“Michael and Emily were amazing with our dog for a 4 night long stay - walks, bike rides, cuddles and playtime. They sent us pictures of our dog too and she clearly was having a great time. Their dogs were friendly and welcoming to ours. Our dog needs medicine applied to her nose daily and they had no issue doing that. Their yard was secure and spacious. Being in Gunnison provides a great spot for those traveling onto Crested Butte. Thank you Michael and Emily!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, I have cared for our dogs as they have become seniors. I have cared for dogs with high anxiety and attachment. I personally have one pet that is ready to be your dogs best friend. Each dog is a gift and I love all of them. I work full time but I’m available from Friday evening till Sunday night. I am also available after 6pm on week days depending on your needs. My first priority is always safety, I keep my home picked up and pet proofed at all times. I really enjoy learning each dog and being able to walk and play with them how they feel comfortable.

About: I have grown up with dogs of my own and lived with many animals of all sizes. I love dogs but I travel a lot and cannot have my own, unfortunately. I try to get my fix taking care of other dogs when I can! I'm a big trail runner, I take my parents dog whenever I can. He is a big river/water dog so I love taking dogs on trails with water access. I always carry plenty of water and snacks for myself and the pup. I love dogs that are high energy and need to get lots of exercise, I'll tucker them out. I can take dogs on long hikes, runs, or even quick walks. I work evenings bar tending and am available most days before 4pm. I prefer to have one dog at a time so they get proper care and I can keep track of them, especially if they are good unleashed on trails. I am flexible and love to house sit as well so I can stay where the dog is comfortable. I like to have fun with the pups! This is for my own enjoyment and your convenience!

About: I am a proud pet parent who puts continued time and energy towards understanding, training, entertaining, and exercising my mutt … we love to bring companions along for the ride! A well-cared for boi is a happy, healthy boi. I work full-time M-F at an office near my home. I walk/run/bike/fetch with my pooch twice daily during the week, for a total of 2-3 hours of movement - usually more on the weekend! My schedule can be flexible to accommodate occasional lunch-time walks. In the summer, and at various other points throughout the year, I have the flexibility to work remotely with breaks at will. I do not have a yard but live within walking distance to a popular town trail. Most dogs enjoy people watching from our balcony in nice weather. I am also all for doggie field trips and welcome pooches in my vehicle to hike at Hartman’s, University trails, and the dog park as appropriate.

I am able and willing to watch puppies, kittens, and senior animals. I have a large lab mix who is about 11 that I have thoroughly enjoyed caring for and loving my whole life. I also have 3 cats who I love to spend time with and give attention to. I’ve also cared for geckos, hamsters, chickens, fish and other small animals. Im currently in between jobs, I travel to Colorado every winter to work for a ski resort where I operate ski lifts. When I am caring for pets in my own home I will watch your animals carefully and care for all of their needs. I have a huge wooded yard with access to lots of leashes and 2 small crates. About: I have spent my whole live having dogs and cats in my home and caring for other peoples animals as well. I’ve always had a dog and cats in my household and it just adds so much joy to my life. It’s something I’m very passionate about and have never met an animal that I don’t get along with!! I’m currently working part time in Aspen and really miss my own pets that are back home in Florida. I’ve always enjoyed taking care of pets as a part of my daily routine and would love to help others with doing the same. I have at least 3-4 free days a week to help anyone out! When it comes to the clients home I have plenty of experience being as hands on or hands off as the client prefers when it comes to their pets. When it comes to having pets at my own place I live in an extremely walkable area and have a very nice trail 5 minutes away for walks and exploring. My apartment is a very good size to have a pet over to hang out as well.

He immediately felt comfortable with Elle, as did I, and I was able to leave him a full day with her the first visit. He has never been able to spend a full first day with a day care provider in the past. Elle sends me photos during the day and provides a nice report about how he did. Elle provides a very calm environment for him and gives him loads of attention, which he needs to feel secure. I recommend Elle for anyone looking for a responsible loving caregiver for their dog.”

About: I am very experienced with both dogs and cats as I grew up with two cats and a dog (a very big dog). I feel very comfortable with all animals and understand the importance of giving your pet a tons of love and care! I have a super flexible schedule so I can make sure your pet gets whatever it needs. I recently started watching other people’s dogs and I a think both me and the pup have been enjoying it! I am currently working part time, I typically work Monday-Wednesday from 8:30-4:30 in Crested Butte. Other than that I am completely available to give your pet any attention and care it needs. I love hanging out with animals so I will be completely available to give your pet any and all of my attention! I currently am in between housing so I personally can’t house any animals but I have a car so I can take you pup on some great hiking adventures! I tend to be very cautious and make sure I understand a pet’s temperament and what they need to feel safe and comfy!

About: I have been fortunate enough to have cared for both a cat and a dog through long and full lives; playing with them and giving attention in their younger, more robust years, and nurturing them during their elderly stage. Aside from that, I have cared for plenty of neighborhood pets throughout my life, ranging from simply taking a puppy for a walk or staying overnight and administering medication. I currently have a dog who is full of life and demanding of attention, which I am conditioned (and happy) to provide. I have a seasonal job allowing me the opportunity to work summers in various states at different National Parks. During the off time, I get some time to spend with my family and hopefully meet some new furry friends! While I am between jobs, I have wide open availability and endless time to share with your fur children. I love my own pets with my whole heart, and imagine you do as well! I take the responsibility of caring for your animals with incredible seriousness and sincerity, and that means making sure not to leave any doors or gates open or leave anything out that they can get into. If there are any other procedures you typically do as an extra step to keeping your dog safe, I am happy to do the same while they are in my car.

About: I grew up with two weimaraners and my family fostered dogs for years (from puppies to senior pups). Now we’ve got a golden doodle named Sunny who just turned 9. Dogs are amazing to work with and if I can make money while doing something fun I think that’s a pretty great deal. I’m actively on a job hunt (I have student teaching in the Fall so just trying to find something for the summer) - that being said if I agree to help out with an animal I will prioritize my agreements!
