feet, with multiple couches and rooms and sunspots for dogs and/or cats to relax and lounge. The fenced-in backyard is well-secured with a 6-foot fence for stress-free bathroom breaks, and my active lifestyle takes me on at least 2 longer walks each day, typically in the morning and evening. At a client's home, I pride myself on being highly adaptable to new routines and expectations, and my career as an editor makes me very attentive to details, e.g., medication needs, feeding times, sleep schedules, walk durations, etc. Whether you need someone to pop in and play with your pooch for an hour, or leave your animal at my home for a longer trip, you can rest assured they will be cared for, loved and pampered in a safe and comfortable environment.
“Tayler was amazing. My dog Lacey always get separation anxiety and tends to cry when I leave and is a little lack lister but Tayler was one of the few that was able to get her to eat her dinner. Lacey usually will not eat unless I or my husband feeds her, but Lacey was happy to stay with Tayler. Thanks for taking such great care of our “baby”.”

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
“Darin is a great friend to animals and goes at their speed which is important for one of our girls who is unsure of everything. He is also communicative and reliable. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Elizabeth has been very responsive and was great during our meet and greet. She has been very patient with my dogs behaviors and will be using her regularly for walking services.”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy or a senior pet needing extra care, I’m confident in handling all kinds of needs. I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week, so I’m able to care for pets whenever needed. Pet care easily fits my routine, and I’m happy to adjust based on your pets specific needs and schedule.your pets comfort and routine will always come first. I believe pets are most comfortable and relaxed in their own home, which is why I only offer care in the clients space. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! We have a modest fenced in yard, as well as one dog and one cat of our own. Both are friendly with all species! We have ample space (spare bedrooms) to set up up a crate/kennel if desired.
“Caitlin was absolutely amazing with my dog. He has severe anxiety and she was so patient with him. Eventually he was able to warm up to her and it’s very rare that happens. If I could give 10 stars I would. In the future I will only be using her when I need someone to take care of him”

“Ben sent lots of pictures of our boy and made us really comfortable leaving him for the weekend. The frequent updates were super appreciated, we’d definitely book with him again!”

“Roxanne was great and our boys had a great time. They slept on the ride home which is always a sign of a good stay. We will be using her again.”

“I highly recommend Regina. She sent pics of my baby after she was picked up. She went above and beyond to help me get my dog to her and from her. She is a fantastic lady.”

“My two fur babies enjoyed their visit with Ms Michelle, who took excellent care of them. I had peace of mind while we were away from them knowing she was watching them.”

“Awesome. We love sending our dog to stay with Erin and Robin, because we know that she is safe and happy the whole time. They have an amazing property that any dog would enjoy--a big lawn, woods, even a stream to play in. These ladies are our FIRST choice, every single time we need doggy care.”

“Cindy was great!! She gave us daily updates+pictures and took excellent care of our dog. She even brushed her (which my dog often isn’t very amenable to!), which was thoughtful and appreciated. Our dog seemed happy and content when I picked her up. We will definitely use Cindy again. Most highly recommend!”

“Anne did such an amazing job watching my dog calypso! Calypso had never spent time away from me and she had never really spent any time around other dogs, but Anne was so patient and understanding! She sent me pictures of calypso every single day and gave me updates On how she was doing! There was always someone spending time at home so calypso never had to worry about being alone! When I left calypso had horrible separation anxiety and was scared of other dogs, when I came back she was confident and her fear of other dogs was pretty much gone! I will continue to trust Anne with my puppy anytime I travel to NOLA and I definitely suggest that you do too! Thank you so much Anne!!”

“Lindsey is great! My dog Ruby loved staying with her and her dog. She sent us pictures and videos every day. She is incredibly responsive and obviously cares about the animals she takes care of. We will definitely book with her again!!”

“This was our third time having Katie take care of our dog, Mylo, and she has been consistently wonderful. Her communication is excellent. She’s always helpful, informative, and keeps us updated. Mylo can be on the nervous side when he’s away from home, but he genuinely seems to enjoy his time with her. Katie does everything she can to make him feel comfortable and at home, which gives us great peace of mind. We’re so grateful to have found her and will absolutely continue booking with her.”
