While we were gone, Claudia often sent us photos and updates so we'd know Maizie was doing well, and she even indicated on the day before our return that Maizie was looking forward to seeing us (which I certainly hoped would be the case, but didn't really know would be so true until I arrived to pick her up!) About: The cats I’ve experienced with never fail to keep me on my toes whether it’s finding something to crinkle such as a brown bag or a small ribbon to fetch or even climbing to new heights such as a refrigerator. About: Often called the dog whisperer of my family, I take the time to care for pets and build a connection that is almost instantaneous! I have been the main caretaker for my dogs for a lot of my life, so I have experience with puppies to senior dogs! I also have experience with cats and am prepared to assist your fur children with whatever they need! My schedule is flexible as I’m a new grad, so I am adaptable to what your pets need. I never take dogs off leash outside of the home. Right before I walk them outside, I put on the leash and make sure they are fully secured to their harness or collar! When I walk into the home, I greet the furry friends, provide a treat, and get to know them before we head out. Once we’re back, I either put them back in their crate if requested or make sure they’re all set up for the rest of the day. About: I've grown up with a variety of animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, and farm animals. Although I've only pet sit a little, I'm very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I'm currently working 2 part-time jobs as a barista, however I'm super flexible as my work schedule changes from week to week. Besides that I like to go to the gym and spend time with my chickens as much as I can. Around that I still have plenty of free time to start pet sitting. I love spending time and playing with pets, so a lot of what I would do is keep your pet company and engage with them as much as I can. With dogs I would play fetch outside if possible and with cats I would run them around with whatever toys they have. Our yard is not fenced, and although our street is relatively quiet, we always are with our visitor dogs when outside. Dogs with strong prey drive might not be a good fit for stays at our house, but could be a great fit for care in your home, walks, etc.

We have our own 12 year old mixed breed dog and a fenced in back yard area for the dogs to mingle and do business as they please. My husband works from home and makes his own schedule, so we make sure your pet(s) are getting the care and attention they need. We also do not take more than one dog sitting gig at a time so that our dog and your dog(s) establish a pack and are comfortable and safe in our home. My husband works from home 5 days a week and makes his own schedule. I work from home Mondays and Fridays and any weekend travel is updated through our app months in advance We are hyper aware of any changes in your pets disposition, eating and drinking behavior, and we always pick up #2 from our yard so we are very in-tune to any changes in the bathroom department 🤣. We know first-hand that it can be stressful leaving your pet at an unfamiliar home and find that having another dog around (as well as a dog cam in the house) helps them relax while also allowing us to make sure they’re adjusting okay even if we are out running errands. We make sure that the dogs are never home alone for longer than 4 hours maximum, and are well exercised before any time they’re left alone. We also do let them sleep on the couches and make sure they get plenty of cuddles during their stay with us.

About: First time clients must schedule a meet and greet before their stay to make sure everything is a good fit. Let me know frequency of eating, potty breaks and allergies. I have had and cared for a dogs almost all my life. They ranged in all size, age and types. I am currently working from home, so I am around all day to let them out in to play or potty breaks when needed. I will feed them in the morning and evening. If need different schedule, just let me know. I have a large yard for them to run around in. They are always under my supervision for plenty of attention, & love during the day.

However, my sense is that Claudia knew well how to deal with that, and Maizie did, indeed, adjust to her surroundings rather quickly after a day or so. While we were gone, Claudia often sent us photos and updates so we'd know Maizie was doing well, and she even indicated on the day before our return that Maizie was looking forward to seeing us (which I certainly hoped would be the case, but didn't really know would be so true until I arrived to pick her up!) Bottom line is that I would heartily endorse Claudia and happily use her services again when we need to leave town for our next vacation.”

About: Often called the dog whisperer of my family, I take the time to care for pets and build a connection that is almost instantaneous! I have been the main caretaker for my dogs for a lot of my life, so I have experience with puppies to senior dogs! I also have experience with cats and am prepared to assist your fur children with whatever they need! My schedule is flexible as I’m a new grad, so I am adaptable to what your pets need. I never take dogs off leash outside of the home. Right before I walk them outside, I put on the leash and make sure they are fully secured to their harness or collar! When I walk into the home, I greet the furry friends, provide a treat, and get to know them before we head out. Once we’re back, I either put them back in their crate if requested or make sure they’re all set up for the rest of the day. I’m currently a new grad, and currently looking to start my career while I work part-time. My schedule at this time is pretty open, so multiple times of the day are available! I have 3 friendly terriers that are excited to meet your pup if that’s preferred. I am able to take your pup on walks at their favorite trail/park or in their home space! I can crate your dog if needed, or get them set up with food, water, whatever they need until you’re home!
