About: I’ve been welcoming other people’s dogs into my home for more than 20 years. It started because I knew firsthand how hard it was to leave my own dog when I traveled. I wanted there to be another option for people like me—people who couldn’t imagine leaving their dog in a kennel but also weren’t comfortable having someone stay in their home. What began as something I offered to friends became something I genuinely love doing. There’s something very special about watching a dog arrive in an unfamiliar place, helping them settle in and trust me, and eventually seeing them stretched out on the couch or curled up beside me as though they’ve always lived here. I still miss them when they go home. I board dogs from only one family at a time because I want their stay to feel less like boarding and more like their own vacation. While they’re here, they live with me as part of my household. I work from home and structure my days around them, so they have plenty of companionship and frequent access to my fully fenced yard. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from very small dogs to dogs over 100 lbs, as well as puppies and seniors. They’re welcome on my furniture and, if they sleep with their people at home, they’re welcome to sleep with me. I don’t routinely crate dogs, but I’ll maintain a dog’s crate routine if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I require a Meet & Greet before accepting a new dog because I want your dog to be comfortable with me, my home and my dog—and I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving them with me. After more than 20 years, the reason I do this hasn’t changed. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is enjoying theirs, too—living in a home, getting affection and companionship, and being cared for by someone who understands just how much they mean to you. While your dog is in my care, I structure my days around them. I work from home, have my groceries delivered and generally don’t schedule activities that require me to leave them alone. There’s no rigid boarding schedule here—their normal routine becomes part of mine. While your dog is with me, I treat them as one of my own, with the same love, attention and care I give my own dog. About: Pets been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I am a real dog mom and my family and I have been first priority for friends and family when a dog, rabbit or another pet were in need of a home away from home. We love animals. I am pretty flexible with my schedule and can usually move things around. (And if I can’t go my daughter at 16 will be happy to be there for you and your pet.) About: I got my first cat when I was 8 years old after my sister left for college—I unofficially adopted her, lol. Her name was Star, and I had her for 12 years before eventually getting my first dog. She really shaped my early love for animals and taught me how special the bond with a cat can be. Years later, my sister now has two Bengal cats, Chloe and Leo, and I’ve basically become her go-to pet sitter whenever she travels for work. About: I’ve been welcoming other people’s dogs into my home for more than 20 years. It started because I knew firsthand how hard it was to leave my own dog when I traveled. I wanted there to be another option for people like me—people who couldn’t imagine leaving their dog in a kennel but also weren’t comfortable having someone stay in their home. What began as something I offered to friends became something I genuinely love doing. There’s something very special about watching a dog arrive in an unfamiliar place, helping them settle in and trust me, and eventually seeing them stretched out on the couch or curled up beside me as though they’ve always lived here. I still miss them when they go home. I board dogs from only one family at a time because I want their stay to feel less like boarding and more like their own vacation. While they’re here, they live with me as part of my household. I work from home and structure my days around them, so they have plenty of companionship and frequent access to my fully fenced yard. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from very small dogs to dogs over 100 lbs, as well as puppies and seniors. They’re welcome on my furniture and, if they sleep with their people at home, they’re welcome to sleep with me. I don’t routinely crate dogs, but I’ll maintain a dog’s crate routine if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I require a Meet & Greet before accepting a new dog because I want your dog to be comfortable with me, my home and my dog—and I want you to feel completely comfortable leaving them with me. After more than 20 years, the reason I do this hasn’t changed. I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing your dog is enjoying theirs, too—living in a home, getting affection and companionship, and being cared for by someone who understands just how much they mean to you. While your dog is in my care, I structure my days around them. I work from home, have my groceries delivered and generally don’t schedule activities that require me to leave them alone. There’s no rigid boarding schedule here—their normal routine becomes part of mine. Whether they want to follow me around the house, nap beside me while I work, play, cuddle or head into the fenced yard, they have companionship throughout the day. While your dog is with me, I treat them as one of my own, with the same love, attention and care I give my own dog. Before a dog stays with me for the first time, I require a Meet & Greet with my dog so we can make sure they’re comfortable together before you leave your dog in my care. I board dogs from only one family at a time, so there aren’t unfamiliar boarding dogs constantly coming and going. My yard is fully fenced, and while your dog is here, I follow your instructions for feeding, medications and normal routines. I don’t crate dogs unless their family specifically requires it as part of their normal routine.

About: Pets been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I am a real dog mom and my family and I have been first priority for friends and family when a dog, rabbit or another pet were in need of a home away from home. We love animals. I am pretty flexible with my schedule and can usually move things around. (And if I can’t go my daughter at 16 will be happy to be there for you and your pet.) Our own garden is fenced all around and is a great playground for all dogs. I love to bring your dog here doing the day or I’ll just stay in your home with your pet.
“They are AMAZING!! My little dog Mochi loved them a lot and I can tell he had good time with them. Normally Mochi is very shy with other people. But right away when Mochi sees Nadine family, they are already being friends. They knows dogs well and find out very quick what doggy needs. Friendly, sweet, treat like family. Everyday send me a comment (condition of my dog, what is plan) with good pictures. It makes me feel so much comfortable. Best people ever! I will come back with them. Thank you so much!! ☺️”

“Wow, Valerie was amazing. I knew my dogs and cat were in good care. She sent us photos throughout the ENTIRE stay and it made me feel so comfortable. My family was worried about leaving our pets with a 'stranger' but Valerie didnt feel like that to us. Her property was GORGEOUS! and had so much room for the puppies to run around and play. They were all tired out and we could tell by the photos she sent us of our dogs sleeping. My cat was also welcomed and had a nice time too. 11/10”

I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for dogs, cats, and other pets. I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive, and I’ll make sure your pet gets the care, attention, exercise, and affection they need while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine and will treat your animals like they’re my own. I’m a single stay at home mom, so I have lots of time to care for and walk your beloved pets ! I drop my kids at school in the mornings and pick them up in the afternoon, so my availability is very flexible ! I’ve loved and cared for pets my whole life! I grew up with dogs, cats, and just about every caged animal you can think of. I currently have a 3-year-old Maltipoo and a 5-year-old cat, so I understand how much our pets mean to us!

“Our girl Rue had a great time during her stay in Rich’s home! We received pictures several times daily of Rue playing with the other dog guests (along with Rich’s own dogs) in his large fenced in yard. Rich was responsive and friendly during our meet and greet, and throughout Rue’s stay with him. Rue returned home very tired and happy!”
