About: When I was around four, I started to go across the street and cat-sit for this empty-nest couple. They were older, and so they wanted to travel more. The lady owned two cats, a Birman and an Oriental Shorthair. The lady used to take them to cat shows, and they were her most prized possession. About: Growing up, I took the most responsibility for caring for our family German Shepherd. Her name was Daisy and I was responsible for teaching her how to sit and stay, we went on daily walks when the weather was nice and even though she was considered a family pet she was mine. I do not have training skills past basic household tricks but I have plenty of love to give. I don’t have much of a set routine at work. I have no plants at all (let alone anything that would be dangerous for animals), a water fountain that’s plugged up for continuous running water, and three litter boxes throughout the home. I am more equipped for cats when it comes to toys, scratching post/cat trees and treats.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my day-to-day life. I also have experience caring for and walking friends’ dogs and am excited to expand that experience by helping more local dog owners! I’m active and love being outdoors, so I’m happy to provide anything from a relaxed walk to a more active walk or run for dogs who need extra exercise. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I will follow all instructions and routines provided, including feeding, walks, medications if needed, and any specific household rules. For walks and runs, I’ll always prioritize your dog’s safety by keeping them securely leashed, paying attention to their surroundings, and adjusting the pace and distance based on their age, energy level, and needs. I’ll also provide updates so you can feel comfortable knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: When I was younger, I would often babysit for my neighbors to Yorkshire terriers, one of whom was both blind and deaf, and thus needed to be watched at all times. I also have a fur baby of my own, a cat that we have had for 10 plus years. On occasion, I have also babysat for my neighbor's dogs, and I have also worked at a dog shelter several times over the summer. I do work M-F, so I am generally available during the weekends, with a possibility of working during the week after work. Please reach out for specific availabilities. This depends on who the customer is, and what they require of me. I usually like to make sure that I know the rules before I start sitting, and as always I will respect the rules set by the client. I also usually inquire about the pets preferences and what they feel comfortable with.
About: I have had a dog from the time I was 12 until I was 22! I know how to take care of all ages, from puppies to our beloved senior doggies. I’m in search for my new study buddy to keep me company while I do my flash cards! I am currently in medical school, and my class schedule is predictable but flexible. With a low amount of required activities, I am available to spend more time with your babies! I usually study from home, which means we can both keep each-other company :) I have experience in dog sitting and house sitting. I will be more than happy to spend as much time as possible in your home so that your pets stay on as normal of a routine as possible. About: I have had pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and a hamster. I also worked at the Lexington Humane Society for over 4 years, as kennel technician and a full-time vet assistant where I cared for all of our animals and livestock. I have been a dog and kitten foster parent for over 3 years. I foster failed my 6th foster dog 🤭. I have experience with crate training, leash training, and basic obedience training, as well as training in emergency and senior animal care. I have a strong understanding of dog body language, experience with canine introductions, and have experience with medication administration. I have a passion for animals and would love to help care for yours! I am currently available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings as I am taking some time off of work before transitioning into human medicine. I am available for drop in visits or boarding in my home, both during the day and overnight. My own dog is crate trained, but spends his time free roaming in my bedroom while i’m away. I have a large crate available for use if needed. My dog loves other canine friends, so if you would like a companion for your pet, there is space for playtime in my home. Otherwise, I would be more than happy to travel to your home to spend some time with your fur babies! (Dogs will be kept separate if left unattended in my home). I do not have a yard, but have plenty of grassy areas and walking trails nearby for your furry friend to get some exercise!
About: I grew up taking care of two dogs (black lab and French Brittany) and one outdoor cat. I have been walking other people’s dogs for one year now. Throughout high school I used to dog sit for my neighbors and friends. I have always been a pet lover of all kinds, especially dogs and cats. I am very outdoorsy so I am more than capable of playing with pets outside! I am currently a college student, living in a house with my roommates who also all love dogs and any pets! About: I have house/dog sit all throughout high school from small doodles to pitbull’s. I can provide many references as needed and have a Bernese mountain dog and Bernedoodle at home! I enjoy working with all different kinds of breeds and very flexible! I am a college student with classes, Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. Therefore, I am completely free Friday through Monday and I’m open to housesitting at your house or mine throughout the week. I am open to come by for walks or potty breaks in between my classes as well. I have a Bernie doodle at home that is very friendly and loves to play. My yard is not fenced in, but I can easily walk them around for exercise and potty breaks.
