About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, but most of my pet care experience comes from my own dog, Tuna. I adopted Tuna in 2014, when he was a year old, and he lived with me for 12 wonderful years until he crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2025. If your pet requires a specific medication schedule, multiple feedings a day, or extra companionship while you are away, I can seamlessly integrate their routine into my workday. When your pet is with me, they are treated like family. I aim to provide a safe, structured, and deeply affectionate environment so you can have total peace of mind. If they are used to cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed, they are more than welcome to do so. However, I am happy to enforce any house rules and boundaries you already have in place. Overall, I maintain a very clean, organized, and pet-proofed home. All trash cans have lids, plants are kept out of reach, and miscellaneous items are never left out where a dog can reach them. I live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator. My home is best suited for dogs who are fully mobile or small enough to be easily carried, as we will need to navigate two flights of stairs for every outing. My apartment complex features a private dog park and plenty of walking paths. I also have access to a community doggy bathing station, which is perfect if your dog requires bathing while in my care.

“First off, If I could give Bridgett 100 gold stars, I would do that. She was amazing and my cranky old lady cat instantly fell in love with her. I've never felt so comfortable with someone I didn't know well in my house. When she showed up for our meet and greet, she took detailed notes and asked questions for clarification. She seemed to understand cats and needs of a senior cat very well. My cat had some special needs as far as medications and her routine went with her kidney disease diet. Bridgett understood that. Everyday Bridgett gave me a detailed update( she asked what I would prefer and this was my preference ).followed by pictures of my cat adoring her. She gave me her dietary and bathroom habits in full detail. That made me feel very comforted knowing she was in good hands. Her water was clean and fresh when I came home. And I found to my delight, that underneath my cats heated bed Bridgett added an extra blanket under and around the bed. Top notch. I know different dogs and even different breeds can have wildly different needs and my goal is to keep them as calm and happy as possible while you are away. All my services are in your home only, including day care. Drop ins are for visits less than 1 hour (sometimes multiples per day), Day Care is longer visits (usually between 4-8 hours per day) but no overnights and housesitting is full time, 24 hour care including overnights. ***Rover has taken away full autonomy of our calendars. The Rover calendar only shows approx 80% of my housesitting availability. To see all available days (I update frequently), please look under "Availability" I freelance so I can work from home (aka right from your couch or home office.) As long as you can share your wifi password, I can be with them as needed. I can easily make sure I'm there to check in on them/work around their schedule. I'll most likely be with them more often than not during the day, and can stay with them all night as well. **Rover's housesitting calender only shows about 80% of my availability, below lists my full availability. During our meet and greet, I'll ask all about their daily schedule so I know how to best care for your fur babies during my stay. I work from home (aka right from your couch or home office), so I can be there with them most of the day and cater to their normal daily schedule :) Please be aware - during extreme temperature months, outside time (walks, etc) may be modified for everyone's health and safety. For example, in the winter/cold months, walks will primarily be done around mid day when it is warmest and during summer, walks would be done early or late to avoid the hottest times of the day. During the stay I got pictures of how well my baby was doing. Most pets warm up to me pretty quickly, and I enjoy giving them the attention, care, and love they deserve. I like to get dogs out for plenty of walks. I’ve found that regular exercise is one of the best ways to keep them calm, especially if they are anxious while you’re gone. Cats will get lots of petting and playtime as well. So we walk for 30 and then I spend a few minutes filling up water bowls, etc. I have another dog who just really likes to sunbathe and get pets in her backyard. So we do that. About: I had dogs and cats my whole life and became a bird mama to a mischievous goffin's cockatoo 7 years ago. I pet sat in high school and college, and swap pet care with our neighbors. I live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator. My home is best suited for dogs who are fully mobile or small enough to be easily carried, as we will need to navigate two flights of stairs for every outing. My apartment complex features a private dog park and plenty of walking paths. I also have access to a community doggy bathing station, which is perfect if your dog requires bathing while in my care.
