This was my first time using Rover and did not know what to expectbut I needed a sitter because I was vacationing with my family in Florida and they wanted to visit a Disney theme park. This was a last minute plan so i had to work quickly to find someone. Karen quickly responsed to my message. Some others reached out to me but seemed to feel uncomfortable with a baby with special needs and that wad okay. When I messaged Karen I told her that i am very protective over my baby. He has medical issues that causes him challenges to effectively navigate his environment. When I explain this to her she reassured me that she has a history of caring for Senior Canines and canines with special needs. Karen was patient while I asked all my questions. She answered all my questions which made me feel very comfortable. Karen was very flexible with the time. She also updated me throughout the day regarding the care of my fur baby. We dropped her off at 11AM and picked her up at 11PM since we left late from the amusement park. About: I cannot remember one time in my life that I have not had a dog. I have been fortunate enough to volunteer with Orange County animal services where I have adopted my baby Angel, ‘Pug’ 10 years ago! Today, I have 2 pugs (‘Pug’ & Meep) as well as a chihuahua mix (Beige). Through every thing that life has thrown at me my dogs have always been the light at the end of the tunnel and I truly would give my life for my dogs as a result. Any time I have free time I am bringing my three babies to my favorite dog park, lake Baldwin! When my day gets started, my puppies day also get started with morning meals and morning walks. Afternoons consists of play time, sometimes baths, and a night meal before a final walk before bed. Besides being incredibly nice, she literally loves all animals, and with that, she treats your little love ones as if it was her dog. “Nate was always punctual and did what I think anyone who’s there for the animals should do… he greeted the pets first and then said his hellos to us if we were there. One of my dogs has an issue with her back legs and cannot walk as fast as our other, so he walked them separately and gave her just as much love and attention as her sister. He’s personable and cute if you want a lil eye candy for yourself. You’d be silly not to hire him.”

I generally sleep in the morning but with a few days notice I am able to adjust my sleep schedule. I have one cat in my home that I currently care for. I have cared for many cats over the years. I have dropped on my family’s and friends cats and dogs over the years. I am their number one contact when they go out of town.
About: I've had pets in the past and love caring for them and playing with them. Grew up with a cat, had a dog and coserved a cat with my wife. Because we may move some time internationally, we haven't wanted to make a long term commitment, be we would love to be grandpetparents where we help out by babysitting while people need to travel pet free for a short time. I work full time but from home several days a week. My son, who loves animals will be around on days I am not at home. We would welcome any pets as part of the family. They can cuddle with us on the couch and play out in the yard or chill on our screened in porch. Unfortunately, we cant care forndigs for more than 5 or 6 days as we arent physically able to care for them.

“Booked a very last minute sitting and was so grateful he was able to accommodate my dog, Leila!! From the start, communication was excellent. I received 5 pictures and 2 videos for a 2 night stay. I appreciated the updates and how attentive he was to her needs during the short stay. Leila can be a little anxious in new environments, but she warmed up to him and his pack. She came home happy and well cared for. The only small hiccup was that she came home without her blanket and tag, but he was quick to apologize and explained that he had washed her blanket and simply forgot to return it in the rush. Mistakes happen, and I appreciated his honesty and kindness. Overall, I felt very confident leaving Leila in his care and would absolutely book again. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a responsible, experienced sitter—even on short notice!”
