About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 4 years now and I love all animals! I can do puppies all the way to senior pets and I have no problem with any breeds! I also love reptiles and rodents if you have any in addition to dogs or cats, i’d happily do anything you need me to do for them! I am a college student at siue but I still have a super flexible schedule and i have a lot of free time to hang out with pets! i’ve grown up with pets all my life and even worked at a doggy daycare in my hometown so i’d love to be there for pets who don’t like daycares and prefer to stay in their own space. About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, personalities, and backgrounds. I grew up with large-breed dogs and have loved dogs my entire life. When I moved out on my own, adopting a dog was one of the first things I did! I currently have three resident dogs, all of whom I trained myself. Two of the three have severe separation anxiety, so I'm quite well-versed in some of the behavioral traits that come along with that. For the past two years, I've also been actively involved in the dog rescue world by fostering. I've fostered 12 dogs ranging from young puppies who needed to learn the basics to adult dogs who came with more challenging behavioral needs such as resource guarding. I understand that not every dog is going to walk into a new environment perfectly behaved, and I genuinely enjoy meeting them where they are and helping them feel safe and comfortable. My goal is for every dog to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away! I currently work from home and have a very flexible schedule. My resident dogs still rule my daily routine. Your pup will get plenty of attention throughout the day/night and can have potty breaks as consistently as needed. I've house trained seven puppies over the past two years, so I'm very used to frequent potty breaks if that's something your pup needs. Otherwise, every 2-4 hours is pretty consistent with the routine my resident dogs are on. I've fostered dogs with a variety of different needs and have always worked it into my schedule. I want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home, so I'm happy to adapt my approach to each dog's individual needs and your preferences as a pet parent. I have a separate guest room that I've previously used for foster dogs who needed some quiet time or a slower introduction. If your pup needs their own space, they can have a dedicated area away from my resident dogs while still having plenty of company - I work from home, and the guest room also serves as my home office. I have an unfenced yard, so dogs are always taken outside on a leash. I also have a long line that allows fogs more freedom to sniff, explore, and play while remaining safely contained. Outdoor time is always supervised, whether your dog is staying with me or I'm caring for them in your home. When caring for a dog in your home, I'll follow your instructions and do my best to maintain your pup's normal routine, including feeding, medication, walks, potty breaks, and any other care they're accustomed to. My priority is always safety, communication, and making sure your pup feels comfortable and well cared for while you're away. I've had people care for my own dogs while I've been away, and I've experienced both sides of the spectrum - sitters who went above and beyond and sitters who left me wishing I'd been there myself. I know how important it is to maintain a dog's routine and give them the same care and attention they're used to. I’ve pet sat a good variety of dogs, from border collies to labs and teeny little Pomeranian mixes! About: I’ve grown up around rescued misunderstood breeds so I know how important quality care for your pet‘s personality can be. I’ve been taking care of family and friends pets since I was 12, as well as volunteered at local shelters. I currently work full time, M-F but love animals and have decided to pick it up on the side. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats at home that I spend most of my free time loving on. I have my own 3 year old cocker spaniel that I rescued 4 year ago who super laidback and well trained. I also have a 3 year old doodle mix who is higher energy but loves to snuggle as well. I have a very large crate that would be comfortable for nearly any breed if needed, as long as multiple small ones for daytime naps, etc.
About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life, and I absolutely love them! I have experience with puppies all the way to senior dogs, and I can easily adapt to special instructions if need be. I am a college student currently on summer break, so I have LOTS of free time during days of the week and weekends to take care of your dog or cat! I do not offer pet services in my own home, but I can stop by your home to feed them, crate them if needed, play with them, walk them, etc.

He did have a bit of an accident overnight and she was able to handle it and was completely understanding of his nervousness of being somewhere new. If you are hesitant on leaving your dogs someplace I understand. However you can rest easy with Christina. She loves dogs and does a great job with them.”
