“Tamie was wonderful! She's very kind and easy to communicate with and my Baxter immediately felt comfortable in her home. I appreciated the photos and updates that she sent every day. I will definitely book with her again!”

“Laurel was so loving to our little dog Nova. She consistently shared photos and videos so we knew she was having a fantastic time. Thank you so so much for looking after her so well ❤️”

“Sidney was great and gave me many updates on my pup. My dog loved her golden retriever. She looked like she had a bunch of fun. I would definitely use her for future dog boarding needs!”

“Yi Ling watched my dog over two weekends, and I was very happy with the care she provided. She was an excellent communicator, always punctual, and completely dependable. One thing to know is that she often watches more than one dog at a time. My dog did great in that environment and enjoyed the opportunity to socialize with other dogs. I would happily book with Yi Ling again!”

“Darcy was WONDERFUL with my young dog, Bob and my sensitive, senior dog, Olive. She often sent photos and updates. She frequently took them to the dog park. She has a large, clean house and beautiful, grassy yard. I would not hesitate to leave my dogs in her care again.”

“Absolutely so amazing. I had return trip complications and Jessica was so accommodating about keeping my pup. Happy and fed until I could return home. I could not be more grateful.”

“Julia is an absolute gem!! 💎 She greeted Kaya at her door and before I even had her bag out, she’d found Kaya’s favorite spot to be petted! I felt so comfortable knowing my girl was with a wonderful pet sitter, it helped make my weekend that much better. The communication was great - the photos and video of her enjoying her best life with Julia’s dog 🐶 and out walking made me smile and know I made the best decision for her. Highly recommend!!”

“What a great experience we had with our pet sitting… Our puppy, Bentley, was so happy to be there. So loved and taken care of. He was definitely part of their family and I so appreciate that. We will definitely be back.”

“Shelly was amazing with Banjo! She helped me feel very comfortable leaving my dog with her and her pack. During the meet and greet she spent time ensuring all the dogs would get along well with one another. During his stay with her I received daily pics and updates about how things were going. Banjo had a blast and was well cared for! Looking forward to booking with Shelly again. Thank you!”

“Riley was so happy with Dalia and Dainius and their daughter Milda! I’m sure she hardly missed me at all between their walks and play time. 😊 It was also wonderful how accommodating they were to watch her less than a week out! Highly recommend!”

“I am a returning client. Jeffery is perfect, and is flexible. I got hit with a couple curveballs in my schedule last time, and Jeffery was very easy to work with. My cat had his own room, and I got pictures and updates daily. So I'm back for round 2, and he is now my go-to sitter. Thank you for taking such good care of my cat!”

“Jen has been one of my go to’s when looking for a sitter. I trust Jen and feel that Sloane is safe whenever I leave her there. Jen takes Sloane on walks and sends updates throughout the day, which I appreciate! And I know Sloane enjoys having a backyard to run around in.”

“Could not say more positive things about Nawal & Thomas! They went above and beyond with keeping me up to date about all the happenings and adventures my Greyson went on. They genuinely loved him like their own and he came home so incredibly calm and happy. Thank you so so much! Would book again in a heartbeat.”

“Becky was a great sitter and Reggie came home well-loved although a bit mad at us for leaving him. 🙃 she asked questions if she wasn’t sure about how he would handle a situation and sent lots of pix. We would highly recommend.”

“Kimberly was incredible with my dogs. One is terrified of fireworks so we were hesitant to leave her over the Fourth of July. Kimberly got her cozy with a sound machine and lots of love. My other dog is a paralyzed high maintenance gal and Kimberly didn’t shy away from learning her routine at all. I can’t tell you what a relief it is to leave your babies and not be worried about them the whole time. And she sent lots of sweet photos! Thank you!”

About: Animals make life so much better, and I’ve been looking after them as a side hustle for 20 years. I work full time at a library in Northern Colorado. I work full time Monday through Friday. Prefer to stay over with your animal so their routine isn’t disrupted. Love going for walks with dogs, and will make sure they get some exercise before and after my shift. I have extensive experience staying over with animals in people’s homes and am a respectful and cozy houseguest. Always happy to learn the particulars of each home.

About: I’ve had the chance to care for cats for a couple of friends several times over the past few years, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. I’m attentive, dependable, and will provide daily playtime, if desired. I am happy to keep owners updated with messages and pictures so they can relax knowing their cat is in good hands.

“Amber is an absolutely outstanding and kind individual who will ensure your pets are safe and that their needs are met. She somehow made friends with what I believed to be the shyest cats and made sure that they were comfortable all while being respectful of our home. I really loved that she took many pictures to include current state of my two cats, water fountain, litter box, etc. I felt very comfortable on my vacation knowing that she did her best with giving them care and attention! I’ll most certainly rebook with her in the future. She needs to be your number one pick. Thank you, Amber!”

“Mike has been super reliable, professional and friendly. The first day we had some technical issues with the automatic door lock and he came by three times to re-try and troubleshoot until we could figure things out. We trust him.”

“Shannon took amazing care of my cats, even my diabetic cat that needs insulin by injection. She was so nice and sent updates and photos. Will definitely book her again!”

“Amy has been so great with our dog - he loves her! Amy has always communicated clearly with me regarding scheduling and how our dog was doing. She has always been more than willing to pick up last-minute check-ins for our dog when my schedule changed. I knew I could rely on her in a pinch. I would highly recommend her to those on Rover looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

About: Hi, I'm a lifelong cat lover with over 40 years of experience caring for my own cats — plus caring for other people's pets on and off for the past 10+ years. I'm now excited to open my life to more cat families who want someone playful, attentive, and truly dedicated to their pet's happiness. My approach is simple: every cat gets my full attention while I'm there. Whether your kitty is a zoomies-at-3am dynamo or a shy couch companion who needs patience and gentle coaxing, I adapt to what they need most. I'm hands-on and love getting on the floor with a wand toy, making silly sounds, and running around with a playful cat — but I'm equally happy providing a quiet presence for an anxious or elderly cat who just wants company and a few head scratches. I currently share my home with two Bengals: Winston, a special needs boy who requires extra TLC and close attention, and Artemis, who I lovingly call "spicy" — she's not big on being touched and can startle easily. Living with them has made me especially skilled at reading body language, respecting boundaries, and building trust with cats who need time to warm up. What sets me apart: - Tailored attention: I know that different breeds and personalities need different things — some cats need 10–15 minutes of vigorous play, others need a slow brush and a calm lap to sit near. I adjust accordingly. - Friendly updates: After every visit, I send 2–4 photos or videos along with a written update — because as a pet parent myself, I know how much it means to see your fur baby happy and cared for. - Leave-it-better care: Food served the way they like it, fresh water, toys gathered and ready for the next round of play, litter tidy — I leave cat's space AND your cat in great shape. - Bonus goodies: With your approval, I bring treats and a wand toy so we can have quality one-on-one play time during every visit. Above all, my goal is simple: to make sure your cat never feels alone while you're away, and knows they are loved.

About: I love being around other peoples cats but am unable to have one of my own right now. We always had a cat as we were growing up and I have always enjoyed helping people out by checking in on their kitties when they are gone.

“Our kitty has always been shy of people; however, after only two days our Ruthie girl let Bridgett per her and was purring for her! Bridgett must have a way with cats and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“Mark was attentive to the needs of my cat, Sparkle. dropping in twice a day, giving her attention and winning over her affections, she’s a very shy cat and doesn’t let just anyone be near her or pet her. Sparkle requires medication once a day, Mark had no problems giving it.”

About: I've had cats my entire life and currently have one of my own. Every cat has a unique personality, and I enjoy taking the time to earn their trust and understand their individual needs. I'm committed to learning your cat's routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away.

“Kyle & Desiree have been a tremendous help with Gene, & they are always great with communication, & also updates with photos & even descriptions of Gene's day/interactions. Couldn't ask for more.”

“George and Abigail are fantastic dog sitters. You can see they really love all dogs. Our dog Luna can be timid, but she gets so excited to go to their house. Her new besties are Mac and Gus, their dogs. She has a great time playing all day. I would highly recommend them for any type of Pet care !”

“Erin and Sebastian went above and beyond in caring for our pup Percy! We had a last-minute request, and they were incredibly accommodating, responsive, and kind. Throughout the day, they kept us updated with plenty of photos and made sure Percy was entertained and comfortable. With his medical needs, including medication administration, they were attentive and thorough—we could tell he was in great hands. It’s clear they genuinely love and care for the animals they look after. If you’re looking for trustworthy, communicative, and compassionate pet sitters on Rover, I can’t recommend Erin and Sebastian enough!”

About: Hello there! My name is Danielle and I would love to spend some time with your fur babies! I grew up with a bunch of pups running around (although I do not have any of my own now) and I have been sitting through Rover for almost 10 years, so I have a lot of experience to bring to the table :) Most of my experience is with rescue pups (including any quirks that they may have because of this) but over the years I've stayed with a bunch of elderly pets who require extra attention, meds, specialized care, etc. But I love to take care of all types of animals - I've been tasked to care for dogs and cats but other animals as well including lizards/bearded dragons, a few different types of large birds and even donkeys! I'm happy to work with you to provide the best care to your fur babies while I am watching them. I know different dogs and even different breeds can have wildly different needs and my goal is to keep them as calm and happy as possible while you are away. All my services are in your home only, including day care. Drop ins are for visits less than 1 hour (sometimes multiples per day), Day Care is longer visits (usually between 4-8 hours per day) but no overnights and housesitting is full time, 24 hour care including overnights. ***Rover has taken away full autonomy of our calendars. The Rover calendar only shows approx 80% of my housesitting availability. To see all available days (I update frequently), please look under "Availability" I freelance so I can work from home (aka right from your couch or home office.) As long as you can share your wifi password, I can be with them as needed. I can easily make sure I'm there to check in on them/work around their schedule. I'll most likely be with them more often than not during the day, and can stay with them all night as well. **Rover's housesitting calender only shows about 80% of my availability, below lists my full availability. I'll update regularly. If you're looking for something farther out/not listed, I'd love to hear from you! Available Housesitting Dates 2026 Oct 10-15th Oct 18-Oct 22nd Nov 22-27th I will treat your pets and your home like it's my own. I will try my best to keep your fur babies on their normal, daily schedule. The only difference is that I would be the human doing the feeding, walking, snuggling, etc instead of the pet parent(s). I find this works best for most pets, and their parents, especially if there is any separation anxiety. During our meet and greet, I'll ask all about their daily schedule so I know how to best care for your fur babies during my stay. I work from home (aka right from your couch or home office), so I can be there with them most of the day and cater to their normal daily schedule :) Please be aware - during extreme temperature months, outside time (walks, etc) may be modified for everyone's health and safety. For example, in the winter/cold months, walks will primarily be done around mid day when it is warmest and during summer, walks would be done early or late to avoid the hottest times of the day. I am happy to discuss this with you during our meet and greet to come to an arrangement that works for everyone
“From start to finish I was absolutely amazed by the kindness and professionalism that I was shown! I always appreciate when my pup can do a meet and greet so I can have the peace of mind knowing he is comfortable in the environment I am leaving him in. During the stay I got pictures of how well my baby was doing. And when I had an unexpected trip to urgent care for my family member they were able to keep my pup happy for a bit longer than what was planned. He came home and crashed because he was so tired from his big play date! 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Andrea and Pumpkin were great! We were able to do a meet and greet with them a few days before my dogs dog day care stay, which was very much appreciated! Andrea provided updates and pictures throughout the day and was very accommodating for my dog. Thank you again Andrea!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, but most of my pet care experience comes from my own dog, Tuna. I adopted Tuna in 2014, when he was a year old, and he lived with me for 12 wonderful years until he crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2025. I am becoming a Rover sitter to bring the companionship of a dog back into my life while offering other pet parents the highest level of dedicated care. Through caring for Tuna and my family's dogs over the years, I have extensive experience with all types of dogs, including highly active young adults and seniors requiring specialized care. As a former pet parent, I understand how stressful it is to leave your dog with someone else and trust they will be cared for as you would. I aim to ease that stress with loving, supportive, and dedicated care. I have included more detailed information on my experience below. Senior care: -Experienced in administering daily oral medications and supplements while managing strict dosing schedules. -Familiar with guiding dogs through physical therapy exercises, managing arthritis, and accommodating the slower pace of aging pets. -Experienced in managing complex nutritional needs, including transition care, dehydrated food, and preparing fresh meals from scratch. -Ability to manage specialized routines, including transporting pets to appointments such as veterinary acupuncture or maintaining routines for such appointments. Behavioral needs: -Experienced caring for a highly reactive dog with a history of abuse. -Familiar with reading dog body language, avoiding triggers during walks, and managing anxious or fearful dogs. -Skilled at establishing a calm, low-stress environment for dogs who need extra time to warm up to new people or spaces. Exercise needs: -Well-versed in safely handling dogs while hiking, camping, and swimming in the Colorado outdoors. -Accustomed to providing multiple structured walks a day, tailored to your dog's energy level. Hygiene needs: -Routine experience with monthly bathing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. I work almost entirely from home Monday through Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). While I keep regular work hours, my job offers excellent flexibility. This means your pup won't be left alone; I am readily available throughout the day for potty breaks, neighborhood walks, and dedicated playtime. If your pet requires a specific medication schedule, multiple feedings a day, or extra companionship while you are away, I can seamlessly integrate their routine into my workday. When your pet is with me, they are treated like family. I aim to provide a safe, structured, and deeply affectionate environment so you can have total peace of mind. If they are used to cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed, they are more than welcome to do so. However, I am happy to enforce any house rules and boundaries you already have in place. Overall, I maintain a very clean, organized, and pet-proofed home. All trash cans have lids, plants are kept out of reach, and miscellaneous items are never left out where a dog can reach them. I live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator. My home is best suited for dogs who are fully mobile or small enough to be easily carried, as we will need to navigate two flights of stairs for every outing. My apartment complex features a private dog park and plenty of walking paths. I also have access to a community doggy bathing station, which is perfect if your dog requires bathing while in my care.
“Destiny did a wonderful job taking care of my pug, Percy! Her communication was excellent, and she truly went above and beyond, she even brought her sweet puppy, Koda over beforehand so the dogs could meet. Koda is also very friendly, and, sweet! I highly recommend Destiny to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and attentive rover.”

“Allison is a very attentive person who walks both her dog and mine twice during a play date. She is patient with my pup who is very energetic. Her dog Milo is a sweetheart and he and Ziggy have fun together.”

“Kristin and Andy were absolutely amazing. We have never used a sitter before and I was so nervous. They sent pictures, videos and updates throughout the day and it really helped. They took the best care of our pups, even though they were very anxious. Highly recommend them :)”

“Trixie has so much fun going to see Amelia and playing with her 2 dogs. I get pictures throughout the day, and Trixie is so happy and also worn out from playing when I pick her up. Great sitter!”

“Paisley always has a full day with Joanne. The dogs are all well cared for, walked, playing in the yard, hiking by the river, or passed out . P You s always happy and sleepy. Joanne has a a blessing!”

About: I grew up with many animals from puppies to seniors. In the last 5 years I decided to take it on as more of a side gig to be able to do something I love in my free time. I have many references as family, friends, and co-workers have relied and trusted me throughout the years to look after their fur babies. I'm currently a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur baby as well! My schedule is very open and I'm willing to work around your schedule any day of the week. I unfortunately do not have a fenced in yard, but there is plenty of grass and room to go on walks and play at my apartment complex. I will make sure your pet feels at home and safe with me to care for them.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for friends and family over the past few years, and it’s become something I truly enjoy. Most pets warm up to me pretty quickly, and I enjoy giving them the attention, care, and love they deserve. I like to get dogs out for plenty of walks. I’ve found that regular exercise is one of the best ways to keep them calm, especially if they are anxious while you’re gone. Cats will get lots of petting and playtime as well. I know that leaving your pet in the care of someone new can be a leap of faith, so I’m happy to send plenty of pictures and updates. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own and want you to feel confident they’re in good hands while you’re away. My routine is flexible and centered around each cat’s needs. I typically start the day by feeding them, giving any medications if needed, and spending a few minutes offering attention and affection if they’re in the mood. I know every cat has a different personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow whatever schedule they’re used to. Some cats love company and plenty of petting, while others prefer a quiet day and their own space. I’m comfortable with both and let each cat set the pace while making sure they’re well cared for and comfortable. I know that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I make it a priority to follow your instructions closely (a written list is extremely helpful), keep your cat’s routine as consistent as possible, and make sure they always have fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior and will communicate with you promptly if I notice anything concerning. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every home with respect and always leave it just as I found it.

About: Hi! I'm 19 years old, and I've never known life without pets. Because of that, I understand how stressful it can be to leave your furry friends behind when you're away. I've cared for pets of all kinds throughout my life, cats, dogs, exotic pets, etc. I think what makes my care unique is my personal love of each pet. No matter their breed, size, or personality, I'll make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I work part-time as I’m currently an online college student so plenty of time will be devoted to your pets! I am flexible when it comes to relocating to fit your pet’s needs! I live in an apartment with a spacious area to walk around outside and a dog park! I have one senior cat I rescued that sleeps all day in his cat tree. I’m well adjusted to all personalities of pets, the crazy ones, and the lazy ones!
About: I’ve cared for dogs of every kind for 10 years. As a therapist with a flexible schedule, I bring a calm, patient energy to pet care and always give dogs plenty of attention and exercise. As a therapist, I set my own hours, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m reliably available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding throughout the week and on weekends. My home is a comfortable, pet-friendly environment — I have a dog and two cats of my own, so your pet will have friendly animal company and be cared for the same way I care for my own pets.
“Cassie is a great dog walker. She always makes time for me when I need extra walks. We work around each other's times great. My dog is soooo happy when she comes. I would recommend her.”

About: Hi I'm Rion, I’ve been around dogs since as long as I can remember and I have been taking care of them just as long, professionally and non-professionally! My previous professional pet care experience was doing the daily managing of a daycare & boarding facility for 3+ years. There I cared for a wide variety of animals including: dogs, cats, reptiles, and even the occasional pig! In addition to pet care, I’ve held several caregiving roles, such as working as an elementary paraeducator and a part-time caregiver at an Assisted Living Facility during the peak of COVID. Of course, my favorite experience has been my time at the dog boarding and daycare facility! These days, I am in cosmetology school, which takes up the majority of my week so I am only available for drop-ins and walks for now. I go to school 3 days out of the week and am free the other days :) Of course I would always notify if there was something that came up at any point. I'm not able to keep more pets in my home but would love to care for your furkids in your home! I would love to get to know your pups with a meet & greet before house sitting/dog walking :)
“Eric is way more than I expected. I haven't used others to walk my dog, but I just had major surgery and had no alternative. Callie anxiously awaits Eric's arrival and is so excited to go with him. It makes my heart sing. He clearly understands dogs.”

“Rebecca responded quickly when I needed someone with only 2 days notice to walk my pup! My dog loved her and she sent me great updates! I was so grateful to find someone to jump in and help us out. I will definitely keep using her to help walk my dog!”
About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I have owned multiple dogs and have always been in charge of them. I have helped train my pets and have watched my neighbors and friends pets! I have been a nanny who had to take care of two dogs and helped out with two other dogs! I love to spend time with dogs and cats, and play with them! I am athletic and don’t mind running around with pets. I am a full time student right now. But I have a lot of free time with my schedule. I have class on The weekends, but am available during the week. When I am in charge of a pets I understand that their needs are generally the same as ours, and they need to be taken care of. I am willing to make commitments work! I am very respectful of other’s space and personal life. I understand that there is a boundary when it comes to being in someone else’s home and private space. I want to create a safe environment for both the client and myself!

About: I have cared for animals my entire life and feel comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I enjoy working with energetic puppies, calm seniors, anxious dogs, and pets who need a little extra patience or reassurance. I provide walks, drop‑ins, enrichment, feeding routines, and companionship that helps pets feel safe and happy. I focus on gentle handling, clear communication, and creating a positive experience for every pet. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy building consistent routes for the dogs I walk. I offer morning, midday, and afternoon availability during the week, along with flexible weekend options. Once I learn a pet’s routine, I keep their schedule steady so they receive reliable care every time. I make sure every pet has what they need to feel comfortable, and safe. I check that their gear is fitted properly, follow their routines closely, and ask for clarification anytime I need it so I can give them the best care possible. I walk pets where they feel confident, or I can transport them to quieter or more familiar areas. I talk to pets, stay connected with their body language, and give them plenty of love, play and positive attention. I respect each home by keeping things tidy, refreshing water, giving food as directed, and making sure everything is secure before I leave. My goal is simple: a safe visit or walk, a happy pet, and complete peace of mind for the owner.

“LOVED having Angel walk our dog a couple times a week. Her photos and comments are great and let us know how Sydney is doing during the day. You can tell she really cares for animals, it isn't just lip service, and has a heart of gold. We've been very happy!!”

About: I’ve always taken care of dogs by word of mouth for friends and neighbors. I’m a nurse, so very comfortable giving any medications needed, and I have taken care of special needs and elderly pets. I work four days a week. Close to home so on the off chance I’m working I can always do a mid day potty break and walk. I’m off all weekends with my 6 year old girl. We are very active and would love to take your pup on adventures with us, or just be lazy and snuggle at home with them. I have a small fenced backyard and have watched many dogs here. I usually do at minimum one walk around the neighborhood a day and then time in the backyard. I can also stay in your home over the weekend if needed. Also very open to weekend dog walks.

My schedule is flexible and open so frequent visits and walks won’t be a problem for me! My schedule is very open, I am able and willing to adjust to your preferences! I will be sure to treat your home with the utmost respect and care, being sure that your home will look great and be ready when you return.
“Danielle is wonderful! She is a very caring and conscientious pet sitter. She is thorough, punctual, and trust worthy. Our puppy loves her and we are so sad she is leaving this area because both us and our pup are all going to miss her!”

Thank you!”

“Jeremy is very communicative and easy to work with! He was always sending us pictures to give us peace of mind. Our pup enjoyed his time at Jeremy’s and we would definitely have him go back.”

“Ryan and Lorien were wonderful with our Charlie dog. Their sweet dog even shared their toy with him. Charlie was given lots of love and attention. We felt at ease having him there while on our vacation. Would definitely book with them again. Thanks!”

“Alejandra and Patrick took great care of our dog, River. They provided updates every night of his stay. We've never seen him sleep for so long after returning home.”
“Kyleigh was fantastic, took great care of my senior dog with disabilities. Loved the photo updates and could tell that he was very comfortable while we were away on vacation. Will definitely try to request Kyleigh again next time.”

“Brittany is a wonderful dog sitter! My Sonny is a senior Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and he was treated like a king! Brittany took great care of Sonny and he looked so happy being with Wookie, Brittany's senior dog. She also sent me great photos while I was traveling so I could see what they were up to. I travel several times a year and I am so glad to find someone I can trust with my old man! I am already booking Brittany for my next adventure!”

“We had a great experience with Alex. He is very kind and is a dog lover. He was great with communication and drop off pickup and being flexible with our times. He let us enjoy our trip but sent a few messages and took amazing photos of our dog Chip. He was thoughtful and gave us some prints and a magnet of his photography of our cutie pup Chip. We will definitely be using Alex again. Thank you!”
