“Mercedes is the best at what she does. My dog loves her and her family. Very loving and caring and gives constant updates so you feel at ease if you’re wondering how your pet is doing. Overall 5stars and would highly recommend. Thanks again Mercedes. See you next trip!”

“It was our first time boarding Koda, so we were a little nervous about how he would handle it. Megan made the entire experience incredibly comforting and seamless. She kept us updated throughout the day, responded quickly, and truly put our minds at ease. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Janet is amazing! My dog loves coming to board with her and her fur babies. She is kind to him and treats him as one of her own! I’m so grateful when she has availability. Highly recommend!!!”

“Kori obviously had a great time at Jim’s. Jim is very organized and attended to my senior dog’s needs well in the quiet and relaxed environment she needs. I would feel comfortable having Kori stay with Jim again.”

“She is a great dog sitter. I was constantly updated with pics showing how happy Harley was during his stay. I appreciate her accommodating to keep our pet at the last minute. Thanks Kendra!! You will be seeing Harley again soon.”

“Buddy had a wonderful time with them. They were extremely caring, responsive, and he had a great time with their dogs. They also kept me updated with pictures which I loved.”

“My dog was so calm after I picked him up boarding with Kyla. Energetically, I could tell that he was very well taken care of with her - no stress, no anxiety, just peace. TY KYLA!!!”

“Absolutely loved Iman! Friendly and communicative with plenty of photos throughout our dog’s boarding. Iman accepted our boarding request the same day that we need boarding and she even threw a small birthday party for our pup! We would love to have Iman care for our dog any time in the future.”

“I can’t say enough amazing things about Mike and Joanna! This was my first time ever booking on Rover, and I’ll be honest — I was nervous. They didn’t have many reviews yet, no star rating, and their overnight rate seemed almost too good to be true. I hesitated… but I am SO glad I took the chance. They are truly a diamond in the rough. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive. Every time I reached out to check on my dog, Whiskey, they replied immediately and kept me completely at ease. They sent the cutest Valentine’s Day photos during her stay, which absolutely made my day. You can tell they genuinely care. The sweetest surprise? They sent Whiskey home wearing a custom bandana with her name on it. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail says everything. If you’re on the fence because of their profile, don’t be. Sometimes the best sitters just haven’t built up their reviews yet. Mike and Joanna are hands down the BEST, and I will 100% be booking with them again.”

“This is Manuel’s 2nd time watching my kitty Luna and he was just as awesome as the first time! He sent me a ton of photos, was very flexible with pick up and drop off times and overall very communicative.”

“Amy was AMAZING!!!!!! My dog was able to run outside, go on walks and car rides, he cuddled up on the couch. Amy gave me updates with pictures and videos, my family loved seeing how his vacation was going and we looked forward to seeing the friends he made”

“Data was great at sending pictures and staying in constant communication. Piper probably got more walks there than she does when we are at home! Piper was comfortable and happy the whole time!”

“Liliana and her family gave me such peace of mind to leave my Whiskey in their care. The initial visit with the family in their beautiful home was so warm and friendly. And while I was away, I was so grateful for the updates and pics throughout each day. Whiskey got attached to one of Liliana’s teenage daughters. So sweet!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Kamiah! She took such amazing care of my dog, Autumn, and made the whole experience stress free for both of us. Autumn absolutely loves her, and it was clear from the start that Kamiah treats her like family. She kept me updated throughout Autumn’s entire stay with plenty of pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was so reassuring to see how happy and comfortable Autumn was in her care. I highly recommend Kamiah to anyone looking for someone reliable, loving, and attentive to care for their fur babies. She’s truly the best!”

“I believe this is my 4th time booking with Tabitha, and will continue to book with her. Chapo stayed with her while I was out of town, and she was great. Communication and pictures were always on point. Very fleixable as well. Would highly recommend”

“Shani responded quickly to take a last minute long term booking. She was very communicative & hands on with Malcolm. Felt very comfortable leaving my baby while out of the country.”

“LOVE HER LOVE HER LOVE HER and so does Mac!! She was patient helpful and gentle with my brat. He seemed very comfortable and happy with her. Definitely recommend!”

“This was Alejandra's second time watching our cats. She did such a great job our cats didn't want to leave! They were well taken care of and Alejandra kept us updated on how they were doing while we were away.”

“Tara is fantastic. She gave Jim Catsby extensive attention and affection .He was engaged and playing beyond his usual low activity level. I was thrilled with all the fabulous photos she sent me through the day. I was so happy to know he wasn’t lonely or missing me. Thanks, Tara!”

About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.

About: I love dogs. I have had one Doberman, one mutt who was the best, and two English Mastiffs. I had a dog everyday of my life until five years ago when my 200 pound English Mastiff named Max died. It broke my heart and hasn't felt right to replace him. But I love dogs and cherish watching the relationship people have with their dogs. I say hi to every pooch on the street that I pass. Rest assured, your dog will be treated with the utmost friendliness and care imaginable. I work from home so your dog will always have a friendly companion around. A side note. No Pit Bulls, No Rottweilers, No Stafford Terriers, No Husky of any sort, and No Doodles of any sort. I'm sure if any of these five dogs are part of your family that you are a wonderful person and so is your dog. However, they are far from my cup of tea. I work from home. I'm home basically all the time. And other than that, I just work on landscaping my front and back yards. I have a fenced in yard. Your pet is in great hands. I work from home. I'm home basically all the time. And other than that, I just work on landscaping my front and back yards. I have a fenced in yard. Your pet is in great hands.

“Gionna is absolutely fantastic! My rescue cat, who rarely comes out for anyone except me, followed Gionna around the house while she visited. I have to believe that means she’s a wonderful person!”

About: I absolutely love all animals, especially dogs and cats! I have experience dog-sitting and dog-walking in the past, and I would love to expand and sit more frequently!! I am currently a college student, meaning the summers I have a lot of free time on my hands! I do not have a summer job this year, meaning I have a lot of time to pet-sit! I do not offer pet-sitting in my own home, as I am a student living with my family. I am very clean, and will always keep client's homes tidy and left the way I came! When caring for pets, I always follow client's feeding/walking schedules, and play with them!

“We are so glad to have found Toni to watch our kitties! They were so loved and well taken care of. We appreciate her communication, thorough reports, and her genuine care for them! Will definitely be using her services again in the future.”

I have a very flexible work from home schedule so I am home all day. I have plenty of time for play time and walks! About: Tail-wagging care you can count on! I have 20 years of pet sitting experience with a wide range of pet personalities and temperaments and 25 years of loving my own fur babies as well. I specialize in pup care (housetraining, play based development, walk adventures), senior pet care (gentle handling, mobility support, medication administration), and special needs and rescue animals (with an understanding of anxiety, therapeutic support, and slow-trust building). I treat every pet like my own—with kindness, reliability, and plenty of playtime, walks, and cuddles. You can relax knowing your pet is not only safe, but genuinely cared for. :) I'm currently working part time from home so I prioritize caring for your pet with the same attention I gave to my own pets - making sure they’re happy, healthy, and safe while you're away. I have a fenced yard and an animal-friendly home. Currently we have three sweet kittens in the home (Luna, Notte, and Silvio) and, over the last few years, we had a dog Nala and two cats Namu and Malu that passed on after 15-17 years of life. I now have two children (my daughter is 7, and my son is 4) who love animals and are very gentle and caring. If your pet doesn't prefer children, please let me know and I wouldn't bring them with me to care for your pet. :)

“I recently adopted a rescue who is having a hard time adjusting to new people. Kathryn did a great job with him! Despite him growling at her she was patient with him and helped him calm down so she could walk him. She was reliable and understanding. I then asked her if she could come again last minute and without hesitation she agreed! I would definitely work with Kathryn again!”

“June can be nervous initially but warmed up to Patrycja quickly! I can tell June enjoyed her walks by the pictures and updates sent! Patrycja really went above and beyond to make sure June was comfortable! We both appreciated the help today! Thank you!”

“Katie took such good care of our pup! She was so aware of how he was feeling while we were away for 5 days, did whatever she could to make him happy. Always posted pics and check ins. Very reliable as well!”

About: Hi! I'm looking for new wonderful pets to walk and take care of! I have taken in four rescues, all with different special physical and behavioral needs. I currently have two Pitbull mixes, one Lab mix, and a multiple tropical aquariums! Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was young. A favorite activity of mine is taking my dogs to local forest preserves where they can play and exert their energy. I can administer eye drops, pills, and ointments to pets as my own have different medications that they need on a regular basis. I have also taken classes in care for companion animals. Special needs animals have a forever place in my heart because I believe that every pup or cat deserves to enjoy life to the fullest! Whether that is hiking at a trail, swimming in a lake, or curling up on the couch- I'd love to help them do that! Currently very open for scheduling. Stays for over a week will have to be discussed as I do have to ensure time to take care of my own animals. I do not host animals in my own home, but I am adaptable to a variety of routines and activities you and your pet would enjoy.
About: I have had my dog now for almost 10 years. I used to care for my dog as well as a roommates dog at one point. I can give medications and can provide First Aid/Heimlich if needed. Strong enough to hold back and tame my 60 pound Boxer mix. I’ve also helped care/walk my sisters Great Dane and my friends smaller dogs for 7 years or so. I love animals and if you have other little friends who need care, just let me know what to do and I’ll do it. I work night shift as an ICU Nurse so I’m home all day. I can pop in and check on your babies any time during the day. I would need to know in advance only cause I do eventually sleep during the day. I’m aware you are trusting me with one of the most important members of your family, I’ll be happy to leave a photo and an update of any changes , good or bad, so you can enjoy some peace of mind that everything is alright.

About: As a professional pet photographer, my approach to pet care is rooted in patience, kindness, and a safety-first mindset. My experience working around animals has taught me that every pet has their own unique personality, and I love letting them move at their own comfortable pace. My top priority during every drop-in visit or walk is to provide a calm, reliable, and trustworthy experience for both you and your pet. I am highly detail-oriented and take pride in strictly following your specific feeding, scheduling, and safety instructions so your pet's routine stays exactly the way they like it. Plus, as a natural bonus of my background, you can always look forward to receiving bright, beautiful photo updates from our sessions so you can see exactly how happy and safe your best friend is while you're away! I am a photographer that works part time, My schedule may change from week to week basis depending on shoots. I am usually available for at least several hours throughout the day but this may fluctuate I care for pets by following your instructions perfectly to keep their routine normal. As a pet parent to Oscar and my 18-year-old pup, Riley, I have personal experience with both active dogs and senior pets who need a gentle, patient touch. I focus on keeping every drop-in and walk entirely safe, calm, and reliable

“With the busy schedules my husband and I have, we use Melissa weekly for recurring walks. She is great about picking up extra walks when we need, so our fur baby has some consistency with all traveling I do for work. Bruno loves her and I love the peace of mind she gives us! Thanks Melissa for all you do!”

About: I have two cats and have taken care of numerous friends’ dogs while on vacations. I routinely feed and clean up after my cats. I genuinely enjoy walking and caring for friends’ dogs. I’m currently working full-time from home. I am picking up shifts at a store in the mall as well. I enjoy filling my life with helpful tasks. I am very attentive to any special needs or unique quirks your pet may have. I want to let your pets personality shine and give them encouragement to live happy lives.
“My first dog, I’m SUPER overprotective and neurotic about her, lol:). Ami was soooo wonderful with my “baby.” She’s trustworthy, honest, flexible, caring and knowledgeable about dogs! My baby LOVES her! Highly recommend!”
About: I’ve lived around animals since I was a little girl and have owned a diverse range of pets myself. I grew up caring for my Hungarian Vizsla into college as well, even while he got sick and eventually had to be put down. I have experience owning rabbits, gerbils, dogs, cats. I live with two sweet cats now with my boyfriend and his mother, I’m home most of the time taking care of them. I love animals and have always felt more comfortable with them than humans sometimes. I believe every pet should be taken care of with compassion and a watchful eye. I understand animal body language and always respect what the animal needs or wants for their own sake and for my safety. I’d be honored to help any family with their furry babies! Since I am a university student online my schedule is very open and flexible. I expect most pet sitting jobs to require seeing the animals at least 3 times a day, every day needed. I am looking for another part time job but would allow me to leave work in cases where animals need care in the afternoon as well. Our cats are kept inside most of the time but we do have a yard with a fence that allows them to be outside supervised. If the weather allows for it, we let them out to get exercise in and just have some stimulation. We have to feed them separately as one cat likes to try to steal food from the other. They’re both on their diets to lose some weight so feeding times are in order now for them.
“Gionna was great! From the first message I sent to inquire through the last message after her last walk with Roxy! Her communication was spot on and her care for Roxy was very assuring. She came for a meet and greet since she was Roxy’s first walker. They hit it off and had great walks while I was gone making me more relaxed and less worried to enjoy my weekend away. Thank you Gionna, we can’t wait to work with you again!”

About: Over the years, I’ve found myself drawn to caring for animals in small but meaningful ways. Whether it’s walking or playing with a family member’s energetic dog or simply offering companionship, I’ve always found fulfillment in their presence. What I may lack in professional dog care experience, I make up for with genuine attentiveness, patience, and affection. I understand how important it is to build trust with pets and their humans, and I’m committed to creating a safe, loving environment for your pets. As someone who’s cared for my aunt’s cats—including administering medication and tuning in to their unique personalities—I bring that same level of thoughtfulness and care to my work with dogs. As someone who works from home full-time, I have a flexible schedule and the freedom to work from just about anywhere—making it easy for me to prioritize your pet’s care. Whether it's a mid-day walk, potty break, or weekend with the owner's out of town, I can be present and attentive to assist you in caring for your pet's needs. Work with my schedule and I can work with your's. When providing services in your home, I will treat your space with the same respect and care I give your pets. I understand how important it is to feel comfortable with someone entering your home, and I take that trust seriously. With a patient, compassionate approach, I aim to create a calm and safe environment where your pet can feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for. As well as ensuring that the guidelines you provide are followed.

“I can’t recommend her enough! She was an absolute sweetheart and took incredible care of my dogs. She kept me updated with the perfect amount of messages and photos, and it was so clear how much she genuinely loved and played with them as if they were her own. She also went above and beyond to accommodate a family emergency I was dealing with, and I’m so grateful for her kindness and flexibility. If you get the chance to book with her, do it. Your pets will be in the best hands.”

“Sandy was absolutely exceptional for our first time using an over night stay with our 4 month old puppy. Sandy helped us be at ease with lots of photos and amazing care, our puppy had the best time and we even think felt sad to leave Sandy’s care! We are so grateful for her.”

“Desiree was amazing with our 4 year old terrier mix and high energy 5 month old puppy! We were nervous with our puppy who hadn’t been in boarding before, and she was great with keeping us posted on their behavior & sending daily pics/updates. Our dogs came home exhausted from having so much fun at their time away. She was also great with our 4 y.o. who preferred her personal space around the younger dogs there. We will absolutely use her again!”

“Our pup was so well-loved by Patricia and her family. From the second she met our dog I knew she was in good hands and the regular updates and pictures she sent reassured us of that. Could not recommend her services more highly!”

“Teddy is our 150lb Bullmastiff and EK and her family welcomed him like the rest of the tiny tots that are looked after daily. She is trustworthy and reliable. We hadn't been on a real vacation in 2yrs we had no issues or worries while gone.”

“Ethel has cared for our Luna multiple times over the last year and we cannot say enough about how awesome Ethel is. Luna comes home happily exhausted after her fun stays with Ethel and Ethel’s dog Tutsi. Ethel provides plenty of photo and text updates while on their walks and visits to the dog park. She’s responsive to messages, and she’s flexible and accommodating for dropoff and pickup. Ethel is so incredibly kind, and we always know Luna is in good hands with her. We’re so grateful to have found Ethel and you will be, too.”
