“Palvi is very nice and did a great job in taking care of Snoopy over 5 days while we were on vacation. Snoopy is shy, anxious by nature & picky eater. Snoopy got comfortable with her family in short time & had good fun time playing hide & seek with her kids & her pet Corgi. We are so thankful that we found Palvi & would definitely recommend her.”

“Katy did a great job taking care of Charlie! I appreciated the pictures and updates while I was gone. I also had a last minute work emergency that would have made drop off before heading to the airport really tough, but Katy was very accommodating and picked Charlie up from my apartment. It was also very rainy while I was gone and I was mentally prepared to pick up a very dirty white dog that needed a bath immediately, so I was pleasantly surprised when I got Charlie and he looked very clean. Thanks Katy!”

I highly recommend Fredy to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

“My mini poodle was with Fanny for two nights. Fanny took care of him very well and she sent pictures and videos every day. My dog was very happy with her and her own little dog. Highly recommended!”

“Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of Tintin while I was away. Knowing that they were in your hands gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to enjoy a truly worry-free vacation. I really appreciate the updates, the kindness, and the attention you gave—it’s clear you treat pets like family. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. I would happily recommend you to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring. Thank you again for everything!”

“So glad we found Ashley to take care of our 10-11 week old dachshund puppy for over a week while we were on vacation. She created a safe and cozy space where our pup could be secure and not be crated all day, and still be able to play and interact with her kiddos and other pups. Our pup got a lot of love and attention, I was afraid he wasn't going to want to come home! Highly recommended!”

“Minqi and her husband were so good with Winston. He is a little shy but he warmed right up to them. Minqi sent lots of pictures and even videos so I knew he was in good hands. I would definitely use them again. Thank you”

Canon loved his time with Beth and her family!! Beth provided daily updates and pictures which we loved seeing. Between Beth, her kids and her dog Rai, Canon got lots of love and attention!! And plenty of running around. Boy slept so good the night we picked him up. We would highly recommend Beth and would definitely use her again!!”

Whether your cat prefers cuddles or quiet company, I follow your instructions carefully and treat every cat with the same patience and love I give JoJo every day. Your cat is in safe, caring hands.

About: Hi there! We’re Colleen and Ryan — a huge animal-loving family from Aurora, Illinois. We both grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and truly can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, we’ve cared for pets of all sizes, from 10-lb lap dogs to 115-lb gentle giants! We live in a house with a large fenced-in yard that’s perfect for playtime, walks, and fetch. Our two boys (ages 6 and 8) are just as kind and gentle with animals as we are — they’ve grown up learning how to love and care for pets. Our furry family currently includes our playful labradoodle, Skye, our spirited chihuahua, Nacho, and our two brother cats, Pete and Steve — who basically think they’re dogs and love to join in on the fun! I (Colleen) work from home in talent acquisition, and Ryan is a high school science teacher, so there’s almost always someone home to give your pets plenty of attention and care. We’d love the chance to help care for your pets as if they were our own — they’ll be in wonderful hands with us!
“Amanda is fantastic!! Our furbaby Lucy is a shy kitty but is warming up to her with each visit. Love the communication and pics of her while we are away. Gives us peace of mind she is in good hands. Highly recommend Amanda!”

About: Hi, my name is Erin, and I have been around dogs since the day I was born. I have dog sat many different breeds for my neighbors and family friends. I worked at a dog groomer's as a bather and learned so much about taking care of dogs. The most important lesson I learned during that experience is that patience and kindness are key when interacting with a new dog. Having these two skills is especially important for taking care of senior dogs and nervous dogs. I also learned that a dog experiences the world through their nose. With that knowledge, I always make sure to include sniffing time on walks. Taking different paths and experiencing new smells keeps their mind active and makes the walk 10 times better. I use all of my knowledge to make sure that each walk is a fun and rewarding experience. I can't wait to meet your pup! For the next few months, I will be on summer break. I only work on the weekends and have always wanted to give Rover a try to meet some new furry friends and help them exercise! I will have plenty of free time during the week, but I am willing to chat to see what works best for you and your dog! I have two dogs whom I love to take on walks in my free time. I always make sure to have two hands on the leash at all times when walking both of my dogs. My older dog (110 lb) is quite reactive and could try to chase something at any moment, so I need to be prepared. My younger dog (70 lb) is very sweet and relaxed on walks and not reactive to other dogs or people; however, he is very skittish around loud noises. If he gets frightened, he may try to run and hide, so keeping two hands on the leash is crucial. I never push my puppies beyond their limit, especially if it is hot outside. Their health and safety are always a concern.

About: I Take a Personalized Approach and Maintain Constant Communication I don’t treat all pets the same. I carefully assess the behavior of each animal, understanding that an adult dog has different needs than an energetic puppy or a shy cat. Before accepting any booking, I conduct a detailed consultation to learn about your pet’s routine, fears, favorite activities, and specific medical needs. In addition, I provide regular updates, photos, and videos so you always know how your pet is doing. I don’t just say, “They’re doing fine.” I’ll tell you how well they ate, how much they played, and how their walk went, giving you complete peace of mind while you’re away. My time management and the way I integrate pet care into my daily routine are designed to ensure consistency and individualized attention, as your pet’s routine is essential to their well-being. In summary, my schedule is built around reliability, consistency, and controlled flexibility, ensuring that your pet’s care fits seamlessly into my day without ever feeling rushed or stressful. ● Home-Like Environment, No Crates: My home is fully pet-proofed and designed to make pets feel like they’re in a second home. Pets live alongside me and are never confined to a crate unless specifically requested by the owner. ● 24/7 Supervision: Pets staying in my home receive constant supervision. I only leave for very short, planned periods, and only when the pet is comfortable, safe, and secure. ● Small Group Care: I accept only a limited number of pets at a time to ensure each one receives individualized attention and that the environment remains calm, safe, and manageable. ● Secure Exercise Area: My home features a securely fenced yard where pets can enjoy supervised playtime and socialization (with the owner's approval and if the pet enjoys interacting with others). In summary, I choose the care option that best meets your pet’s emotional and physical needs—whether that means the comfort of staying in their own home or the constant supervision and companionship offered in mine.

“Mike was very gentle and caring with my sweet sensitive dog Penny for a day of doggie daycare in his home. She was struggling emotionally due to our recent relocation from out of state and being separated from me during my workdays at my new job. About: Over the past year, I have been actively pet sitting for friends, caring for both dogs and cats with different personalities, routines, and needs. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, litter box care, and following specific instructions to ensure pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am retired and have a very flexible schedule and am available most days for pet sitting, walking, and playtime, except when I’m traveling occasionally. My journey into Rover boarding comes from a place of deep love for dogs. After 11 wonderful years together, my beloved dog passed away two years ago. While my heart has healed, I missed the joyful energy, the sound of paws on the floor, and the companionship of a dog in the house. I chose to start pet boarding because it allows me to pour all that lifetime of accumulated love, patience, and spoiling into your furry baby! When your pet stays with me, they won't just be "looked after"—they will be treated with the exact same deep devotion, warmth, and care that I gave my own boy for over a decade. I will only take one pet a time for boarding. Pet will enjoy completely unrestricted, free roam of our home, plenty of one-on-one attention, and a daily routine tailored exactly to their comfort level. Please bring your pets food and treats. If your pet has favorite bed/blanket/toy, bring them, otherwise they can use our dog bed, our sofa and, my bed! Small or medium size dogs (<40 lb).
“Adithya was terrific with my high energy German Shepherd Champ. Even on a rainy day he kept Champ busy playing so he was nice and tired when we picked him up. He sent pictures and kept me posted throughout the day. Would definitely recommend him. He also responded very quickly to my request.”

Whether it was a potty break, water break, or pictures of my dog she was on top of keeping me in the loop. She was punctual too and was flexible with changing the walk schedule if I needed to for weather.”

About: Pets are like family! They show us unconditional love and affection. When you are away you want to know your pet is in good hands with someone who has experience, is dependable and you can trust. I have owned pets for most of my life of various breeds and sizes and have a lot of experience with pet care. I am a registered nurse by trade and am comfortable administering medications or providing special care/ bathing services if needed. I value exercise and am very active , so if your pooch has lots of energy to burn they will be in good hands! You can be comfortable knowing your pet will be showered with love and totally pampered while you are away! My neighbor is older and has limited mobility so I regularly take his pup out for walks or watch her at my place where she can play with my kids. My sister lives nearby and I watch her doggos when she is out of town. I have provided doggy day care and boarding services on Rover for several years :) You want to know that your pets are in good hands and that they will be safe while you are away. Safety is a top priority when I am pet sitting. I make sure to follow any specific requests owners may have and can send pics so you feel more comfortable!
“Elena took wonderful care of our two French bulldogs. She was in constant communication during our time away and sent us many pictures and videos. She also asked follow up questions as needed. Our doggies were well taken care of with Elena and we will definitely be asking her to dog walk again for us in the future.”
“Gillian took great care of my geriatric dog on a moments notice since I’m in town for the holidays! I was so grateful for her availability so we could go downtown for the day and not have to worry about the pup. She was in great hands!”

“Jack was able to come in on short notice when my dog really needed it! And my dog took to him very quickly. After the walk I got a detailed synopsis of the walk as well. Highly recommended!”

“Selena is quick to respond and so easy to work with! You can tell that she really loves animals - I completely trusted her with my greyhound, Dahlia. Would 100% rebook!”

“Fredy took such amazing care of my German Shepherd. He constantly sent me pictures and updates, and truly made him feel like part of the family. You can tell he genuinely loves animals and treats them like his own. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was happy, loved, and well cared for while I was away. I highly recommend Fredy to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their pets!”

“New dog mom and first time Rover user and so so happy that my first connection was Beth! From the start of the conversation through booking she was so helpful and really put my mind at ease!!

“Patricia took amazing care of my fur babies. There were a lot of storms while we were gone and my dogs are very anxious I’m so grateful they were in such amazing care.”

About: My name is Sandra and I’m 28 years old. I have two furry family members; Bonbon, an 11 year old poodle mix, and Wally, a 3 year old collie mix. I currently work as a Dog Groomer, but have about 6 years of experience in the Dog Daycare industry. My past jobs have given me the experience needed to handle and care for dogs of all sizes. They’ve also taught me how to greet an unfamiliar dog, how to do feedings for various dogs, administer medication, and how to detect signs of aggression and fear. With my personal experience and professional experience, I am well equipped to handle dogs in all stages of life. With that being said, It takes patience, hard work, and honesty to care for a dog. My offered services to clients are met with the highest of standards. I believe in giving 100% in all work that I do, meaning you’ll never receive less than excellent care for your best friend. It’s difficult to leave your dog in the hands of a stranger, however, I always treat every dog the way I would want my dog to be treated: like family. If you have any questions regarding my services, please feel free to reach out! I am fully committed to Rover, meaning I have full availability, and can give your furry family members my full attention 7 days a week. I care for your pets the way I would care for my own. Every furry family member is different, and you know them best. I can guarantee my care will reflect the dog’s lifestyle. Whether you crate at home, or your pet snuggles in bed with yourself; I aim to keep the routine as close as possible to that at home.
“This was the longest I’ve left my fur babies and so happy it was with Kendall. She sent me updates every day. I love that her while family makes sure your pets are loved and well taken care of. She makes leaving my pets easier. Can’t wait for them to stay with her again”

“Ashley was great with our 7-month old German Shepherd! I was a little nervous since he’s still a pup with lots of energy, but it went so well. She took him on long walks, her daughter taught him “paw” ☺️ Highly recommend!!”
About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old,I've also taken care of special needs dogs and other animals as I am an animal lover. I am actually majoring in animal biology and veterinary medicine so that I can become a veterinarian. I was president of my animal club all through high school where I would set up and host adoption events, set up volunteer days at the human society and other animal shelters. There were even days I would set aside to make treats, toys and blankets for shelter dogs and other animals. I am usually free 24/7 so I'll have a bunch of free time to play and love on your fur babies, especially if they have a lot of energy and need to burn it off and run around. I do not start school until the fall but even then it is online so I will still have plenty of time to give them all my attention. I can easily crate your pup if need be and I also have doggy gates so they won't be able to run out of the door. I always have treats and toys on me and I stay by a dog friendly park to keep your dog occupied and engaging in some sort activity.
