About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals is truly a passion of mine. I currently have one dog and two cats who are a huge part of my family, we love them dearly and treat all pets in our home the same way. I work part-time, which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to give your pup lots of attention, playtime, and care. We also like to sit on the front porch in the shade (gated) and watch the world go by. It’s a dead end street; so it’s very relaxed & chill. We are a few blocks from Main Street and town. About: I love dogs and have been working with them for 11 years. I have been dog sitting for about 15 years and love caring for other animals while their family is away. I am a stay at home mom so I prefer to dog sit in my own home I work at an animal hospital in Wheaton, IL and I used to work at a doggie daycare so I know all about dog behavior and how to handle/control them. I also have a certificate in Dog CPR and a certificate for Veterinary Assistant work. I am comfortable with all breeds and dogs of all sizes. I dog sit frequently for a family with 3 dogs and 2 cats! I was the owner of a small mani/pedi business and boutique in downtown Hinsdale, IL for 25 yrs.during which time I also studied and offered foot reflexology. It was also during this time that I first started caring for clients pets and homes while they traveled. Unfortunately due to health issues and the onset of Co-Vid, I was forced to close my shop. I do however continue foot reflexology massage for die hard clients in their homes today! My love for creativity also lives on in a hobby turned hopeful business of painting small pieces of furniture. A particular niche of end tables turned into pet beds is becoming my new favorite 🤩. I would love to schedule a meet and greet with you and your pet! It is an essential part of the process for first time clients, as forming a bond with your pet and establishing a good fit for everyone is a top priority! I currently work part-time both from home and out of clients homes as described above, and have flexible hours. Traveling more than 8 miles from my home base of Villa Park for dog walks and drop ins are a bit more tricky, but overnights are not a problem for a distance up to 15 miles. While I currently am not able to board animals at my home, a good portion of my business is caring for them in yours. They are treated with patience and compassion, and receive all the love and attention that I give my own with safety being my number one concern. I will look after your home and be happy to help out with any extra needs you may have (water plants, check mail, take out garbage, etc.)

We have experience with feeding routines, walks, playtime, enrichment, and recognizing when a pet needs extra patience, comfort, or quiet time. We are an LGBTQ+ household and believe every family member — human or furry — deserves to feel safe, respected, and cared for. Our goal is to provide dependable, loving care and give pet parents peace of mind knowing their pets are welcomed into a caring home and treated with the same attention and affection we provide our own. I work full-time during the day from 9:30 AM–5:30 PM, and my partner has the same schedule. While we are away, pets have a consistent routine, and once we are home, they receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. Whoever arrives home first is ready to greet the pets, provide potty breaks, meals, playtime, and any attention they need. My job is only about 10 minutes from home, so I have the flexibility to accommodate additional check-ins or special needs when needed, including extended lunch breaks for pets who require extra attention. On weekends, we are home and able to provide extra companionship, backyard time, play, and relaxation. We understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine and creating a calm, comfortable environment where they feel safe, loved, and cared for while away from their family. We prioritize safety, comfort, and trust for every pet that stays in our home. We live in a 3-story townhome with a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for outdoor time, play, and fresh air. Our finished basement offers a dedicated pet area where pets can have their own quiet space to relax, decompress, or have separation when needed. We understand that every pet has different comfort levels and needs. If you would like your pet to have companionship during their stay, we can arrange a slow and supervised introduction with our pets to make sure everyone is comfortable. If your pet prefers their own space, we can keep pets completely separated for the entirety of their stay. Our own pets will have access to the upstairs third level of our home, allowing us to create a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. Our home already includes two small dogs and a cat, so we have experience managing pets with different personalities, routines, and boundaries.

And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that!
