About: I’ve had several dogs throughout my life and will probably be getting another one or two within the next year. My main option on here is dog boarding but, depending on the dog boarding schedule, I or somebody else on my team could also be open to do drop ins, house sitting, or walks, especially for those who have already used our boarding services. Please ask about these additional services after a confirmed boarding session. I’m in the middle of taking a few years off from teaching high school because A) Who couldn’t use a break from that? and B) I am focusing on building up a short-term rental business (Airbnb mostly). As an Airbnb host I spend a lot of time at home and have found that one of my favorite things to do is play with dogs in the yard (especially, when there’s more than one of them here at the same time!) and take them on trips to the park. I love dogs and am very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I live in a house with a fenced yard and all of the instructions you leave will be followed to keep your little buddy happy & safe! I am home most of the day and when I do leave it's usually only for an hour or two at a time. Most of what I do at home (working on a computer, household chores, yard work) I do in the presence of whatever dogs happen to be staying at that time. One limitation that I do try to stick to is to avoid scheduling drop-offs or pickups on Sundays before 10:00 am. Unfortunately, Rover doesn't give me the option to block off those times without blocking out the entire day so adding this note here is the only way to give you a heads up (hopefully, you read this before booking). I have a fenced yard and usually board 2 or 3 dogs at a time so that they have playmates. If ever I leave the house, dogs are left inside. Dogs that stay here must be up to date on shots as well as on a flea-prevention medication.

About: I’m an animal rights activist, a vegan, and an environmentalist, so I’m always fighting for the animals, wild or domestic! We had all sorts of animals while I was growing up, including cats and dogs. We started with cats and two beagles, and after the beagles' passing, we adopted the sweetest schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle) on the planet! Long story short, after my sister and I moved out, my parents ended up with two more dogs and trusted only one person (other than my sister) to look after all three dogs when they (my folks) would go on trips: me. We continued to have cats and other animals during that time. My parents are down to two dogs now, but that's been one of my jobs for the last several years, in addition to looking after friends' dogs. I've also volunteered at a couple of shelters as a cat socializer and cat/kitten foster parent. During that time, I completed a "Fear Free Shelter" course and understand the signs of distressed dogs and cats and how to reduce their stress (one spoiler: classical music for dogs). I’m also certified in canine and feline first aid/CPR. Anyway, I love doing drop-in visits and dog walking and am happy to offer my home as a daycare. I love seeing animals in the comfort of their own homes and letting dogs explore my backyard. I'm currently funemployed, so I have time to do drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy daycare most days. Dogs staying with me for the day would have access to our fenced backyard. If you need only dog-walking or drop-in sittings, then I can usually start after 10a. For doggy daycare, I’ll be sure to provide the stability and boundaries your fur baby needs. Your dog is welcome on the couch during the day, and we have a heated and air conditioned home during the hot and cold months. If I'm in your home, such as for drop-in visits, I'll use Rover Cards to let you know when I arrive, document how things went while I was there (with photos), and let you know when I head out. It would also help me tremendously if you could provide written instructions on Rover ahead of time. My goal is to provide all of the comfort your honey needs while you’re away. About: I have been petsitting since I was about 12 years old. My whole street relied on me, every dog on that street would get excited just by the sight. I was in charge of, feeding, playing with them, bathing them, and walking them. Some people just wanted them to have comfort, especially the older ones. I have dealt with many puppies and senior dogs too, all different sizes. I love pet sitting, and since I have moved, it has been much harder to find clientele. This is something I would love to continue and pursue as a future. I am also a wrangler at Baldwin Lake Stables, meaning the upkeep for the horses relies on me. The feeding, cleaning, hard labor , etc. I also take care of the bulls, goats, rabbits, etc. I am very experienced when it comes to the upkeep of our babies. You can trust your furbabies will be loved and cared for just as you would. I currently do not have a job, I will always make sure your babies are getting as much time and love as you would give. I have a fully fenced yard, and two very friendly dogs. If needed, my pups definitely can be separated, or crated. In my client's home, I follow every rule and expectation they imply. I take extra precautions being in the client's home, as I dont want anything to happen to any of their stuff or their furbaby.
About: I’ve been on Rover for about 4 years now. I take care of the dogs as if they are my own and love giving them all the attention and cuddles they want. I’m also happy to walk, feed, and provide meds for them. I’m currently unemployed, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pups! My availability is open all week for walks, sitting, and some play time. I ensure that all the gates are closed if the dogs will be outside and I make sure that they aren’t outside when it’s too hot for their paws.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 6! I’m extremely comfortable around all kinds of pets, having previously owned dogs, cats, small rodents and snakes. I also used to work overnight at a dog daycare and am comfortable handling various breeds and all ages of dogs. I am also okay with senior pets since I have one myself! Due to that, I’m experienced with handling medicine and sticking to a routine. I’m used to oral and topical medication but am willing to learn any other sorts to take care of your loved one! I’m currently a student who creates her own work schedule so I will make sure to have all the time needed to take care of your pet! When i do have classes, I will be sure to make my availability known.

About: I got my first dog at the age of nine. He was a black lab named Blazer. In college I recused a Husky and PitBull mix. I've always loved running to keep my dog healthy and young.He is now four years old and his name is Bear! He's full of energy so we go for a run almost every day. I would love to meet your little companion and take him or her out for a walk and a treat while you are away for the weekend or at work (: I love all animals and would be comfortable with a dog of any size, Big or small, fat or tall, young or old, but will only pet-sit smaller dogs.
