About: I grew up with dogs. I had a Great Dane that lived to be 12. I currently have a mini bernedoodle that is almost 5 years old. I also have a bunny. About: I've raised my own cat, Bug, age 2, since he was 2 months old, alongside my roommate's cat whom I've lived with for 4 years. I've also raised over 30 houseplants and have vast knowledge of a variety of plants and their needs. Additionally, I've been around the many animals in my family my whole life and have sat for relatives' cats and dogs of all sizes over the years. I'm currently in between jobs as I relocate from North Carolina to Connecticut and ultimately back to NYC, so I have a pretty open schedule! Happy to alter my plans around pet care and house sitting. I'm also a gigging musician so there are sporadic nights and weekends that may become unavailable, but I am largely looking to be a sitter while I'm in CT. Willing and able to care for indoor/outdoor pets, go on walks, make sure cats and dogs get plenty of play and pets as desired, give treats, clean and maintain home spaces, and whatever else you may need!
About: I’ve always been around dogs for many years and family and friends have entrusted me with their pet care. For their pets, I have done bathing, feeding, regular walks, and playtime. I have flexibility in the afternoons after work from 4pm and forward. Monday through Friday and open during the weekends. Plenty of time to care for your pet! I am only able to offer drop in visits and dog walks if needed since I do not own a place, I currently rent and able to drive to other places.

“Anita and her family cared for my super timid dog Poncho for a week while we were out of town. Poncho had never been left anywhere before. He decided to go on a hunger strike and not eat/drink much. I had provided dry food and to try and get him to eat Anita went out and got wet food for him as well as gave him water with a syringe to make sure he was not dehydrated. I’m confident boarding him in a facility with a ton of dogs would have stressed him out more. Anita did a great job trying to make my nervous, quirky dog as comfortable as possible.
