About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with two dogs, two cats, and even turtles and birds. Throughout high school, I cared for my neighbors' dogs and cats and regularly looked after my extended families pets while they were away, this gave me years of hands on experience with animals of all kinds. I have experience with fostering animals so I have taken care of blind dogs, dogs with diabetes and other disabilities that I am familiar with. I currently work part time at a grocery store, I don’t get a lot of hours so I have a lot of free time! I love animals so I make time for them at all times of the week :). I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. “I was particularly apprehensive about choosing a dog walker for my rescue dog. Molly is high anxiety, a result of her abusive history. I’d used the same dog-walker for three years, since first adopting Molly. She was a college student whose class schedule ultimately clashed with her dog-walking schedule, leaving me to find someone new. I interviewed several candidates, ultimately choosing Kala because she clearly showed an understanding of how best to interact with anxious rescue animals. Molly took to her quickly, so I’d say that Molly chose Kala! Kala has been great! She’s kind, patient, and understanding with Molly’s quirks. I started pet sitting for a farm in 2017-2021. I went to school to be a veterinary assistant in 2020. I later got a job at a vet clinic in 2021 and started pet sitting for clients there on the side. I've had 4 years experience with observing animal behavior and know what to look for when a pet is feeling ill, restraint, nail trims, administering medications, injections, and treatments. I'm currently unemployed and my husband is a stay at home dad so my schedule is pretty open and flexible to be able to care for some furry friends! I love, care for, and treat all animals as if they are my own. I would always make sure the pet is safe, loved, and well cared for. I live with my husband and son who are both animal lovers as well.
About: I’ve grown up taking care of many dogs & other pets in my family and neighborhood. I am highly attentive, patient, and would love to take care of your pets! I’m currently in graduate school and have classes on Thursdays. I work per diem in a hospital allowing me to work flexibility with clients and their pets. Having animals of our own we understand the importance of animals routines and comforts. Wake up, go outside to walk & bathroom, inside eat, downtime, bathroom breaks in between, and repeat in the evening. We have a large yard with trails to a field in the back where our dogs love to run. We do have outdoor leashes that are in the ground. And walk/take dogs out with leash by hand. The porches of our house have secure dog fencing so no one slips out. Our home is spacious enough for dogs of all sizes. The layout of our home allows the animals to take space or cuddle with the rest of the pack.
About: I love animals & have had many--from turtles & fish to cats & dogs & goats. Its such a pleasure to tend to them & just be with them. I'm super responsible & your pet will be my priority the entire time you are away. It will be such fun! Experience with older dogs & cats as well as special needs dogs & cats :) I only accept 30 minute drop-ins and walks within a 5 mile radious from my home. Over 5 mile radius requires a 45 minute or an hour walk or drop in! I have experience with senior dogs & cats. I have experience also administrating insulin to older dogs & other willing animals. I am a freelance worker which gives me ample opportunity to accommodate to your pet's and your schedule needs. I have a very flexible schedule. About: I have worked with dog trainers so I know some training skills needed to help with certain behaviors. I can administer meds if needed. I have had farm animals so I have that experience as well. I am looking to fill my time with some amazing animals because of my love for them. I take care of everything from farm animals to cats. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up with two dogs, two cats, and even turtles and birds. Throughout high school, I cared for my neighbors' dogs and cats and regularly looked after my extended families pets while they were away, this gave me years of hands on experience with animals of all kinds. I have experience with fostering animals so I have taken care of blind dogs, dogs with diabetes and other disabilities that I am familiar with. I currently work part time at a grocery store, I don’t get a lot of hours so I have a lot of free time! I love animals so I make time for them at all times of the week :). I have a dog park at my apartment that many dogs i have watched loved to run around and play with the other dogs in. My apartment is also very spacious so cats and dogs have plenty of roaming space. I often make sure I get used to any animals environment fast, check out their favorite spots and make sure they’re as comfortable as possible while I am around them!

About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. “Samantha went above and beyond for our boys! We were visiting family in TN for the holidays. One of our boys came down with sudden and severe Lyme symptoms while we were gone. Samantha spent many hours with him in urgent care on New Year’s Eve. She even bought the workers there pizza! She was great at caring for him and giving him meds after. Her fenced-in yard and house arrangement are perfect for our boys. She sent daily pictures and videos of our pups playing with her dog Mac and snuggling with her family.
