About: Most of my life, it seems my path has always crossed ways with dogs. However, this doesn't mean I don't like cats! About: I have experience fostering for the humane society. I have a German shepherd at home and used to own a Siberian husky. I have fostered both puppies and kittens I work from home full-time so I can give your pet plenty of potty breaks and give them a walk on my lunch if needed I have a fenced in yard that your dog can play in. I also live close to a park that we can go to. I have a friendly German shepherd who likes to play with other dogs. I will treat your pet like they are my own and let them make themselves at home.
About: I have helped raise a bottle fed kitten and cared for a senior beagle in his last year. I care for and adopt mostly adult dogs, but I haven't met one I don't like! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible to fit in lots of home visits with overnight stay possible! I have my own dog that goes out 3 times a day already, so fitting in pet care is a breeze! I have an apartment with 2 bedrooms where dogs can sleep separate from my own dog. About: I had dogs and cats in my house my entire childhood. I helped feed them and walk them, gave them medications and played with them. I’ve even given a rowdy Doberman eye drops 😅 long story short, since moving away, I’m looking to have more pets in my life. About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!
