About: My entire life, I’ve been that person that, within minutes of meeting someone’s pet, hears something like, “they usually don’t warm up to people like that!" Animals (& babies) have always been my thing. On top of growing up with a ludicrous number of cats plus one sweetie of a dog (who thought she was a cat lol), I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting on the side for friends, neighbors, and others for decades. I’m currently transitioning from being a career nanny to working from home part-time, so I’m looking for enjoyable side gigs that get me out of the house and moving! I'm not available to leave home for gigs in the mornings (this doesn't apply to morning walks when boarding), but most of my afternoons and evenings are free! I do not have a vehicle, so you'll need to be accessible to me via walking or CTA from Logan Square. I live alone with no pets, so my space is uncomplicated! It's not the largest space, but I do have a bedroom, living room, and large kitchen in a cool, garden apartment with direct access to outside (only a few steps).

About: Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to have pets until I was 19 which is when I adopted my first cat, Sabrina. She’s been with me ever since! Although I live with 6 cats, 2 of them are technically not mine but my siblings cats. I still care for them all the same. I’ve fostered kittens before and I’ve potty trained them and bottle fed them as well. I’ve also given my cats medication before even though it wasn’t long term, I have some experience with it. I’ve taken care of my friend’s pets, most of them have cats. For the cats, I’ve mainly been asked to come over during the day and evening to feed them, change their litter and spend some time with them. I’ve taken one of my cats on walks! I’ve taken care of one dog before for my friend and she didn’t require any walking outside of the house; so I would let them use the bathroom in my friends yard and they would come right back inside to lay on the couch. I have several family members that have dogs in their family and I’ve helped take care of them while they ran errands. I’ve played with their dogs, and accompanied them on their walks, but I’ve never fully taken care of them without their owners being there. Overall I have about 6 years of experience taking care of cats and about 2 years worth of experience with dogs!

About: I do take up to 3 clients at a time, so I can only accept dogs that get along well with other dogs. I am doing Rover full time. Which means more time to spend on walks, playing and affection time ! I won't be distracted with any electronic device, when outdoors with your dog. I don't smoke, drink or party. I grew up caring for a couple amazing dogs. I've taken care of my brother's, neighbors and friends dogs. I love being outdoors and being active, so if your dog has alot of energy, he'll be sleeping like a baby by the end of the day. I currently don't have any pets of my own. I'm looking forward to making memorable moments with your dog(s). I can take your dog on an hour long early morning walk/run near a park close to where I live, so we can also play ball, Frisbee or with a toy! Then I could take your dog to 1-3 additional walks throughout the day. I try to make the dog feel at home,by being calm and trying to understand his/her body language, quirks and personality. Giving them affection and playing with them, but also some alone time.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years. I treat my puppy like a family member and will do the same for yours! Since they are family they are allowed on the couch and will get plenty of belly rubs & cuddles. I work from home. My pup and I go for a walk through the park or around the neighborhood first thing at 7:30 am and then usually breakfast is serve. We go back four our next walk at 11:30/12 then we go out again after work at 5pm. This one’s a longer walk and we follow that with play time and dinner. :) That is followed by cuddles. I will send you super cute updated images so you can see what fun your fur baby is up to :) . I also have a fenced small backyard incase your pup wants to do some light leash free jogging with me.

About: My entire life, I’ve been that person that, within minutes of meeting someone’s pet, hears something like, “they usually don’t warm up to people like that!" Animals (& babies) have always been my thing. On top of growing up with a ludicrous number of cats plus one sweetie of a dog (who thought she was a cat lol), I’ve been dog walking and pet sitting on the side for friends, neighbors, and others for decades. I’m currently transitioning from being a career nanny to working from home part-time, so I’m looking for enjoyable side gigs that get me out of the house and moving! I'm not available to leave home for gigs in the mornings (this doesn't apply to morning walks when boarding), but most of my afternoons and evenings are free! I do not have a vehicle, so you'll need to be accessible to me via walking or CTA from Logan Square. I live alone with no pets, so my space is uncomplicated! It's not the largest space, but I do have a bedroom, living room, and large kitchen in a cool, garden apartment with direct access to outside (only a few steps).
“Nathan (Uncle Nate) was a god send for us. We had been using very reputable doggie hotels. Our boy always came back sick and stressed. Uncle Nate was a home away from home. We had so many pictures sent to us where he was happy, healthy, and relaxed. Dog park next door is a great asset too! I think Winston had more fun with Nate than at home. We will be rebooking in the future.”
