About: Hello there! My name is Danielle and I would love to spend some time with your fur babies! I grew up with a bunch of pups running around (although I do not have any of my own now) and I have been sitting through Rover for over 8 years, so I have a lot of experience to bring to the table :) I have lots of experience with rescue pups (including any quirks that they may have because of this) as well as elderly pets who require extra attention, meds, specialized care, etc. I'm happy to work with you to provide the best care to your fur babies while I am watching them. I know different dogs and even different breeds can have wildly different needs and my goal is to keep them as calm and happy as possible while you are away. All my services are in your home only, including day care. Drop ins are for visits less than 1 hour (sometimes multiples per day), Day Care is longer visits (usually between 4-8 hours per day) but no overnights and housesitting is full time, 24 hour care including overnights. ***Rover has taken away full autonomy of our calendars. The Rover calendar only shows approx 80% of my housesitting availability. To see all available days (I update frequently), please look under "Availability" I freelance so I can work from home (aka right from your couch or home office.) As long as you can share your wifi password, I can be with them as needed. I can easily make sure I'm there to check in on them/work around their schedule. I'll most likely be with them more often than not during the day, and can stay with them all night as well. **Rover's housesitting calender only shows about 80% of my availability, below lists my full availability. During our meet and greet, I'll ask all about their daily schedule so I know how to best care for your fur babies during my stay. I work from home (aka right from your couch or home office), so I can be there with them most of the day and cater to their normal daily schedule :) Please be aware - during extreme temperature months, outside time (walks, etc) may be modified for everyone's health and safety. For example, in the winter/cold months, walks will primarily be done around mid day when it is warmest and during summer, walks would be done early or late to avoid the hottest times of the day. I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet mom with a home full of personalities - including 4 dogs (Great Dane puppy mixes, a Great Pyr mix, and a senior pittie who keeps things interesting) and 3 cats. About: Hi I'm Rion, I’ve been around dogs since as long as I can remember and I have been taking care of them just as long, professionally and non-professionally! My previous professional pet care experience was doing the daily managing of a daycare & boarding facility for 3+ years. There I cared for a wide variety of animals including: dogs, cats, reptiles, and even the occasional pig! In addition to pet care, I’ve held several caregiving roles, such as working as an elementary paraeducator and a part-time caregiver at an Assisted Living Facility during the peak of COVID. Of course, my favorite experience has been my time at the dog boarding and daycare facility! I am able to take care of your pets in your home on your schedule, either daily or overnight. I'm more than happy to take dogs on walks, provide social stimulation, interaction with other dogs in your neighborhood (or my dog, Jupiter) at a dog park, if you would like, etc. For cats, I know that feeding schedules and food preparation/feeding is important, as well social interaction and playful stimulation as well. I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet mom with a home full of personalities - including 4 dogs (Great Dane puppy mixes, a Great Pyr mix, and a senior pittie who keeps things interesting) and 3 cats. Because of that, I am super comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments - from giant, high energy dogs, to tiny sensitive guys who need a little extra love, and even the occasional grumpy senior. I truly understand how important it is to keep pets in their normal routine while you're away and I have experience with training, medicine administration, and specialized diets as well as feeding schedules. My goal during every interaction with your babies is to make them as comfy as possible while maintaining their routine, and make them feel loved while their people are away. I am especially patient with shy, anxious, or older pets and always adjust my approach based on what they need. I also know how important communication is, so you will get updates and photos regularly! As a pet mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your babies with someone, so I make sure to treat every pet like they're my own! I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate most drop-in visits, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and pet care routines throughout the day. Since caring for my own pets is already a part of my daily routine, providing reliable and consistent care for other pets fits very naturally into my schedule. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. I am used to managing multiple pets with different personalities, feeding schedules, diets, and energy levels. Safety, consistency and comfort are always my priority. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh food & water, meds if needed, and love! I am happy to follow specific instructions closely. I am also open to pet sitting in my home for animals who are dog, cat and kid friendly. My home is very pet-centered, and I understand how important it is for animals to feel safe and cared for.
