“This was my first DogVacay experience and I am so impressed with Mary! I live 30 minutes away from Mary, but it was worth the drive. You can tell when you walk into her home that Mary and her husband are truly dog lovers and take good care of their/other's pets. She sent me picture nearly daily while we were away for 8 days which was so nice to just know how our dog was doing and to simply see him. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup. I even had to change our dates and she had no problem accommodating the change request. I intend to use Mary moving forward for all of my vacations as Wrigley was very happy to stay with her and was taken such good care of. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies and more since I was a child. I love fur babies and will give your baby the love and care he/she needs when you are away. I am home and can give the attention and care your pet needs. My schedule is flexible, so I can easily fit in a walk, potty time or play time. I stay outside with my dog and cats while they play in the yard and on the large patio. Inside we all hang out together in the large living area, but I also have another room with a gate where a pet can go if she needs some space. I can have your dog sleep in the crate or outside the crate, whichever makes her the most comfortable and happy.

About: I’ve had 2 pups for over a decade. Bonzo is my first born, a 12yr old Mini Aussie. He’s a trip and great with my kids. Recently lost my 15yr old Sheba Inu/German Shepherd mix. Akai was the love of my life. Not so great with the kids when they became mobile. We had a couple warning bites when the kids were toddlers. Everyone said to get rid of him, but I wouldn’t even consider it. Akai was telling the kids “he doesn’t like that” and the kids needed to learn to respect that. I understand and respect pups, sometimes better than people. I can try to teach the basics to a pup, but definitely not a dog trainer. I’ve considered getting another pup, but Akai was one of a kind. Instead I thought I could share my extra puppy love with other pups. I’m a single mom with two school age kids. So I am available during school hours, 8am-1pm. During the summer my schedule will vary, but mostly available every day of the week. My pup is one of the kids. I give him just as much love and attention as my kids. About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life, and love them deeply. I volunteered with a cat rescue for 5 years, and last year started volunteering with a pitbull rescue, including doggy days out, events, and fostering. I wake up around 8am and feed my cat before letting my dogs out in the backyard for a potty break and to run around for a bit. I feed them and let them in to eat, and then play with them periodically while I work, and let them outside every two hours or so. If work allows, I take them for a midday walk as well. In the evening we hang out on the couch while I read or watch a show, and then they are crated for bedtime until we wake up. I have a fenced in backyard and two friendly dogs to play with. Both are happily crated at bedtime or when we leave the house.

About: I have been responsible for dogs for most of my life. I absolutely LOVE dogs. I have loved and cared for every breed of dog from a 4 lb teacup chihuahua to my now 80+ lb St. berdoodle, Luca. I currently work from home, so I’ll always be with your fur baby, and my Luca. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a screened in porch, Luca and I hang out on the porch pretty often to get the fresh air he loves. About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I have knowledge with working dogs, police, dogs, rescue dogs, all of the above. I have a retired police dog and a rescue pup along with three cats. Cold Brew my beagle/lab mix that I adopted from Ripley County Humane Society who loves playing in the kiddie pool, rope toys, snacks, and donut rawhide chews. I am reliable. I am nurturing. I am fun. I have family that watches my special needs daughter to provide me a few hours a day to do things like grocery shop and dog sit. PICTURES: I think my favorite part of my job is taking photos of your ADORABLE pets!!! A little bonus I like to throw in for new clients is printing a few amazing photos of your fur babies for you to keep. NO ESCAPEES: I am very careful to make sure there are no escapees. About: I live in Indianapolis with my husband and our two cats! We can’t yet afford our own dog, but I always jump at the chance to walk with, jog with, pet, feed, and love on other dogs! (See photos for proof). However, cats really have a special place in my heart. I also worked at two different veterinarian’s offices in 2020, 2023, and 2026 where we cared for dogs, cats, and rabbits. I am pet sitting while job searching, so I’m available to give your pets whatever they may need, whether that be medicine, special food, lots of bathroom breaks, or just some affection. “This was my first DogVacay experience and I am so impressed with Mary! I live 30 minutes away from Mary, but it was worth the drive. You can tell when you walk into her home that Mary and her husband are truly dog lovers and take good care of their/other's pets. She sent me picture nearly daily while we were away for 8 days which was so nice to just know how our dog was doing and to simply see him. She was very flexible with drop off and pickup. I even had to change our dates and she had no problem accommodating the change request. I intend to use Mary moving forward for all of my vacations as Wrigley was very happy to stay with her and was taken such good care of. Near or far from your home, Mary is worth the drive if you want your pet to be in a very loving home! ”

“My sweet little Ginger loves staying with Brooke, Bryan, Birdie, Daisy, and children. I feel stress free leaving my Ginger with them for a weekend. Ginger loves spending time with them and gets excited when we turn down their street and into driveway. They have a lovely home with a big fenced in backyard. Brooke is excellent at communication and provides daily updates. Ginger had a fun weekend exploring the yard, watching cartoons, and playing while I was away.
