My husband and I grew up on farms in Kentucky and have loved dogs all our lives. Our kids also love dogs! We have a large fenced yard, and there are lots of walking areas nearby. We would take your dog on a walk or let him romp around the yard. We do have a cat named Eleanor and kids, so it is important that your furry friend be comfortable around cats and children. Eleanor mostly keeps to herself, so as long as your dog doesn't chase or bark at her, things should go fine! Why I love dog sitting We've loved dogs our entire lives. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. About: I've had dogs since I was three. I grew up with beagles but have owned a German shepherd, pitties and now an English bulldog. As well as an iguana, frogs, toads, parakeets and hamsters. In your home I am able to provide feeding, watering, potty breaks, play time and attention, (non-injected) medications, and more upon request. When walking your dog(s), I am very attentive and aware, and love providing your companions with positive reinforcement when exhibiting desirable behaviors. I go with your dog's pace, and even offer trips to the dog park if you believe your furry friend needs to get out more than a walks worth of energy!

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life. I am especially comfortable taking care of older and senior dogs and adapting to their needs (ex. blind/deaf) and have lived with small to medium breeds. However, I am also experienced with taking care of younger and larger breeds (ex. 1 year old English Labs). I have recently graduated from my undergraduate program, and have plenty of free time while looking for full-time employment. I do have a daughter, which may limit certain appointment times but should be flexible as I do have relatives to help, should I need to check on your pets. Experienced with young and elderly dogs, I am always sure to keep an eye on them when they are outside to prevent any escape or injury, regardless of a fence. If needed, I can also sit with special animals on a schedule, to ensure they go to sleep after meals or a walk.
About: I have over 30 years experience working with animals of all kinds. I have vet clinic experience, personal experience and am involved in animal rescue organizations. I also have a 13 year old Beagle named Ginger, a Pot belly Pig named Ellie and 2 spoiled cats. I am a former Drug and Alcohol Counselor and been married for 36 years. I have one adult son and a 12 year old granddaughter along with a 4 year old grandson. I am free most all day. I do Walmart deliveries throughout the day, it allows me time to do other things.
