About: The first family pet o ever took care of was a calico cat named Keisha,. She had already been a member of he family for over a year before I was born so I guess it’s fair to say she took care of me for the first decade. That's the only time I can remember us having just one cat in my childhood. You've had all kinds of breeds and both indoor and outdoor cats alike. I have yet to own or take care of a Maine Coon and I sure would like to one day. I've always seemed to be the one that can get the cat to come out from hiding when no one else can.

It sounds like it took a day for him to warm up to Susan and the other dogs, since he can sometimes be fearful, but the next day he was running up the driveway, excited to return. He'd come home so tired from playing with the other dogs. Susan seems to have a few dogs there every day, which ended up being great socialization for Thor. She has a big backyard for them to play in, and a patio area inside for them to spend time when it's too hot out. She treated Thor well, and we look forward to having him stay with her again soon.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have also had my own Yorkie Terrier I cared for with much love. I know what it’s like to care for and own a dog and I will make your dog feel at home and treat them as if they were my own fur baby. I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your animals anytime since it’s summer!! I’m free most weekends days except Thursdays and Sundays 8am-12pm. Some weekends depending!! I have a small front area they could go pee at when it’s late at night or even early in the mornings. About: I’m an animal rights activist, a vegan, and an environmentalist, so I’m always fighting for the animals, wild or domestic! We had all sorts of animals while I was growing up, including cats and dogs. We started with cats and two beagles, and after the beagles' passing, we adopted the sweetest schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle) on the planet! Long story short, after my sister and I moved out, my parents ended up with two more dogs and trusted only one person (other than my sister) to look after all three dogs when they (my folks) would go on trips: me. I've also volunteered at a couple of shelters as a cat socializer and cat/kitten foster parent. During that time, I completed a "Fear Free Shelter" course and understand the signs of distressed dogs and cats and how to reduce their stress (one spoiler: classical music for dogs). I’m also certified in canine and feline first aid/CPR. Anyway, I love doing drop-in visits and dog walking and am happy to offer my home as a daycare. I love seeing animals in the comfort of their own homes and letting dogs explore my backyard. I'm currently funemployed, so I have time to do drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy daycare most days. Dogs staying with me for the day would have access to our fenced backyard. If you need only dog-walking or drop-in sittings, then I can usually start after 10a. For doggy daycare, I’ll be sure to provide the stability and boundaries your fur baby needs. Your dog is welcome on the couch during the day, and we have a heated and air conditioned home during the hot and cold months.
