She lived a good 14 years but that of course was still too short for me. She was a family member to me, not just a cat. She was even kind to the random strays I would bring home and be forced to return lol. I also grew up with my dog Angel (pictured). She lived for 14 years too. Her last few years were rough and she was on a lot of medications. I have experience administering those. We had to put her down and that was such a hard decision. Another family member lost. I'm still proud that they both lived long lives. I've had other cats short term since then. I adopted a black cat, Maleficent Marie, in February 2023 and shes my new fur baby. I started using Rover in 2018 when it first started but deactivated because I lived in areas that didn't use the app at all. I can't wait to meet your pet and I'll make them a priority like they're family! I'm currently working part time and have a very flexible schedule so I have plenty of time to drop in or even stay with your furry family members. About: My involvement with animals has been my whole life, but it truly started with my mom who is a former breeder. I learned so much from my mom and have had so much involvement with dogs ranging big and small in size and personality. Theres many high-tense situations that have built my experience and rationality for anything. I am willing to accommodate to any special need your pet may need as I know some need more patience than others. I have my own pets as well and have trained them myself. I have a large loving doodle and a feisty cat. I'm currently a student aiming to be a veterinary technician who can give the best possible care to peoples pets. I am currently working part time as a freelancer. This gives me the liberty to take as much time needed for any pet needs. I can drop by or stay by their side full time. As I do have my own dog so I would need to check on him daily. When caring for pets, I prioritize: * Consistent feeding schedules * Fresh water and clean bowls/litter areas * Safe walks and supervised play * Medication instructions if needed * Patience with shy, anxious, senior, or high-energy animals * Regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured

“My experience with Richard was outstanding. I had never used him before, so I wastsure what to expect. However, he was very warm and welcoming. He has a lovely home and a larger in back yard. At first, my dog (Mutsy) presented some problems since he was not used to staying with anyone he didn’t know. Richard was quick to contact me to find a solution. He was very patient with Mutsy and the problems were resolved within a couple of days. Richard sent pictures and updates every day. I will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.”
