About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

About: I have my undergrad in animal science. I volunteered for several years in high school at a no kill animal shelter where I got to foster many dogs. I’ve pet sat for friends and of course had my own pups. :) I’m often off a day during the week which allows me to pop in to take a pup out! Also able to work it into my schedule after work during the work days. About: I regularly pet sit for friends and family. 1-3 weeks mostly; but can do just a few days as well. Private home with a fenced yard. Dog lead in yard is available. I love to walk! Short or long walks are all fine with me. I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve owned 3 in my adult life. I even fostered a dog for 9 months! It was hard to give her up; but she went to a loving home. I’m honest and trustworthy and dogs just make every day better! I work a pretty flexible schedule. I’m retired so I have lots of time. If your dog likes car rides and public parks…awesome! There’s also 2-3 dog parks not far from my house I have a big yard that's about 70 yards deep and I have a secured lead in both front and back yards. For added safety, I attach an air tag to your pets collar. There are sidewalks all around my neighborhood for safe walks on a leash. I'm not a fan of dog parks. I prefer to select my walking path to ensure your pets safety. I live alone.

About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. When I was between jobs as a teenager, I briefly worked for a local company that took care of pets on the daily. I've taken care of puppies, small dogs, big dogs, senior dogs who need meds and extra patience, etc. I have a huge heart and am a very empathetic person, especially when it comes to animals of any kind. I have always had a dog or dogs in my family, but am currently pet-less so I'll have all my love to give for your furbabies! I currently do not offer care in my own home, but am more than willing to do whatever you need in your home. My first pets were fish, gerbils, guinea pigs and geckos in my lower/middle/high school years and these days I spend all my free time with my 6 year-old tabby, Sock. I grew up around dogs and I’d be delighted to make the acquaintance of yours. I pride myself on being able to respond quickly to the needs, requests and personalities of both you and your pet! After a busy spring, my availability has widened considerably for the summer allowing me to prioritize one of my favorite interests: caring for animals! While new to the rover platform, I am excited to grow my returning clientele with more scheduling opportunities! My home is the protected territory of my cat, Sock, so I don’t offer playdates in my home. However, I’d be delighted to look after you and your pet’s territory! I’ll make sure they don’t get into anything for-humans-only and ensure that the space you share is just the way you left it.

I have walked, animal sat, full groomed, bathed, and more! Anything that I haven't done, I'm always willing to learn! I currently go to college and live on campus! About: I've had pet since my earliest memories. On top of caring for pets of my own, including cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, and more, I also fostered animals in southern Indiana for 5+ years. Now that I'm in the Cincinnati area I want to find a way to help animals again so I joined Rover! When caring for pets in someones home I always make sure to have a list of things the pet parents want to make sure is done. I also make sure all cabinets and doors are secure before leaving a room, this way pets can't get into anything they shouldn't. When outside with the pups, I always make sure to keep them on the outside away from the road when walking on sidewalks.

About: I am a stay-at-home mom so I am home most of the time. I can give your doggo all the attention they need. I've taken care of dogs really for as long as I can remember. I had a great dane as a teenager so big dogs are no problem. I am a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom so I am home a most of the time, never gone for long. I am available seven days a week. I have a large fenced in yard that doggies love! I only take one dog at a time or two "sibling" dogs so that everyone can get along and hang out together. I want dogs to feel welcome in my home. I have two cats that are very used to dogs. I have a very large dog kennel to keep your dog safe when I am out and about and at night.

When it's time to rest, they will enjoy relaxing in my spacious clean home with plenty of love and care. I am a stay-at-home mom with children who attend summer camps. Drop off can be as early as 7:00 a.m. and for overnight stays 6:00 p.m. Pick up times can be negotiated. Large safe neighborhood, in the heart of Independence. You can trust that I will be with your pet for most of the day and I always let the owners know if I have errands to run or appointments to attend. My children are 7 and 10 years old, they absolutely love animals. They have been educated on the proper way to approach and play with dogs and cats. At no time will the children be left with your pet alone. When my husband is in town, he arrives home around 5:45 every evening and is a big dog lover. He misses having a dog but travels too much for the military.
