Patrick went above and beyond, he gave Yoda two baths during his stay (without charging us), and when our flight was delayed, he didn’t ask for any late pick-up fees. Yoda is a notoriously picky eater, often refusing food for days, but Patrick patiently figured out how to get him to eat and even provided the food tins free of charge. It was such a relief to see Yoda eating well, playing happily with other dogs, and feeling right at home. In fact, when we went to pick him up, Yoda actually wanted to go back inside Patrick’s house, that’s how comfortable and loved he felt there! Patrick didn’t just “watch” Yoda, he cared for him as if he were his own dog. One of my most special experiences was with my blue heeler, Panda Bear. We spent 13 years together, and in her last few years, she was diagnosed with degenerative myelopathy. Despite the challenges, we still made every day count... whether it was a walk in her wheelchair or just enjoying a treat together. About: I have been involved in animal rescue for the past 15 years. I have extensive experience with dogs with behavioral and medical issues. I have owned dogs that were extremely abused and were aggressive. I am able to respect their boundaries and create an environment that is supportive and nurturing. I also have experience with medically needy dogs. I have no issues administering medication, whether orally or with injections. One of my senior rescues that recently passed required medication every 8 hours and eye drops multiple times daily. She was aggressive and never took them without a fight but I found a way to ensure she got the care she needed to live a long and comfortable life. My current two Shih Tzus are younger. I have taken them to training and worked extensively on socializing them. I work from home so I am always available to take care of dogs. I can offer plenty of play time, potty breaks and constant supervision. I have a fenced yard. Dogs are always supervised when they go outside. I have rescued for many years. I have extensive experience with medically needy dogs and dogs with behavioral issues. Keeping the dogs safe is my number one priority. About: What sets me apart is my calm, attentive care and clear. I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and stress free experience for both pets and their owners. I provide regular updates so you always know how your dog is doing. As a 21 year old student, I have availability most days, which allows me to offer flexible and consistent care when you need it. I currently work Thursday through Sunday: on Thursdays and Fridays I work 8 AM to 8 PM, Saturdays 8 AM to 4 PM, and Sundays 4 PM to 8 PM. I am off Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, which gives me a lot of flexibility and availability for pet sitting on those days. I’m also able to take on pet care tasks outside of my work hours when needed, depending on the booking and the dog’s needs I provide attentive, responsible care for pets both in my home and in clients homes, depending on what is most comfortable for the pet and owner. About: I've always had a passion for animals in my life, typically having my own. In the past 10 years I've been very serious with working with animal shelters, training, petsitting, and fostering. I have recommendations, references and all of the passion in the world for pets, especially dogs, but very much enjoy all 🥰 I work from home and am readily available and flexible. I take breaks any time necessary. Your pet will have my full attention. I also allow furniture and bed access, if that's allowed by you. I can care at a moments notice. I rarely leave town or am too busy. My rates as per my profile are negotiable especially when there are multiple pets, in which I have had quite a bit of experience. I have a spacious apartment and provide many walks, as well as parks and fulfilling, peaceful walk access. I keep a clean environment and attend to any special needs. I live alone so any pet would just have access to me. I take heed on all needs and wants for your pet. I have supplies, such as toys, leashes, water bowls, etc. I basically provide doggy spa days, as my friends and clients call them. However, I am accustomed to and am happy about housesitting for the fur babies.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better caretaker than Patrick and his wonderful family for our dog, Yoda. We left Yoda with them for two weeks, and the level of care was truly exceptional. Patrick went above and beyond, he gave Yoda two baths during his stay (without charging us), and when our flight was delayed, he didn’t ask for any late pick-up fees. Yoda is a notoriously picky eater, often refusing food for days, but Patrick patiently figured out how to get him to eat and even provided the food tins free of charge. It was such a relief to see Yoda eating well, playing happily with other dogs, and feeling right at home. In fact, when we went to pick him up, Yoda actually wanted to go back inside Patrick’s house, that’s how comfortable and loved he felt there! Patrick didn’t just “watch” Yoda, he cared for him as if he were his own dog. We are so grateful and highly recommend Patrick to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and dedicated to caring for their furry family members.”
