About: In addition to owning and devoting my time to pets for decades, I am a retired special education teacher with plenty of love and patience. As a teacher, I provided dog therapy in my classrooms for nine years. I have cared for cats and dogs of all ages, including puppies and elderly dogs with health concerns. I also have experience with chickens. I am retired from teaching, and have thoroughly enjoyed spending more time with animals, while also providing a much needed service to pet owners. As a pet sitter, I offer in home pet care while families are away, and usually do only one job at a time so I can dedicate myself to your loved ones! I am open to pet sitting most days of the week and have had both short and long term pet sitting experience. I offer pet sitting in your home, which means your pets do not need to leave their environment or routine while you are away. I will follow any directions to a T!

I try to get my fix taking care of other dogs when I can! I'm a big trail runner, I take my parents dog whenever I can. He is a big river/water dog so I love taking dogs on trails with water access. I always carry plenty of water and snacks for myself and the pup. I love dogs that are high energy and need to get lots of exercise, I'll tucker them out. I can take dogs on long hikes, runs, or even quick walks. I work evenings bar tending and am available most days before 4pm. I prefer to have one dog at a time so they get proper care and I can keep track of them, especially if they are good unleashed on trails. I am flexible and love to house sit as well so I can stay where the dog is comfortable. I like to have fun with the pups! This is for my own enjoyment and your convenience!

He immediately felt comfortable with Elle, as did I, and I was able to leave him a full day with her the first visit. He has never been able to spend a full first day with a day care provider in the past. Elle sends me photos during the day and provides a nice report about how he did. About: I’ve had dogs and/ or cats my whole life. I love caring for puppies/kittens all the way to seniors. I can give them the care they require. I love our furry pets! I am Gunnison homeowner for over 40 years and now retired. I have the time, energy, and desire to accompany your pet anytime. I am able to care for your pet in the way they are accustomed at your home. If staying with me, I have a fenced yard and a large home and a small Aussie named “Banjo” for them to play with. We can go for walks, to the doggie park, or just stay home.

About: I have been taking care of my dogs and neighbors dogs since I was 10. We got 2 puppies when I was 8 (buttercup and Ellie) and I would get left alone with them and took them on walks all the time. When I turned 10 I started taking care of neighbors dogs every so often and just love being around dogs. I grew up with a Rhodesian Ridge dog that was over 120 lbs so I have had the best of both big and little dogs. I guarantee to give the same attention and care to your dogs as I do with mine! I work as a cashier at Home Depot and have shifts at different times of the day but I am very flexible and have a lot of free time throughout the week. I will make sure I will handle the dogs with care and be very respectful of your home. I have some pretty energetic dogs my self who get a little wild on walks with other dogs around so I have gotten good at handling situations like that. I understand how important pets are and want to give the best care and respect to you and them.

About: I’ve been watching animals for about 10 years. I have experience in almost everything from walking dogs, animal sitting in my home and others, play dates, grooming and anything else you can think of! I’m a lover of all animals of all shapes and sizes and enjoy spending time with new pet friends ! I am currently working full time at a local doctors office but have an hour lunch break as well as time in the morning before and after work to check on and care for any animals! I am off on weekends which is when I spend most of my time with pets that I am watching. I have a fenced yard with high enough fencing to avoid any lost animals. While in a clients home, I always keep an eye on the pet when they are outside or wondering.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and have recently assisted my family in adopting and taking care of 3 specialty needs dogs. I love getting to know a pets personality, and interacting with them accordingly. I am also well versed in basic training, and am happy to teach your pup some new tricks! I am currently working with a very flexible daily schedule, and can give your pet all of the time they need each day! I have no minimum amount of time I can spend with them. In your home, I will ensure I fully understand your pets needs and follow instructions to a T. Routine and trust are so important for your pet, and I will ensure neither of those are broken!

About: I grew up with two weimaraners and my family fostered dogs for years (from puppies to senior pups). Now we’ve got a golden doodle named Sunny who just turned 9. Dogs are amazing to work with and if I can make money while doing something fun I think that’s a pretty great deal. I’m actively on a job hunt (I have student teaching in the Fall so just trying to find something for the summer) - that being said if I agree to help out with an animal I will prioritize my agreements! I’ve done babysitting, house sitting and dog sitting for friends and family. My parents raised me keeping a clean house so that’s my default.

About: I have been dog walking and pet sitting overnight for many years. I have a golden retriever and we love making new pet friends with all of our clients. Snuggles always included! We can go on several on-leash walks daily and work on leash walking skills. I work part time so I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pets. I am available daily walks and check-ins, as well as for overnight pet sitting any night of the week! You just tell me how you like your pets to be cared for and I’ll do exactly that! Hopefully they like golden retrievers so I can bring my dog along for more play time!
