She sent us lots and lots of pictures and videos of Boomer all the time, and they always put a smile on the kids’ faces! We will most definitely use Ivy again, and refer her to all of our family and friends!”

“Since the pandemic, my dog and I both have separation anxiety from each other now. But whenever Ramen is with Mary Ann and Edwin, I don’t have to worry about him. They send pictures every single day, notify me of every little thing, and just make sure that he’s having such a good time that I never have to worry while I’m gone. They’re my go-to people whenever I need boarding services and will keep going to them until they quit! 😂”

About: I’ve been on Rover for about 4 years now. I take care of the dogs as if they are my own and love giving them all the attention and cuddles they want. I’m also happy to walk, feed, and provide meds for them. I’m currently unemployed, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your pups! My availability is open all week for walks, sitting, and some play time. I ensure that all the gates are closed if the dogs will be outside and I make sure that they aren’t outside when it’s too hot for their paws.
About: I understand pets aren’t just animals. They’re a part of us we often make family. So I will take care & love them as such🐾🐈⬛🙏. I have free time all week as of now. That’s no problem. I work from home at night/flexible schedule that I often choose for myself. I am looking forward more to dog walking. But I respect and follow rules. Everybody cares differently for their pets, so I make sure to follow what they ask me to, I love animals so it’s no problem.
About: For the past 5 years I've pet sat for family and friends, especially during the summer. Many have suggested I venture out to pet sit on the side because they love how I care for their pets. Pets are part of the family and I understand the importance of a trusting pet sitter. Your pets safety and well being will always be my priority! I work full time as an emergency room technician. I work 3 twelve hour shifts a week allowing me to have 4 days out of the week to help clients with any pet care needs! I have the flexibility of offering all day/night services both weekdays and weekends! My priority is the safety and well being of your pet! I thoroughly review all the information provided of your pet and communicate any questions I may have. I make an effort to know feeding schedules, potty preferences and activity schedules before meeting your pet. My goal is make sure your pet feels at home with zero disruption to their routine.

“Holly S. is wonderful. She is prompt, responsive, and trustworthy. Most importantly, she truly cared about our old kitty who is timid, deaf, and set in her ways. The difficulty in going anywhere for any length of time is leaving our girl behind. Holly provided detailed updates, including our girl's habits & personality, that gave us a clear understanding of her well-being while we were gone. (This made it easy for us to fully enjoy our time away.) We will definitely ask Holly the next time we need a sitter.♡”

About: I had a boston terrier and doberman as pets. Though I don’t have professional experience in taking care of dogs, I love taking care of people and pets. I’m open to learning, observant, communicative. I’m a nurse who works 3 days a week, studying part time and I am seeking for tasks I can do during my free time. I currently do not have pets at home right now. I have more interest in walking pets and drop-in visits. I also have the patience and strength to wall bigger dogs as I had a doberman who was 1-2 yrs old.

About: First little Homie I ever knew was a calico named Keisha, who was waiting for me at home when I was first brought home from the hospital. That's the only time I can remember us having just one cat in my childhood. You've had all kinds of breeds and both indoor and outdoor cats alike. I have yet to own or take care of a Maine Coon and I sure would like to one day. I've always seemed to be the one that can get the cat to come out from hiding when no one else can.

About: I have been caring for pets (dogs and cats) since I was 5 years old as both a pet owner and sitter. I understand how difficult it can be to be away from your pet family members and will send regular pics and updates to keep you informed about your pet's well-being while you're away. I have always been passionate about researching and finding effective natural solutions to support pet health and am happy to recommend helpful approaches for your pets specific needs at your request. I also have lots of senior dog care experience, and am comfortable administering most meds that don't involve needles. My beloved senior dog with special needs (lost use of hind legs among other things) recently passed away and I miss him but am so thankful for the time we had. I learned a lot about using natural remedies to support senior dog health from him and also learned to walk him with support for his hind end. I am currently able to provide drop in visits for pets in the Mountain Glen I community in Sylmar at this time. If you live in this community and need help caring for your family pet, please reach out so we can arrange a time to meet. Happy to help with dogs, cats and possibly other kinds of pets. I can board too, but only for pets I know and have worked with previously. I always look for and implement practices that will create a safe, peaceful, healthy and nurturing environment for pets in my home and only board pets from the same home at the same time. Boarding and day-care are only available for pets I know and have worked with previously.
About: Hi there! I'm Joanna. I have experience in training puppies as well as watching over senior dogs. I can say I have a lot of patience and I understand how some dogs can be timid at first, but no worries I'm here to help bring out their confidence! I have always spent my time with dogs from a very young age. My dogs enjoy it when we go out for a hike, walk, or play dates at the dog park and I can definitely provide that for you if requested. Trust is one of the most important things and I know I will be able to provide that for you and your fur baby. I am a full-time student, but since the classes I'm taking are online, I can still be attentive to your fur baby at any moment! I currently only live with my small-sized dog, Archie. He is super friendly and enjoys going on walks, especially when he walks with other dogs. I understand how important they are in our lives and I definitely consider my dogs as my children so I would treat your pets just as how I would treat mine! I understand how every dog is different and they have different routines, but booking with an experienced dog sitter will ensure they get their needs met while giving you peace of mind!

“Lisa is great! Would highly recommend her services. She dropped in on our two cats while we were out of town - she followed all of our instructions, was extremely communicative and we came home to two very happy cats. Thank you Lisa!!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats. My responsibilities have included feeding, grooming, administering medication, and providing plenty of playtime and affection. I'm comfortable with cats of all ages and temperaments, from playful kittens to shy seniors, and I'm adept at recognizing and responding to their individual needs.
“Amazing experience. My kitties were treated like family. Shaun accommodated a very last minute booking and gave me daily updates on my pets. Thank you again for excellent care!”

About: Hi! I’m Alexis. I’ve been around cats my entire life and currently have 5 of my own, so I understand all the different personalities they can have—from super cuddly lap cats to the independent ones who act like they don’t care (but secretly do). I know how important it is for cats to feel safe and comfortable, especially when their owners are away. I always take my time with them and let them come to me on their own terms. Whether your cat wants playtime, treats, gentle attention, or just someone to sit nearby and keep them company, I’m happy to match their energy. I also have experience caring for cats with medical needs and giving medications when needed, so I’m comfortable following detailed instructions and routines if your cat requires a little extra care. My goal is simple: to make sure your cat feels calm, cared for, and stress-free while you’re away—and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I’ll treat your cat like one of my own, with patience, love, and lots of respect for their space and personality.

About: I’ve had my own cat for three years and have cared for cats my whole life. I’m experienced in feeding, cleaning litter boxes, providing companionship, and giving pets attention and playtime. I enjoy making sure cats feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away.
“It was lovely to meet Janelle. She was right on time for our meet and greet, stayed long enough to get all important information, asked good questions and was gentle and kind with my senior dog. I am sorry we were not able to work together this time but I do think Janelle would be a good sitter for someone else.”

“We were visiting LA and required a last minute sitter due to the hot weather. Edwin and his family were quick to respond and accepted Java last minute! Edwin and his family were so great! We got the updates that we wanted throughout the day and Java looked like she was having fun. Java was spoiled during her stay and even received some homemade dinner. We would definitely recommend you leave your pet with them and we would if we are back in the area.”

“I was looking for a daycare option for my corgi to get used to bigger dogs again after a bad experience with a loose dog. Brasilio gladly did a meet and greet with us and brought his Husky to meet Tucker. He was very laid back with Tucker and very comfortable giving him a chance to get acclimated to his dog. Tucker responded very well so I felt like he’d be in good hands w/ Brasilio. He was also very accommodating when he needed to stay overnight when I had a schedule change and wanted to just pick him up the next day. Tucker has been doing MUCH better with new dog friends thanks to Brasilio!”

“Maria and her daughter as so incredibly sweet, kind and supportive. It was my first visit & they made me feel very comfortable and gave me updates. Communication was great!”

About: I’ve had several dogs throughout my life and will probably be getting another one or two within the next year. My main option on here is dog boarding but, depending on the dog boarding schedule, I or somebody else on my team could also be open to do drop ins, house sitting, or walks, especially for those who have already used our boarding services. Please ask about these additional services after a confirmed boarding session. I’m in the middle of taking a few years off from teaching high school because A) Who couldn’t use a break from that? and B) I am focusing on building up a short-term rental business (Airbnb mostly). As an Airbnb host I spend a lot of time at home and have found that one of my favorite things to do is play with dogs in the yard (especially, when there’s more than one of them here at the same time!) and take them on trips to the park. I love dogs and am very reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. I live in a house with a fenced yard and all of the instructions you leave will be followed to keep your little buddy happy & safe! I am home most of the day and when I do leave it's usually only for an hour or two at a time. Most of what I do at home (working on a computer, household chores, yard work) I do in the presence of whatever dogs happen to be staying at that time. One limitation that I do try to stick to is to avoid scheduling drop-offs or pickups on Sundays before 10:00 am. Unfortunately, Rover doesn't give me the option to block off those times without blocking out the entire day so adding this note here is the only way to give you a heads up (hopefully, you read this before booking). I have a fenced yard and usually board 2 or 3 dogs at a time so that they have playmates. If ever I leave the house, dogs are left inside. Dogs that stay here must be up to date on shots as well as on a flea-prevention medication.
“What a little mountain retreat for my pupper at Laura&Brian's! He loved frolicking around their hilltop grounds surrounded by trees and nature! Their attentive care, extensive experience and expertise all made his stay a delightful respite with loads of fun with his fellow pupper lodgers! I love the "report card" they give after the visit concludes (a log of potty times, naps, meals, activities, etc.). So very helpful. Also, I packed my pupper shank steak, and Laura saved the bone for me in a nice zip-loc bag for my pupper to enjoy gnawing on it later. Very thoughtful.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend Savannah! She took great care of my Yorkie and treated him like he was her own. She was reliable, caring, and made sure he was comfortable and happy while I was away. It gave me peace of mind knowing my dog was in good hands. I would definitely use her services again!”

“Thank you thank you thank you! Natalie was amazing with my dogs even the shy one of the bunch! Definitely would recommend and will definitely use her services again! ??”

“Great communication. I have a senior pet who requires a lot of special care like medicine administration, special food preparation, and diaper changes. They handled it all well. Will definitely have them dog sit again.”

“My pup is always happy and tired when she comes home from Lillybeth’s home! I am always comfortable knowing that my girl is being taken care of and loved. Will continue to trust Lillybeth with my dog!”

“Lauren was great. She met me before hand so I could intro our dogs, sent lots of pics of my pup, and walked her twice. She was great. I would book her again.”

“Amazing sitter!! Shaun and her family are super sweet and everytime I’ve left Roux with them they treat him as their own! They send updates, pictures and videos throughout the day which I truly enjoy! We’ve used them twice already and will continue to use their services!!”

“Greatly appreciate Brenda, she cares for my Coco on the weekends. She works with my hours which is great since my job is a bit hectic during these days. Coco loves being with her and that is something I’m very grateful for. Will continue bringing her 🙂”

“She was lovely and very understanding. My dog usually has a hard time playing with other dogs or even going with other people but she had no problem and Mason looked happy.”

“Another awesome stay for Chili! Updates throughout the day were great and they even found a toy for Chili that she couldn't destroy! Chili is already looking to schedule her next stay. Thanks again guys!”

“Bernadette took great care of Wensley. He seemed really content when I picked him up, and I appreciated her flexibility as far as drop off time. She's a great communicator and kept me posted with pictures. I will definitely be using Bernadette again for Wensley's future doggy daycare needs. Also, he loved the extra little doggy treats Bernadette had made. Such a great little surprise.”

“Ilona was exceptional. Very communicative, flexible and easy to work with. We came up to visit six flags for the day and she was able to coordinate with me for a flexible needed schedule. 100% recommend and would use her again.”

“Amazing! Kindness, warmth and complete kindness and super consideration! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m so grateful. I’m a worried mom, as are others, but I was reassured and greatly respected. My puppy was so loved and cared for! I couldn’t ask for more. 100% recommendation.”

About: I’m kind and patient with pets. I understand that they are not the same but do require the same type of care and love. I enjoy playing with them and giving them belly rubs and taking them for walks. I’m currently on summer breaks and would like to spend time caring for pets when their loved ones are away. It may be difficult on some families due to their schedule so I would like to make it easier on them. They way I would care for my clients pet at their home. I will check on them first and then see if they have water in their bowl. Will see if they require feeding. Lastly I will follow the instructions left my client. If they need a walk or play with them and keep them company.
About: I’m an animal rights activist, a vegan, and an environmentalist, so I’m always fighting for the animals, wild or domestic! We had all sorts of animals while I was growing up, including cats and dogs. We started with cats and two beagles, and after the beagles' passing, we adopted the sweetest schnoodle (schnauzer-poodle) on the planet! Long story short, after my sister and I moved out, my parents ended up with two more dogs and trusted only one person (other than my sister) to look after all three dogs when they (my folks) would go on trips: me. We continued to have cats and other animals during that time. My parents are down to two dogs now, but that's been one of my jobs for the last several years, in addition to looking after friends' dogs. I've also volunteered at a couple of shelters as a cat socializer and cat/kitten foster parent. During that time, I completed a "Fear Free Shelter" course and understand the signs of distressed dogs and cats and how to reduce their stress (one spoiler: classical music for dogs). I’m also certified in canine and feline first aid/CPR. Anyway, I love doing drop-in visits and dog walking and am happy to offer my home as a daycare. I love seeing animals in the comfort of their own homes and letting dogs explore my backyard. I'm currently funemployed, so I have time to do drop-in visits, dog walking, and doggy daycare most days. Dogs staying with me for the day would have access to our fenced backyard. If you need only dog-walking or drop-in sittings, then I can usually start after 10a. For doggy daycare, I’ll be sure to provide the stability and boundaries your fur baby needs. Your dog is welcome on the couch during the day, and we have a heated and air conditioned home during the hot and cold months. If I'm in your home, such as for drop-in visits, I'll use Rover Cards to let you know when I arrive, document how things went while I was there (with photos), and let you know when I head out. It would also help me tremendously if you could provide written instructions on Rover ahead of time. My goal is to provide all of the comfort your honey needs while you’re away. (I've been that anxious pet guardian myself, so I get it!)
About: I have watched friends and family pets for several years. I have gained knowledge by feeding and caring for them. I will follow your care instructions and if I have any questions I will contact you. My schedule is flexible which allows me plenty of time to take care of your fur babies! Whether your pet needs drop-in visits, walks, or playtime. I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, love, and consistent care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your care instructions, keep your home clean, provide plenty of exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection while respecting your pet’s routine and boundaries.

I currently do not have pets at home right now. I have more interest in walking pets and drop-in visits. I also have the patience and strength to wall bigger dogs as I had a doberman who was 1-2 yrs old.
About: I’ll care for your dog like It’s my own. I’ll match their energy so that it can be a playful and/or relaxing time. Plus I am a really patient person, so it helps when I care for my dogs when its time to brush their fur, give them a bath, walk them or train them. I work a part-time job, so I can definitely be available for a few days out of the week. With a few days in advance notice it works out perfectly with me. I love caring for my 2 dogs and making sure their needs are met, and I can assure you I can provide the same attention to your furry friends.
About: I have cared for dogs and cats since I was 10 years old. I was taught that the animals eat first because they can’t speak. I enjoy spending time with animals. They are great company I believe petting an animal can lower your blood pressure. Your pets need extra affection while you’re gone. I’m there for that. I am a retired mom of self-sufficient teenagers. My flexible schedule allows me to do overnights and weekends and multi night care. I look forward to these jobs. I’m experienced with crating. I love some dog walking exercise. I also really enjoy spending time in a backyard as long as it’s fenced in and secure.

“Anna did an amazing job with our senior dog. She sent daily pictures and updates and It was so nice not to have to worry about anything while we were away. Thanks so much, Anna! I will be in touch for when we go out of town next. Thanks for the sweet plant and card as well. You are the best!”

I make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.

I’m responsible, attentive, and willing to follow any special instructions to make sure your pet gets the best care possible. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like my own. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting during the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, exercise, and care while their owners are away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and my client’s home. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special requests. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and needs and provide regular updates and photos for owners so they can feel reassured while away.

About: Hi! My name is Alexis, and animals have always been one of the biggest joys in my life. I absolutely love dogs, cats, and animals of all kinds. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I currently have two dogs and five cats of my own, so I understand the love, attention, and commitment that pets need every day. If you know me, you know I’m the person who gets excited every time I see a dog on a walk or a cat lounging outside. I’m always the first one asking if I can pet a dog, and I never pass by a stray animal without trying to make sure it has food, water, or a little kindness. My love for animals is genuine, and spending time with them never feels like a job to me. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for my own pets when they’ve been sick. Whenever one of my cats or dogs needed medication, special care, or extra attention, I was usually the one making sure they got what they needed. Because of this, I’m comfortable following care instructions and being patient with pets who may need a little extra support. In addition to my experience with animals, I work in healthcare, which has taught me the importance of responsibility, attentiveness, and compassion. I understand how important it is to pay attention to details, follow routines, and provide quality care—skills that I bring with me when caring for pets as well. I’m often the go-to pet sitter for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable to care for their pets. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, medication administration, or simply keeping your pet company while you’re away, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. My goal is to make sure your furry family member feels safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while giving you peace of mind that they’re in good hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! Pet care fits really naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I currently work night shift, which means my days are usually free and very flexible. Because of that, I have plenty of time and availability to dedicate to walking, drop-ins, and spending quality time with pets during the day. I actually love that my schedule allows me to be fully present when I’m caring for animals—I’m not rushing between work or distracted by a 9–5 schedule. I can give pets my full attention, whether that means morning walks, midday visits, feeding routines, playtime, or just keeping them company and making sure they feel comfortable while you’re away. My routine also makes it easy for me to be consistent and reliable with scheduling. I’m used to balancing responsibilities and working odd hours, so I’m very organized and good at sticking to care instructions and time-sensitive routines. Overall, my flexible daytime availability makes pet care a perfect fit for my lifestyle, and I really enjoy being able to spend that time doing something I genuinely love. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my main priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and as relaxed as possible while their owners are away. I always take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so I can keep things consistent and familiar for them. I approach every visit with patience and calm energy, letting pets warm up to me at their own pace. Whether it’s feeding, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, or just spending quiet time together, I make sure each pet gets the attention and care they need. I’m also very detail-oriented when it comes to following instructions. If a pet has a specific feeding schedule, medication routine, or special care needs, I make sure everything is done exactly as requested. I have experience administering medications and caring for pets with extra medical needs, so I’m comfortable handling those responsibilities with care and reliability. While I’m in the home, I also make sure everything stays clean, respectful, and as you left it. My goal is not only to care for your pet, but to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands and your home is being respected. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own—always with love, patience, and attention to their unique personality.

“We plan on utilizing Lillybeth as our sitter for an extend stay away from Los Angeles (25 days). We had our dog, Archie, spend a "test night" with her and came away extremely satisfied with the experience. Lillybeth and her immediate family (husband, children) sit the dogs in their home and, as a result, the environment feels incredibly warm, inviting, and "homey." Plus, they have tons of space! If you are unfamiliar with Panorama City, the individual lots are extremely long, and Lillybeth allows your dog to roam her entire property! Plus, there is an in-ground pool available to the dogs if they like to swim. Her property is well-fenced and we had absolutely no concern about unexpected escape. Our dog is well-socialized given how often we take him to the dog park, so we like the fact that during his stay with Lillybeth, there will likely be one or two other dogs there for him to engage and play throughout his stay. Lillybeth asked us if that would be okay and will cater your dog's stay to his or her needs. If your dog isn't well-socialized she won't bring other dogs onto the property during his or her stay. Overall, we feel extremely comfortable and confident leaving our beloved family pet with Lillybeth and her family for such a long period of time after the experience we just had of leaving him with them for the night. Thank you Lillybeth!”

“Brenda gives daily updates and photos. She provided great communication and exercise for Kodi. Kodi got along great with her husky, Leeloo. I hated to separate him from his new friends. I will use her services again. I highly recommend Brenda.”

“Natalie was amazing! I really felt safe leaving my puppy with her over holiday break and she constantly sent photos of her so we knew she was okay :) Bailey had lots of fun in the yard and with other dogs. Loved that she had a great experience rather than leaving her at a kennel. Would recommend!”

“Anebelle and Ben were amazing. They accommodated tedious different diet needs of our two dogs. “Renata and her family were incredible hosts for our 5 year old pug Anu. They were welcoming, provided lots of updates, and truly treated him like a part of the family. Renata shared a lot of photos throughout the long weekend that they watched Anu and I've never seen him happy and settled in so quickly at a new person's house.
