We had to make last-minute arrangements for our senior dog, Lola, while we were vacationing in Sanibel after discovering that our condo no longer allowed pets. Lola is highly anxious, and leaving her is always stressful for us, so finding someone we could trust was incredibly important. From the very beginning, communication was exceptional. We received daily updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation knowing Lola was in great hands. Not only did she take excellent care of Lola, but she also graciously allowed us to visit and take Lola for walks during the week. She made sure Lola got plenty of exercise, socialization with other dogs, and lots of love and attention. It was clear that she genuinely cared for her. About: I recently moved back to Florida to care for my elderly grandmother for a while. I am a registered nurse with experience in Emergency medicine, Labor and Delivery, Med-Surg and a few other skills sprinkled in. So, why on earth would an RN want to watch animals? Simple; I love them and I have a lot of extra time on my hands. I have had pets my whole life and I farmed for over 10 years raising animals. I have never been without a dog and a cat. Currently, my grandmother has a senior companion service dog who was trained for 2 years before she got him. He is a very low energy lap dog for the most part, but loves fur friends. I have one of my own fur babies with me who is 1 year old and a very well behaved service-animal-level dog especially for a puppy, but will run and play till she drops! Care available in your own home or mine. I am no stranger to medical treatments for animals and medications. I can handle all of that if need be at an additional cost. I have treated many living things (not only as a nurse of course), but the farm life has shown me a wide variety of animal care. I do have some weight limits for dogs due to the fact that I need to be very careful about any large dogs around the elderly. It only takes a wiggly butt to bump into someone the wrong way... so for right now; the smaller the better. I am willing to walk them, but we do have a fenced yard on the lake. And I take to dogs to get the mail in the golf cart (dog hauler)! (in doggy car seats of course) I work from home, so it's pretty easy. The only time I am not available is when I travel back home. If I leave for errands, I am normally not gone for more than a few hours on the bigger errand days. I have a fenced yard on the lake. We are in a gated community with plenty of walking room. My two there dogs are bell-trained to go out. We go for rides in the golf cart (it is really just an oversized person and pet-hauler). I can crate them and would prefer that so they can have their "space" or "den" to retreat to with their blanket or dog pillow/bed with all the smells of home. I will do medications and treatments if needed (ie; leg wraps, ear wash, etc). I will bathe them as outlined in services. I will clip nails but ONLY if that is something they are accustomed to as I have first hand experience with breeds that cannot tolerate it.

I've dealt with tiny puppies, elderly, blind, and deaf, and a puppy born and nearly dying from a cleft palate. I have watched, in my home, for up to 4 dogs(plus my two) at one time. I prefer that any dog I keep for extended hours or overnight, at least be crate trained. This is healthier and safer for everyone. I absolutely love dogs and I've never had a dog not like me. About: I’ve taught my puppies all sorts of tricks and taught them to be discipline. I don’t feed them human food but will reward them with yummy treats if they are being good! Leaving for school in Sarasota starting July 16th. I stay very active and love taking your pups on long walks! I love taking them to the dog park and even on hikes! About: i can’t pet sit or take care of cats because sadly i am very, deathly allergic to them, it hurts my heart that i can’t because they are so cute ;( I rent my own home and have lots of free time I only go to the gym and study from home, I love being at home and caring for pets, plus it’s nice company! :) I play with them, I sing to them, I talk to them, I’m a big fan of pet cuddles, I walk and feed them, I’ll even take them to the park with me on my runs!

We had to make last-minute arrangements for our senior dog, Lola, while we were vacationing in Sanibel after discovering that our condo no longer allowed pets.
